Every rare occasion I search for porn, I remember why I don't watch porn. Everything is so targeted toward men.

I agree completely. I'm a guy and it is actually very insulting to me, the degree to which most (not all) *mainstream* 'vanilla' porn is overtly sexist. It's just my personal preference, but professional 'studio' porn has always been very off-putting to me. It's cartoonish, garish, and silly. And then there's a dark side to it...

There's a big philosophical discussion about mainstream porn that has polarized the 'thinking world' for years now: the hyper-exaggerated, objectifying pornography out there illuminates something very disturbing about a lot of men. It reminds me of when Donald Trump ran for president and people LOVED the racist and sexist commentary, albeit anonymously. It was like he was appealing to the secret, dark psyche of millions of Americans. Some porn is eerily similar- a lot of women being totally objectified and TONS of guys secretly loving it because it appeals to a very misdirected and misogynistic perspective on women and femininity.

This might not be the popular opinion, but there's something wrong when millions of men fantasize about treating women like crap. And I don't mean in a dom/BDSM manner (heck, I'm in a 24/7 dom/sub relationship and couldn't be happier). It's just shitty morals. I've met a lot of young men who grew up on porn and don't understand the difference between being dominant/taking control and straight up abuse. Mainstream porn can really screw with people that way.

I much prefer old porn to new. It followed a formula, but there was more creativity and more variation. For instance the threesome double-penetration scene in The Devil in Miss Jones (which has passable acting) in which the woman gets off by making the two guys get off on each other's presence.

The old porn is sexist as hell but it get so over-the-top that it is silly.

There's a scene in a 60's porn film (sorry, I can't recall the name), where two guys discover an unconscious woman in the woods.
