Been viewing a model for a while, and sometimes ger viewers say nothing dont tip and dont interact and jesus its painful to watch. Shes great does her job well and occassionaly peoole try and get a bit of chat going . Most people just say dumb shit like " wow baby so hot" and then quiet for about 10 minutes.

There's no incentive for members to interact with each other instead of interacting solely with her. Find ways to change that.

If it's painful for you to watch, then don't.
I have a few people who come to my room and can't handle silence, or feel uncomfortable when my room is quiet. They become more annoying with their nervous high-stringedness than the fuckers who weren't talking.
Traffic comes in bursts, and sometimes a bit of peace is nice, but not when someone else gets uncomfy (and starts making it obvious and projecting their discomfort)- it ruins it.

Unless the model whose room it is, has a problem with it, then it's a non-issue.

However to also answer the original question; want some people to talk. Tell them they can't talk, or not to talk. They'll never fucking shut up. Seriously.
There are a million ways to get people to talk. Ask open-ended questions, specifically call them out by name, and ask them a question. Purposefully talk some minor shit, and you'll bet ya, someone won't be able to resist being drawn in, and/or correcting you. The worst way to get people to talk; tell them to talk.

Don't like lurkers; don't allow them.
The ones who were serious, come back and apologize, and do better.
Which is surprising quite a lot. There are many of them, who react super well to being called out, but you can't really tell them directly to talk, or they won't.

Think they are fapping in free; start musing out loud about puss, anal scabs, and slime 🤷‍♀️

Okay so on Chaturbate, everyone who is following a model has a star by their username in the user list. Someone gave me a compliment like I was the best of the best yes sir! So I quipped "yet you're the only one not following me" and he came back with "passive aggressive much?"

Sensitive fucking much?

You can be the first one to talk and tip. And if you already do…great. 👍 Whatever you do, PLEASE don’t be one of those guys who blurts out “Wow, it’s really dead in here…” Gee, thanks. Lol. Yeah, even Stevie Wonder can see that it’s dead in here…..

That’s certainly not gonna make the model feel any better. Tips and decent conversation will.

Bringing an interesting conversation could also be great. I always enjoy chatting with people in the public chatroom - especially if we share hobbies or interests. My most favorite moments were finding people who enjoyed games and talking about that for HOURS! Makes the slow moments go by quicker so that the waves of interested tippers trickle in beautifully.

Sometimes the chat can dry up if the room is listed as an English language room, but the model has limited ability (or confidence) to converse in that language.
Guys will write comments, often using slang or abbreviations, and when the model doesn't reply, they either stop commenting, or bail altogether.
I was a regular in such a room, and the model said she was going to work on improving her English, and it really helped most users be more understanding and created a lot of fun in the chat with people using simpler words/sentences, explaining stuff better and chatting about their own country, culture and lifestyle. She had some fun tip menu items linked to learning English, which helped a lot.

The best thing you can do is, besides tipping her, make sure that as much of your chat with her is done in the public chat

We (the Royal we) actually had a member in today who was chatty! It was fun: finally, someone new to talk to.

He didn’t tip much, but as a member he was polite and funny while I did the tipping.

It was fun!

I think maybe there are a lot of people like me and simply don't like to talk to others in the room.
I get put off by the mod/knight being the chatty one. Too many bad experiences from them or a lot of rooms you will get told to shut up if you try to talk and can't/don't tip (understandable, but then other rooms who don't mind you talking and WANT you to fill the void will then suffer). But too many times it's the mod/knight that is making me not want to talk because they can be TOO chatty and literally reply to EVERYTHING users say, or they themselves become too snarky and aggressive, and all in all, it just becomes easier not to talk in rooms.

If a member @‘s me I’ll reply, but it’s definitely best to leave the running of the room to model.

That said, it does depend on the room dynamic. We’ve all seen those room with plenty of Knights/mods who are all “hey bro”, “hey, bro”.

They’re usually the members who don’t tip, which is the most important thing.

There’s a particular Knight in one UK room who is the epitome of this. He is by FAR her biggest tipper/supporter and generally spends his time in the public chat belittling other members.

I tipped the model something modest like 2,500 tokens and he immediately sent me a PM calling me a “fool” and blocked me so I couldn’t reply 😂

You get some funny ones…

she needs to can his ass regardless of what he pays (IMO anyway).

I would hate it if guys were in my room pestering potentials. That is not a turn-on, for them to even be involved in the interaction, at all.
I don't fault you for feeling this way. The whole point is to have a fun, sexy experience.

Exactly.

I went back into that into room a couple of times afterwards. He was muting other members and they had to resort to anonymous tip notes to say what asshole he is and how he’s pushing other members away.

It is what is - time move on and have a fun, sexy experience elsewhere ❤️

The chatty moderators are the worst. Dudes are trying to knock one out and there's a guy gif-spamming or @-ing them constantly. Shut the fuck up if you are the moderator. Intervene only when the model is unable to do so due to circumstances (too far from the screen to read/intervene, dose of cramp, potential ban risk shit that she won't get to in time). Don't be the guy that we've all seen screenshots of in here recently. GIF, GIF, GIF etc etc

there is an art to chatting enough to make you appear interesting to others, but not overdoing it so others don't want to interrupt or get distracted, where you can't make your goals, get tips, or go to private. a lot of us have learned how to have a conversation with ourselves out loud because when you are talking, more likely that other people will talk back.

you guys will never know the pain of trying to have a conversation with a roomful of people not interacting back. oh and that room is constantly shuffling out and new people are coming in.

I pretend I just walked into a haunted house: ‘This place… it’s been abandoned for years…’
Will get you banned in my room, unless you are already a Reg, in which case it will get you a polite warning (but put you on very, very thin ice).
That doesn't help anyone out, and is very rude, as was mentioned above.

On many sites you would have no way of knowing if a rush had just hit, or who else was even in the room, or DMing at that time.
Plus if the model is split streaming they could have a full room on one site, and only a quiet room on a single site.
Very off-putting and negative.

Could also be the person that pushes a model over the edge mentally.

Exactly. I just banned a Reg for this last week. He was a low payer, who hangs around forever making shitty conversations that are unasked for, and adding in rude, thoughtless comments like that, repeatedly. The money he spends doesn't make up for the mental sabotage, whether he intends to be a total asshole, or is just socially clueless. Anyway, he's history now.

But yes, on long, tough nights, that's basically mental and emotional sabotage. It's not humorous. It's not endearing, it's just cruel and unnecessary.

If a viewer feels uncomfy in a room that they feel is quiet, or they perceive as quiet, then they should leave quietly (with class) and not project their nervousness onto everyone else. Least of all the model.
Who's probably taking the opportunity to get other work done, in a separate tab, and thankful for a short break. Until they came along rambling uncomfortably, and requiring extra attention.

Absolutely. I've logged off and cried after crap like that. I am NOT a crier by any means.
Yep, I've rage tore many people a new asshole for that. I cry very seldomly, but I have cried over cam stuff in the past too. My first response is usually anger though.
People get butt hurt at me and leave, but I bet a lot of them remember for the next girl. Which means I did my job, and fought the good fight one more night hehe.
It's just so unnecessary to be saying things like that to streamers.

This is how I feel about it as well. Hopefully me chewing a new asshole results in better treatment for the next model they visit. But you know what they say about anonymity and the internet!

sorry to keep going on, but the part that gets me is; how do they know any given model isn't split streaming to like 5 different sites? There are times my chat is going off and I can't keep up with it, so I'll just sit quietly acting the exact same as I act, if my room is empty. Because I know it always leads to one of them stepping up and getting a private faster. A model could literally be streaming to like 7 sites, and just because a guy goes in on one site and can't see others, he thinks no one is there? On SM I make everyone set chat to invisible anyway, so even if I weren't split streaming, the dude would have no clue. It's just... so silly. Anyways sorry to ramble. Hugs back, and thank you. This stuff does get super frustrating. I'm right there with you 🤍

Whoa, didn’t mean to ruffle any feathers—just having a little fun with the eerie silence! For the record, I always support the models I watch (including with tips, not just chat). My bad if it came off the wrong way! No ghost-hunting jokes in the quiet rooms, got it.

The thing is, there is literally no right way. Now if you said that to a room where 200 people were talking and 20 are tipping, I would legit laugh my ass off and think it was funny.
Noted! So the key is a minimum of 200 people talking and 20 tippers before I unleash my haunted house commentary. Got it. Time to start taking attendance in every room I enter. - No disrespect intended!
