Wait, are you saying that a model online without being on cam in her room still has camscore degradation? I assumed it was only if on-cam - otherwise I can't see the point of hanging as a premium over your model account (unless of course you want to have your cam on whilst chatting to folks?).
I do love the fact that some models think this is awful. The site is about "you"... The site is where you "work", but the site is for the members
They're the ones who are
paying everyone (models and site owners alike!) - so therefore catering to the
members is as important as to the models
As for the rooms, I imagine they work on the principle that it makes a "community". They're providing for more than just watching ladies naked - they're moving into creating chat rooms which cater and give reason to visit the site
other than pure porn. Yes, people used to go to chat rooms simply to talk to strangers from around the world - without naked women. I'm pretty sure it's all about keeping people on the site more, or longer, than they currently do. You can, as premiums, make "friends" if you're inclined, and shoot shit about stuff in the way models despair and moan about because it's not all about them (when in their rooms).
Yes, you can do this via PM, but again - you tried having a multi-way convo by PM? Utterly stupid...it's either a models room, or lounge.
So now you can come and chat with folks you like or get on with, even if models you want to watch aren't online.
Will it cause people to spend less? I don't quite see
how people will spend less. Since when has anyone had to pay other than for group and private? They can go into your room and watch without saying anything anyway! They can watch from lounge without speaking to you - so how the heck can this possibly mean they'll
tip less than previously? If they want to talk to a model, they go to her room. If they want to tip the model, they go to her room... I just don't get the "they'll spend less" idea.
As for sharing links of model videos - I've never seen link sharing. Then again, I rarely go into the lounge.
The only difference I think they should make... is to make the chat rooms for Premium 1000+ only. At least they've proven they stay and spend, unlike the plethora of $20 premiums who are worse than basics (imo!).
