I consider camming a job, since I do it to in order to support myself.
It's not a conventional job where you have a dictator, schedule, etc... but considering the risks we take and the things we have to deal with; we deserve to have more freedom and choices than a regular job offers. It takes a lot of balls to sit in front of your computer talking to hundreds of faceless people, to possibly humiliate yourself in front of strangers.
Honestly, I used to look down upon cam girls and would say it's not a real job (before I did it, of course) because I looked at it as a lazy "way out". But after doing some research I decided that I was the fool for choosing to bust my ass for peanuts. How was I going to move forward when I had no spare time or money? Now I HAVE the time to go back to school and to pursue the things I've had to put on hold. Camming is the best job I've ever had
