Yep. It fits more into Carol's character to protect the girl even though she knew that something mentally was going on with her.RainieDay said:JerryBoBerry said:I've been having a theory that's been nagging me. My bet's on the older girl (Lily, I think? can never remember the kids' names) being the one that was feeding the walkers rats. She named them and got upset when one of the ones she watched "died." Seems consistent that she would feed them -- probably innocently.

I can see why they needed the governor to get people out of the prison. But yeah, I wish he had died last season too.Curvy_Krista said:mellymay said:I knew Herschel would go sometime. I can't even handle the fact that he's gone. :crybaby: I think I almost cried. I knew he would eventually, especially since he's the oldest and eventually he would die and become a walker anyway, but damn!
And all that extra hacking that the Governor did to Herschel after the fight ensued, so unnecessary! I'm so glad he finally got what he deserved and is dead. I don't know if anyone else feels this way but I got so annoyed that this whole Rick/Governor and prison drama lasted nearly two seasons!
I'm curious where they will take the show now!

I thought that too but then what was up with the tortured rat you see in the prison with Tyreese right before the tank hits?

That's what I was about to say too. Feeding the rats to the walkers wasn't about the walkers, it was about torturing the rats, which also explains the rat on the board. Enjoyment derived from the killing (and dissecting) of animals in children are precursor warning signs of a violent future. They've been setting up for having to deal with killing or leaving behind one of their own kids. Carol couldn't let that happen. So she took the blame to spare the kid. :twocents-02cents:MrRodry said:kittenkayyy said:RainieDay said:JerryBoBerry said:I've been having a theory that's been nagging me. I think they had an little psychopath among their people. Probably that Lizzie kid or her sister.
Since the 1970"s, research has consistently reported childhood cruelty to animals as the first warning sign of later delinquency, violence, and criminal behavior. In fact, nearly all violent crime perpetrators have a history of animal cruelty in their profiles. Albert deSalvo, the Boston Strangler found guilty of killing 13 women, shot arrows through dogs and cats he trapped as a child. Columbine shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold boasted about mutilating animals for fun.
