I present this troll of the week award to punkindrublic  congrats man!

No way. Using typical camgirl stereotypes is not troll award worthy. It's pretty weak. Punk just regurgitates his underlying disdain for camgirls in pretty much all of his "troll" posts.

An award worthy troll trolls without you even knowing they are trolling.

Ha! Precisely what a person who wishes that they could make money just for diddling them selves, but can't would say.

With how camgirls are treating this girl on Twitter, it's not hard to see how some people might not have much nice to say about us as a whole.

I have to ask, what are you talking about?

I just went through every single @mention of her name for the past 6 days on twitter. Outside of a single interaction with Brina and a few minor troll comments there was nothing. No other models blowing up at her. Hell it was painfully boring reading.

Or i just don't follow any models who behave this way. Cause I haven't seen anything like this going on in my timeline either.

It was mostly passive aggressive "let's not mention any names but you all know who I am talking about when I shame certain body types and pontificate that MFC top 20 is an elitist club only open to certain girls and pick apart every word someone says when on cam"

Whether you agree with someone else's cam style or have a reason to have an issue with what they have said the adult way of dealing with it is very different than the mean girl bully method currently taking place. It's very disturbing to watch.

It's called subtweeting. You tweet about someone without mentioning them by name but make it clear who you're talking about. If anyone asks if that's who you're referring to you act all shocked that they'd think you'd talk about that person but throw in a "well if the shoe fits" type comment.

I honestly never realized this even went on in cam world (I'd heard about it from some teenagers I used to work with) but it's been happening a lot lately. Surprisingly often from camgirls girls consider "role models".

Honestly, whether or Not Katsumi acts like a brat or w/e the part people are forgetting is that she's 18 years old. I doubt many of us acted much better at 18, especially if all of a sudden we had like $100k dropped in our lap (and I'm sure you all will say that you were perfect at 18 and I'm sure someone in your family would happily disagree). So what we have right now is a bunch of people who are way older than her talking shit about her, bashing her, some even have said she needs to DIE. I'm not sure who the adults are any more... But I do know if I was getting the amount of harassment she's getting right now I probably wouldn't be acting to "mature" either.

I'm not gonna lie.
I saw something absolutely HORRIBLE yesterday morning (for the first time, I hadn't really seen it previously) when popping around cam rooms with my coffee that convinced me that this situation is nothing I want to be anywhere close to, from either side. There is some very toxic hate flooding through the cracks under MFC's door and it's going to come spewing out of the chimneys very quickly. I've officially moved to the hills and found peace, I suggest everyone do the same. We have running water up here but you have to agree to a job in farming.

That type of negative energy is not good for anyone. Here have a flower. :happy-smileyflower:

I didn't even get to give my acceptance speech before Camgirl rushed on stage in a Kayneesque fashion and straight jacked it from me. It's cool tho, not everyone can be an award winner.

I guess what I saw was the subtweeting, JerryBoBerry? I didn't know what subtweet meant until today. Hmm.

My feeling is that IF you SEE someone pretending to be a child on a sex site or actually sexualizing children, a decent person would just report it. We don't need to debate age play because on MFC it's not allowed. However, if you see something of that nature and your first inkling is not to report it but to hop onto Twitter and tell the world, you're a self serving asshole. Further, if you've seen nothing and you're bashing someone, you're an extra assy asshole. Also, I am very classy. Hehehe.

Yeah I guess I haven't seen any of that going on. Makes me a bit more happy about the people I follow on twitter.

Fuck I burst out laughing at this. You truly deserve an award now.

But guys, Punk is at least partly right. And so was Jerry in his OP wording. The model was acting like a brat. If I made thousands and thousands a month I would like to think an extra $100 would not matter. I assume she wanted the 3rd place crown and recognition too. I won't fault her for that. But why should we not say she was acting like a kid? She has every opportunity to come here and defend herself if she wants to. I am sure by now someone has shown her the thread and/or forum.

Punk is right about models jumping in to defend each other, even when one is wrong. I am positive at least some of you agree that this model acted horribly; there is absolutely nothing wrong in saying so. He is also right about a thread containing things models say like this being rather long (though I don't know about 1000 pages a week). I mean we ALL do it, every day on ACF. The "members say" threads are contributed to by both models and members. Hell, they are my favourites here. But we are doing the same thing there, that a few did here: saying that some guys act like idiots. And nobody gets upset about that. We all laugh and join in. What's the difference?

This banding together is not done by members, only models. I get why it happens, and I support it. But there are times when I think it would be better for some to say "Hey, that model did a really shitty thing." Isn't it better to stand up and say, "No we are not all like that"? If you want to defend your work as camgirls (and you should), then it seems to me speaking up against things like that would go much further. No, I am not saying that the model in question should be shunned or attacked or anything. But there is nothing wrong with discussing her behaviour.

PS: Punk, I applaud you for having the balls to say what I often do not have the balls to say.

PPS: Just looked at Kat's twitter page. If there are indeed guys threatening and stalking, we all should be upset about that. That behaviour is disgusting. She is a 'kid' who spoke up, perhaps without full forethought. She does not deserve that.

Someone needs to make a film about Miss MFC. I find the whole thing morbidly fascinating. It can obviously be great for models to have that friendly competition to drive them to do that little bit better than they did the month before, and it's obviously worked out fantastically well for MFC as far the extra money generated goes, but then there's... stuff like this. It just has a built-in narrative that would be perfect for a movie. There's friendly competition turning into bitter rivalry in the blink of an eye, money corrupting good(?) people, the weird but fascinating role that members/spectators play in it all, inexplicably becoming as emotionally invested in the result of a competition that exists ultimately to make a rich person that little bit richer as the models (who at least benefit directly from the competition) themselves. It's this archetypal tale with all these new offshoots to explore (member loyalties, member participation, member resentment, model's losing sight of everything in the pursuit of something that is ultimately worth very little compared to what they stand to lose). It's almost Shakespearean. "Unfurl thy bobs, forsooth"

Would one dare to say a...

Yes! :p

"Winter is coming. Please show tits"
"No. You tip nothing, Basic Snow"

The plot thickens... and your favorite cam model dies on page 879.

Jicky, I thought the same thing; that MFC had a rule against age-play. But I've searched over all the rules (from when I last posted in this thread), and I can't find ANY that say it's not allowed. Hell, I couldn't even find one that would apply to talking about sex with minors. The closest I could find was "Illegal or unsafe activity of any kind" and "Actions that may be deemed obscene in your community" are absolutely forbidden on the site whether it's actual, implied, or offered. The "implied" part is the only one that might make a difference. Because unless she's saying that she's gonna go get a minor to have sex with (while on the site????), I don't think their rules quite cover it.

However, it's still out of my comfort zone, so I don't watch her. But like I said before, if they get enough reports, maybe MFC will do something about it.

As much as I'd like to say it was. It wasn't. Tweetdeck. Make a column with @mentions for anyone. Every tweet with that in it all in one place, simply scroll down and read. There weren't that many really. Took less than 5 minutes.

so, I read through this thread, right, (and i'm probably a bit late and all of this has probably been said by other parties, but yolo) and I'm pretty surprised at how not-shit-talky it is.

For the past few weeks, all I've seen on Twitter is just pure shit talk for both models and members. Crazy obsessed members, and models.

I don't really watch Katsumi or Kickaz, but this drama is absurd as all hell. People are raggin' on Kat for being tiny, not being "well-endowed", for her voice, her personality, her reactions to shit talking. Whatever.

Whether you like a model or not, ofc shit talking her is probably gonna get some reaction: she's new. she's doing well. people are upset about this. you tell her somebody is talking shit, she's never experienced this before - how else is she gonna handle it besides being loud about it?

It's bad enough that other premiums kept pushing the drama (especially obsessed weirdos on Twitter who tweet about her being awful 24/7), but the fact that some other models got involved and started saying shit too is just awful. Why make things worse, rather than help her realize/learn that there's better ways to handle rude people? The same models and members who say they hate drama continue to feed it.

I fully expect members to spread shit, but when it comes to models (especially experienced models), nobody should be talking shit no matter how well/worse or how differently a model does things. rather than informing the masses on twitter about what you think of somebody (and start shit loads of drama), why not let them know privately or in a fashion that doesn't cause extreme drama diarrhea.

if a model found her niche, and she can easily cater to that niche; whatever a member's reason for liking that niche is, let them like it. a tipper is a tipper. neither of them should be criticized, unless they actually do something inherently wrong.

lemme just finish this with something I tweeted earlier:
The amount of subtweeting about MFC models by other models is absurd. telling someone to grow up & stop shit talking...by shit talking. gg.

or something
i need coffee

I suppose, even through my raging award envy, making this thread about punk would be appropriate…...I mean after all...the thread title would still fit...;)

BT Dubs...my response in this thread had more to do with Red's reaction to members and models thinking he was a bit rude...or specifically, the "psychosis" and "tiny brains" of models who didn't like what he had to say. It really had little to do with the actual model or his opinion of her.
