I think the majority of models actually respect and care about their guys rather than secretly thinking how they're such creepy losers. Sorry I did phrase that badly, I was more thinking about rather than it being the members that you talk to, the members who you don't talk to. Like the random ones who say weird shit once in a while, or who lurk as a guest and say weird shit on twitter. I'm pretty lucky also to have a lot of cool guys in my room, and I've never had huge amounts of trouble with total creepers, but I do get on several occasions every time I'm in my room moments where I go "really???". I also get requests and such, even occasionally in privates I've taken that just make me go :shock:

When I wrote that post I didn't realise that it was talking about models being so nasty about dudes who actually tip/spend money on them. I thought it was just taking the piss out of a few idiots we get, those were the guys I had in mind. And I wasn't really thinking it in a nasty way, more like you might know someone/speak to someone and think "they're pretty weird", doesn't necessarily mean you mean that in a nasty way, and you probably wouldn't say it, but you still think it. It seems kind of human nature, some people are a little weird, and some people are a little sad, and some people are a little bit on the creepy/dumb/shallow/nerdy/sexy/whatever random thing that people can be. I'm only human, so yes, I do pass my own judgements on members, even the ones I really like! I think you'd have to be the most unbiased, accepting person in the world to be a camgirl and not pass some of your own personal judgements on members automatically. It's one of the reasons I don't view cams/like seeing what members look like, I automatically start feeling sorry for them if they're unattractive. Horrible I know, I'm not even a shallow person, but I get more worried about them finding someone! I start having less faith in their pulling skills! I can't help the preconceived judgements that society has taught me, so I live in the dark and imagine all my members are kindly, average looking men, not too sexy and not too unsexy.

I have to say I'm sure a lot of models feel like that privately too, now and then. Everyone goes through some dark moments occasionally, and during those moments they might not feel very charitable about anyone in their professional and personal lives, even those closest to them. A lot of us have even witnessed models going through some of those dark moments while on cam. I don't recommend it as a career move, but people get over it.

To be honest, I'd be a lot more doubtful about a model who claims to love all her members always, than one who, once in a while, wishes everyone would just piss off. I'd rather a model learned to handle that dark side and get past it, than try to be a saint, suppress it and hit the bottle or w/e in an effort to ignore it.

I think "a lot" is a broad term. Seeing as there are thousands upon thousands of cam models in the world, "a lot" could just mean 100 of those models. The words I'm more wary of are "most" as that implies the large majority of models feel that way.

I doubt any models who are on acf feel that way, but I would still wager that there are probably a fair amount of models who dislike their regulars even though they pay them. With so many models around and so many asshats around I'm sure that there must be models who are willing to deal with the complete idiots of cam society for the money, even though they're internally rolling their eyes.

Personally I don't cam in a way that I allow people I don't like near me. I decided when starting camming that consistently dealing with people who are idiots and not saying anything about it wasn't what I signed up for. I probably lose money because of this attitude, but I don't care.

When I speak to friends about camming, most of my female friends seem to hold this attitude that they'd feel this way about members. It is a preconception, but seeing as a lot of models don't make it past the first 3 months, have all of those models really lost those original preconceptions of members?

I think though that it'd be very hard for a full time model who's cammed for a fair amount of time to feel this way. Seeing as a large amount of models never will cam all that much or for that long there probably are a fair amount of models who do have very negative feelings towards their members, more than just an occasional "god you're pissing me off".

As much as ACF seems to be filled with a load of brilliant, clever AND kind hearted women, who all seem to have very healthy attitudes towards members, it doesn't mean there aren't a bunch of really nasty camgirls out there. I mean come on, statistically not all people are that nice, take members for example, I get dudes trying to scam me/say crap to me left right and centre, there are lots of them out there, just like there are lots of asshat members out there, there are lots of asshat models. Fortunately it doesn't seem to be a majority, I hope it's a minority! But because of numbers there are still a lot out there.

I never said "all", nor even "most". Just "a lot". Most of the problem is due to the language and cultural barriers, which makes finding common interests difficult. The ones who hate their jobs tend not to do well, though.

This is something I worry about immensely. Before I put in my 2 weeks at my vanilla job, it was extremely difficult for me to keep up with things like fansigns (mine are very involved) and shooting/editing photosets. I didn't award prizes very often, but I did do a Halloween show in which several people won things like photo sets (that I thought would be finished in the next 48 hours but ended up taking much longer) and fansigns, and because of life/work/camming/etc., I am JUST NOW finishing them.

I felt terrible, and all my guys knew that I was still working 2 jobs, so they were mostly understanding, but as a rule I made it very clear that I would not be able to offer any more prizes (even rewards for HT, etc.) until I was all caught up. I stuck to that through the entirety of November, and last week promised that I would have it all caught up by my first show of December.

Anyway, my point is that I completely understand this one- I just hope that members distinguish between girls who make empty promises and girls who do their best to keep up with everything, but sometimes drop the ball.
