I never look at the amount of tokens people have and I didn't realize models did so much until this thread. I just kinda assumed most people kept theirs hidden.

This is an odd post! Odd from my perspective because I don't think anyone would ever argue that models should be *less* grateful, but the backhanded tone of the OP seemed to invite a lot of cyclical discussion about "I appreciate tips, but not 10 token DOGGY STYLE FINGER ASS tips... but all tips are good tips, except for insulting tips" and round and round we go.

Keep in mind that when you see a girl getting tipped and not being enthused (by your personal standards) that you can't see what's written in the tip note. In my room a 20 token "love your smile" tip gets more enthusiasm than a 100 token "Bend over doggy finger ass bb" tip. To an uninformed viewer this WOULD seem confusing but it's perfectly justifiable from where I'm sitting.

I imagine that when you've got 4 guys trying to talk dirty and indicate they want a private if you do something - whilst also managing a room of x members too - it (in my members viewpoint) has to be an invaluable method of prioritising whom you interact with if you can see that info.

Tokens are bought to spend on naked ladies (you expect). If you see 10000 tokens in your room and not saying much, two things. 1) If he leaves without saying anything - he'll spend the tokens elsewhere.
Furthermore, it is entirely possible he wants the attention - why else show off your token value? He wants to feel the models chasing after him...

Having a busy room may make it un practical to look, but for some chasing a potential sale that'd otherwise leave may be a really worthwhile thing I guess that combo is why models may look

Never ever had a model not reacting appropriate to a tip.
I must be in the wrong rooms.
Just the opposite i am quite astonished how many models remember me and be nice despite my lousy tips.

I guess that's simple sum of averages You may think you tip lousy, but get 100 "lousy" tips and you may have a great nights income - so it costs nothing to remember and be nice to people, and it can therefore only have positive rewards if you are (as they may/do tip)


As for "ungrateful" models who don't say thanks for the tiniest tip - you don't have the full info, and maybe it's all down to business strategy too - but why care?

Some won't say anything - so what? If the guy feels like he's wasted his tip, he'll move on to another model who he will potentially spend his tokens upon = WIN FOR THE NEXT MODEL! Maybe other small tippers who feel their small tips won't be appreciated will likewise save up and move on to the next model too = WIN FOR NEXT MODEL!
Maybe the model herself feels that gushing over small tips encourages fewer large tips and therefore it's part of her strategy? :?
Lastly - who knows wtf they wrote in their tip note :lol: Maybe it says something like "let the dog lick ur pussy til you cum bitch". Maybe she therefore ignores them because otherwise she gives them attention she doesn't want to, or will have to find their name to ban them... Maybe saying something about it may change the atmosphere of the room as the regulars rip into the member, maybe if she ignores the sick request they tip more - or even apologise - or even just leave quietly with no further issue. WHO KNOWS?

Sadly, although I ADORE the girls I chat with (most of which visit here) and feel I can trust them to not fully look at me as a dollar sign (although with I do understand that IS a big part of the equation), I started hiding mine once I realized it was in the open. I feel bad walking into a room with tokens that I might spread across three girls that I like and having the first girl think that I'm going to spend them all there.

As for ungratefulness, it's hard out there now on both sides of the cam, for the most part. Money's stretching thinner and thinner for both the average cam girl and the average cam fan. The people that I frequent are pleasant and sweet, but I know that they are hurting on certain nights. And with talking to quite a few cam fans, I knowwww that the budgets for a lot of us are getting tight as hell. For now, we just have to:

1. Keep the tips flowing to those we enjoy whenever possible, even if not as much as before.
2. Keep having fun in chat. Fans, if you are waiting till the end of the week to get paid, please keep talking in chat -- and do NOT whine about how broke you are. It makes you seem needy. Be fun, be pleasant, thank the tippers, and keep your cam host smiling in any way possible.
3. (Cam Girls) Keep positive... A bad night or two is going to happen. Just make sure to never take it out on your regulars. They already support you 150%... don't lose that over a few non-revenue producing nights.

Once the show begins...all tips during the show should be viewed by model and tipper as encouragement and appreciation for the show you are performing. If a tipper is looking for a 'personal' thank you for their tip, there's ample opportunity to get one either before the show starts or after it finishes.

Once started, the show needs to flow smoothly so the model can get into her 'zone', and give the quality show she wants to give...to interrupt it with constant 'thank yous'....is kinda like getting a knock at the door during a :romance-threesome: ...total buzz kill.

Most tippers would understand this, the ones that don't are there for the wrong reason.

If a member has any sense they'll hide all details about tokens & reward points, nobody needs to know. I usually tip for a public show but never 100+ Tips of a hundred or more are for models on my friends list ( I want to get their camscore up). If a model ignores a tip that's just rude, unless the tip is rude (I's say under 10 is pretty rude). I'd hate a model to see I had 1000+ tokens and only tipped her 50. Keep it hidden guys!
