Camsite gave me a models personal info

I was speaking with sasha_sinnn on Twitter for the first time today asking her about one of her Tweets. She posted a picture of a screen cap that had pms along side the chat (I had never seen that before) and I had a question about the pm settings. We started talking back and forth on Twitter and she invited me to cam with her and had a great show idea as we have a common 420 interest. She showed me a picture of her MaryJane flowers and invited me to play in her garden which I thought was kind of her. I told her we should Skype and get better aquainted. She then told me I should sign up at eyes live cams and to call "Bill" the owner. She told me that it is a brand new site that he has not launched yet and that the first 30 models to sign up get 80% and I should jump on it. I called for information and there was no answer, I did not leave a message. I asked her if he had an email. I then get a phone call from from the number I dialed and the phone call was extremely awkward. His name was "Brandon" and the converstaion went something like this (First words out of his mouth)
Him-"Ya, hi I just entered you into the system and your approved"
Me-"Hi, Im calling for Bill"
Him-"This is Brandon, your approved"
Me-"Brandon? No, Im calling for Bill in regards to the camsite"
Him-"No Im Brandon, I dont know where *Jane Doe got the name Bill" *Im calling her Jane Doe but he gave me her real name (WTF)
Me-"Im approved? Wait, Im confused I havent even told you anything. Let me clarify with her and I might give you a call back"
Him_"Im sorry I am dropping my kids off at school so I can't hear you that well but yes you are approved I put you in the system"
Me-"Ok. Again I am still pretty confused as I said before let me clarify things with her and I might call you back you should get back to taking your kiddos to school"
Him-"You know what never mind"
Me-"um, ok."
End of conversation. At this point Im all weirded out that he gave me her real name. He had no right to do that because if she wanted me to know her real name she would have told me herself. If he leaked her name on accident then I question his professionalism. I would not join a camsite that gave out my name so easily.
I told sasha_sinnn about what happened and that I find it sketchy he gave me her name. I told her so that she knew. Then I get a text from him!? Now Im just annoyed, mostly at myself now for calling a total stranger with my real number. Idiot move on my part. Lesson learned. Here is a picture of the text he sent. He then calls her Sasha which goes with her camname lol. I did not respond. I went to message her again and she unfollowed. "we're gunna pass" lol The sketchy part was him telling me her name not the whole name mishap! This is weird and creepy.

I still haven't figured out which would be worse. For fuck's sake their Dutch site had Lorem Ipsum on it.

I was informed via text at 6:54am by Sasha that she had given my number to a model and if that was ok? I reply "sure thats ok." Only because I trust Sasha and we've established a close working relationship. So I immidiately log on as admin, verify age and approve her at %80. This all being done while getting 4 children ready for school across town. Not more 10 minutes later I get a call from "jackie". With a toddler in one hand I attempt to answer call to no avail as it fell out of my hands and dropped call (literally). So I call the number back to let her know that I had approved her at %80 and she ok to start broadcasting if she'd like. She then says I was told your name was Bill to which I replied no sorry Sasha had mistaken my name. And I had said Sashas name by accident do to our close working relationship (which I apologized greatly and is very unprofessional of me). Now by this point "Jackie" came of very rude and with sarcastic tone says "ok well you go ahead and take your kiddos to school and I might call you back." As to which I replied "actually you know Im ok." I apologize for that. Now we have a bigger issue now. Since youve decided to post my conversasion on this forum with my number and my name I would like if you would please take it down. I dont care if you need to vent, but show some respect and please remove it. And I would also like to apologize to Sasha Sinnn, she was only trying to help and make some money. She doesnt deserve to be attacked in anyway shes a very warm and trustworthy person. I can admit when I am wrong, and I acted very unprofessional and I apologize publically. Thank you very much.

Eyeslivescam, I am sorry about posting your phone number. I did not know it was your personal number. I did not second guess posting the pic with your number because I thought I was calling a company. When I had first called I asked to speak to Bill like Sasha had said. Sasha is a very warm person and a delight to talk to. I do not know of Sasha being attacked. I am yet again confused how when you logged on as admin and verified my age. I gave you no information. Can you tell me how you verified my age? I posted this because I thought it was strange. By posting your name and number I meant no harm. I was just confused that's all and shocked about the name slip, I did not mean to be sarcastic. On the contrary I was trying to be polite. Best wishes.

Yes, she gave you my personal number as we have been communicating so much and at odd hours I just decided it would be ok that she could call or text me if she had any questions or comments as we are a new site, and were trying to dedicate ourselves to make the best platform for models and the users. Now I actually thought you and Sasha had known eachother and had done a show together in the past, there is another model that she had sign up and she notified myself that she would be doing shows together, and all I needed was to make sure she was of age. So as soon as she texted me this am I had anticipated your request and logged on as admin, saw your drivers liscence and changed the rate at which you would be making thru our site (%80). And approved your application so you could broadcast once you went through and set up your profile and what not. So in my head I thought that we were all kind of on the same page, and again I do apologize for the confusion its a bit stressfull for me around that time. So what I should have done is waited till I got to the office to contact you. But I really feel bad for Sasha, she had told me about a contest she had entered with miss Lollipop and she was now disqualified due to this misunderstanding so thats what I meant as far as her character being attacked. I just want to clear the air, apologize and hope she can be re-entered into the contest. Again I truly am sorry the inconvience to all parties involved. You are mistaken about verifying me. I called for information about your new site. I never gave you my personal information. You most certainly do not have my drivers license. I never filled out an application. Whose information you approved was not me.

Her character wasn't attacked, and this situation and her reaction to it was not the only reason I decided to remove her from the competition. She was not removed for anything YOU did. I've spoken to sasha and explained why I don't think she's a good fit for it. I wish her the best.

I'm not going to go into detail here, but I would just remind everyone that the competition involves me hosting someone at my home, and agreeing to work with them. If I'm uncomfortable hosting that person in my home or working with them for any reason, it's in both of our best interests if she doesn't participate in the competition.

I agree that this was a misunderstanding. My advice would be to verify who you are speaking with before continuing with the conversation. First with the nickname and then with the real name. Sasha was a delight to tweet with and that is nice that you have a close personal relationship with her. That being said one should be more mindful of personal information, myself included because I unintentionally violated your privacy by posting what I thought was your business phone number.

Doesnt sound very professional at all. If this "Confusion" would happen, and there is clearly no regulation on approving models, how safe do you think your password is in his database? Are they taking the right "professionalism" in keeping your personal data safe? What makes him not take that password and start logging into all your camsites since I am sure a lot of us dont use 20 different passwords.

No way in hell I would trust a site that is approving models on the fly from a cellphone. At this point he will be shut down for accepting minors in any case...

Hi, my reply to this post is long overdue. First of all, from seeing this post, people have started to believe that I'm a fake, since I'm posting this with model status, I think it can be safely said that I'm not a fake. I got mixed up in a situation that was a big misunderstanding. Enough has been explained that I think everyone on here can make their own judgments, and already have. However, I did want to explicitly say that I'm not a fake model. Though I may have been naive about the site, I'm a new model and trying to earn as much money as I can from this business and if I see an opportunity to help other models as well I'm not afraid to. I did not intend for my generosity to backfire. Thank you.

Neither of us had bad intentions. For what it's worth I can assure everyone that despite the mix-up, Sasha is warm and kind. Being a fake never crossed my mind. I love that she is super motivated. We models have to stick together :romance-grouphug: We're both new and I don't mind a couple missteps.
