I have someone i like and we chat when he's not busy, then he gets busy and that's that, but that's the nature of CB.
I try to be "creative" for my viewers, but need that interaction.

Said it a couple of times before and I will keep saying it, the most effective way of making others tip, is by start tipping yourself!! it can be so effective honestly, so if people really want others to tip! they should just tip themselves

That doesn't always work. I tip someone I watch and the other purple and blue users aren't because they're getting it for free in PM. Public chat dies and if you're not in a PM you're all alone.

This really depends on which site you're on though. I know SC, Bonga and no doubt plenty more, allow you to send tips in PM, and many people like to do it this way instead of in public. So you can't see if they are getting it "free" or not.

On MFC, if someone is chatting to us in PM and they tip regular, it posts to public chat (not JUST in the private window). In order to really hide a tip it has to be set to the ninja stuff in options.

There are few things more irritating to me than another member doing running commentary in chat about what I’m tipping for, how much I’m tipping, how much more they think I should tip, etc.

Focus on the model and your own tipping.

Depends on what she means by mentally ill. I would definitely say that almost everyone who socialise have ended up on cb have some form of :

depression/learning disabilities/social difficulties/health problems.

The thing is I would say the same about lady's on cb too, lost count of how many girls have chatted to me or even brought up in public chat about the above or asked users advice about it (and yes while it Is flattering that a girl asks us about romantic advice, it is always pointed out that we really aren't the best people to discuss it with ?) I'm not saying the job causes this and I'm definitely not saying that girls choose webcaming to deal with this, but it's goes almost hand in hand it seems.

I will definitely be offended if the model you're talking about thinks all users r really "fucked in the head, crazy misogynistic cunts" though.

I do send tips and the odd pm but I only pm of its about something not wanting to bring up in chat, just to make sure lady is OK. Most of the models I truly follow r aware of current problems in my life but I've not used them as my shrink, just as like say telling a friend who's asking how u r doing.

With chat. It depends, there was a girl who just treated cb like a group forum. Her attitude was take her clothes off if and when she felt like it so the room was more chatting then anything and she did do well on the main page from just having regulars tip for company and chat. I mean she wasn't earning 10s of 1000s but certainly enough not to be worried about of income.
At least 2 ladies I follow half their income comes from regulars that just like to chat.

Just realised I'm rambling.

So since I'm a viewer AND broadcaster I may have twice the problems? ?

This looked like a new model, in a studio. The impression I got was that she lacked the confidence to intervene. Interestingly, when challenged the Dark Blue switched his colour back to dark purple to show me how much he tipped. As if that somehow justified it and excused his behaviour.

An unrelated question, is it common for broadcasters to linger in multiple PMs in CB while public chat goes dead? I find PMs distracting in my room and would rather be in public chat where people can hear me. They're often boring and I'm not good at managing 2-3 PMs and public chat.

Listen, please, really carefully. Most models wouldn't tell you that you tip offendingly low, because they don't want to lose a potentially better future tipper.
Check her menu. Check her private rate. Do your tips comply to those prices?
Calculate her earnings from your tips, roughly but realistically.

When you tip, let's say, 10 tokens, how much do you think you are tipping her? 1$? $0.50? Not even close. You are tipping her way less than that. Because you haven't considered her paying Payment Processor Fees, Currency Conversion Losses, SEPA/EFT Fees, Bank Account Maintenance Fees, TAXES. Just to name A FEW of her expenses.

So, if you view this realistically, you are throwing to that woman a few pennies, expecting gratitude and services in return.
You don't need to have a menstrual cycle to gradually build up rage and explode, experiencing the same bull ? over and over.

All tips are welcome and appreciated indeed. NOT ALL of them are reaching the minimum required from the tipper to get anything back though.

I have had more than a couple of times people tipping me while streaming on MFC, that I could not even see, not in my room (even in empty room!), not in PMs. I had no way to find out which member tipped me live on cam. Was that the ninja stuff you are talking about? Is there a "ninja" member mode for real???

Ninja settings would still show to you as the model, it just hides it completely from viewers ("Hidden Tip"). The only way that you as the model would not see the tip is if it was someone you had on the "Ignore" list. That would only show up in your token stats, but would not make a sound or be visible in your chat at all.
