Not sure if you knew but I too am a vaper
I've ordered most of my liquids through tastyvapor.us, my favourite is one called Geoff's Blend which is a kind of cinnamon/juicy fruit gum type thing, sounds weird but it's fantastic!
I also have German Chocolate Cake, Brownies, Bananas Foster, Banana Cream Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, Lemon Tart, Chocolate Covered Cherry, Cafe Mocha, Caramel Macchiato, Rainbow Sherbet, Atomic Cinnacide, Butter Rum, Vanilla, Cherry Cola, Chai, Tiger's Blood, Pixie Dust, Blueberry, Blackcurrent, Melon, and a bunch of Camel/Marlboro/Mild 7 type tobacco flavours.
Also Tastyvapor lets you pick up to three flavourings to combine in your own mixtures, so far I've got one that's Cherry/Caramel/Coconut and one that's Dark Chocolate/Jamaican Rum/Coffee.
Throat hit - the problem is not the liquid, it's the Ego. Egos are a great starter e-cig but they run at only about 2.7v. My Provari runs from 3-6v depending on how I set it. Basically I can adjust it depending on the flavour and how much throat I want. I believe Joye just came out with a variable voltage e-cig too that is a bit cheaper than the provari

Lastly, you'll notice on e-juice there will be listed PG/VG ratio. This is the base liquid that the flavour and nicotine is suspended in. PG offers more throat hit, VG offers more vapour (and is also thicker, more viscous). Some places will allow you to specify the PG/VG ratio you prefer (tastyvapor does), 80/20 is the most common ratio used, but some people prefer 60/40, 90/10 or even 100% PG. Takes a bit of trial and error to figure out what you like.
