It was comparing blue states to red states.
It really makes sense to me that it's like this. Conservatives are very sex-negative (in general, obviously this doesn't apply to all of them) so they'd probably be the type to watch free porn because spending = supporting, but watching it for free, they can just pretend it was a momentary lapse in judgement but they'd never support that dirty, nasty, godless industry!
Correction! New Survey shows that those living in Democratic states are more likely to admit to spending larger amounts on camgirls than those living in Republican states.
It does not tell you who in each state is spending the money though, so it in no way compares the spend rate of members of the parties and should have had a nonclickbate headline that left out the red vs blue.

I didn't say it was a scientific study, lol. I said it was a curiosity due to my experiences. Once I started being vocal about my political affiliation a HIGH percentage of my most supportive friends/regulars/fans came out as being libertarian/libertarian-leaning as well, and in very specific ways i.e. not just agreeing with me because they like me. I talk about politics quite frequently in social media and bring it up in my room occasionally. It seems to me that way more than 12% (or whatever the polling numbers have Johnson at today) are huge advocates of free market economics and know a lot about it. Hence my curiosity. I'd love to do a survey but would have to put some consideration in the best way to do it for accurate results. Also, I'm aware that we tend to surround ourselves with those who agree with us, so there is definitely bias in that, which is why I mentioned that I haven't always been vocal about politics.
Sounds like it would be a real pain.
