I got scammed by an MFC model last night. I payed her on Paypal for a show and waited on Skype because she claimed that she was in a private show. I waited until it's 40 minutes have passed and then talked to her MFC room and she was like "Oh I forgot." She then blocked me in her MFC room and Skype. I filed a dispute in PayPal and she responded that she stripped for me on Skype. I never brought up the fact that it's a sex show. I just said digital goods not received. I think she's dumb for bringing that up. I have the option to escalate the case for further investigations in 6 days. The thing is I don't want my Paypal account blocked.
I am sure this happened before and I need advice.
Thanks
First because you accused a model of doing anything wrong as well admitted you are basic on MFC you probably won't get a lot of support/advise from most of the models or members here.
Second Skype and PaPal have nothing to do with each other so Skype isn't going to rat you out to PayPal.
Third if your PayPal account is one you use regularly then just take it on the chin and let it go. Otherwise escalate it and make sure her account gets closed as well. The problem with trying to get your money back is you are engaging in activity that most companies outside of the adult world have a zero tolerance with and will act without warning PayPal is notorious for this.
Fourth realize that this forum gets lots of disgruntled people who have been or feel cheated by cam models so no need to get into a bitch match with models/members it's not worth it because in the end you will only get more pissed and eventually banned. I realize that you are pissed but ignore the drama and only reply to people who give you genuine helpful advise.
This might not be what you wanted to hear but in the end there is not much you can do with it. There is no Better Business Bureau for cam models and since you acted outside of MFC unfortunately you are on your own.
