Hey all. There's a thread in the Model's Only section regarding Chaturbate. However, I know it's not a site limited to female models. So I was gonna see if the greater wide world of ACF would like to offer insight and opinions as to this particular camsite.

Now I've not been camming long. I started on MFC, did SM for a bit, and dabbled with C4S and ELM. I primarily just hang out on CB now, mostly because my other half Rooster really wanted to cam with me. So, we make a fair amount together, and we are combined able to reach a daily goal in a reasonable amount of time. Our primary income so far is camming, even though we have other jobs.

So, my questions for you guys, models and members alike:

What is your favorite app? Why?
How do you generally structure your shows?
Do you perform in public? If not, how far do you go in public?
Models: What are your rules, regarding PM privilges, Mod privileges, etc?
If CB is the main site you cam on, why do you prefer it over other sites?

I am still trying to understand the whole functionality of the apps and bots. It seems so different than MFC and I'm so comfortable with MFC. My topic the other night in Chaturbate I guess wasn't like other users ? LOL. I tried reading into them more tonight while off cam and it seems like the apps are nice to have. I saved the general countdown app to my favorites because I think it automatically deducts the tips from your goal each time you're tipped. I could be totally wrong though.

I've had a few regulars ask me about doing crazy ticket. I think I want to try it after reading about your success with it. How long do you make these. Cause I'm thinking if I sold tickets for a set amount, probably like 25-50 cause i'm not a big draw, and I only got like 5 guys, i wouldn't want to to a loooonnng show because that is no money. I wanna know what others think of this.

I don't do CT often, but I wait until I have a substantially larger room than normal and I clarify how long the show will be and calculate the time of offering the show + the show compare it with how many tickets I've managed to purchase and see if it's more than what I average in an hour.

I'll give you an example of the last one that I had-
I build up my room, now I'm going to sell tickets for the show for 40-45 minutes. (at this point the only major tokens I'm receiving is for ticket sales and nothing more)
I have stated that the show will run between 10-15 minutes, this gives me enough time to do what I plan to do, and restate this enough during the sale so there is no confusion, or put it in your topic.
Total time to operate the show is roughly 1 hour. Whatever I generally average an hour I definitely want to make more because I have a bigger audience for CT.
So now you can play around with how much you set the ticket price. Say I average 1500 tickets an hour & normally a 10 minute PVT is 900 tkns, it's a good bargain for the member since they don't have to pay for 900 tkns for the 10 minutes, So am I going to set the ticket price at 100 tokens and get 20 members? Or since my room is large enough I can set it to 50 and get 40 members to join?

For me averaging out my "hourly" pay helps me with a lot of calculations, and I treat Crazy Ticket as a prized offering. Choose how much you want to make realistically, cause you know your worth! And if you do longer shows have the the mentality to have a larger pay for your performance. What I like about Crazy Ticket is the option to extend some more time if I need just a wee bit more to get to my goal. Best of luck to you, I was nervous for my first one and had to learn the commands as I went, but having a trusted mod definitely helped me as well.

In my opinion CB seems like an overall simpler platform to use and work with. I was also referred to it by a friend who's fairly popular. In terms of a couple of your questions..... Mods: I generally use a mod that ive seen modding for other top models. Therefore they have proven themselves to me and how they operate. I watch them and see if they have what it takes. Kinda lame i guess but it seems like its worked so far. Also, they must be active tippers and keep the show moving. And as goes for the structure of my shows I typically use a tip goal to initiate a cumshow which I then use a crazyticket app.

I like it alot though I haven't done any camming previously I was an exotic dancer and it beats the hell out of touching strangers. lol I'm married and he's getting in into it also. I have questions and more questions but Im scared to trust anyone on chaturbate especially "professional mods". I a couple account PM my 1st day with helpful tips and seemed genuine but then they wanted my account info to do my profile and apps and bots and I graciously declined. I don't play with my money and it just seemed weird to me. Who do you guys go to for questions because CB support is kinda slow when it comes to questions and I have googled and googled things to no avail. I really wish their was a performers handbook that had all the insider info. Like Google analytics. Can run in on my chaturbate profile or no? Im jst curious at to what and where my audience is to make better money. lol

That's creepy/weird! Yeah uhhh NO. Never let Greys become a mod, and especially someone that's never tipped. I've had three different situations where guys have modded for me, and either became super obsessive/aggressive/needy ... And they wanted freebies. Be super careeful while modding... And at times it's just best to not have a mod and to turn off the Greys. And obviously never let anyone have access to any of your accounts. No, no, no. As far as getting all the other questions answered... I guess just get model verified... I know I'll be doing that pretty soon and I know that will help a shit ton. But congrats on joining Chaturbate! I hope you love it

New here and on CB, but I've dabbled with cam shows on and off since 2012...
Just within the last few months have I decided to make "Cammin" my main source of income.
I've been on CB for about 5 or 6 weeks and what I do works for me, but certainly might not for others.

I'm more the strong silent type, so I hardly ever talk. I mainly use my strong sensual masculine nature to work my magic.
I'm not really into using all the apps and bots as I feel it takes away from the candid aspect I like to project. If I notice tippers battling naturally for my attention, then I'll turn on the King Tipper app, but the pvt's make the most $$..

As far as mods go, I agree with a lot of the older comments on not trusting grey's and going with the more trusted tipping type's.
Anyhow, just my 2 cents and greetings to everyone, stay smilin!

I really don't know how to feel about this but I'm semi interested in using Chaturbate, I'm a bi-sexual guy and I'm 18, I feel like I'm into a lot more weird things that people would like to see. But I don't know what people want to see, confidence is another problem but I just want to know a bit more about the site at the moment, I went through guy cams for an hour or more and couldn't find anyone who talked at all, they just type and I don't understand why. For straight guys doing different things may not be possible. But literately nobody talks lol, I went into a guys channel to ask the chat why people don't talk, I also asked why guys don't have goals or do fetish's nor any kind of requests. When I asked the guy stopped masturbating to ban my ass so it's clearly a sensitive topic for some people. I guess not everyone is there to enjoy it so that's another factor. I'm interested because I think I would enjoy it ^^

One other thing, my internet isn't the greatest. As in my internet sucks! Only 0.5 upload speed. It's probably the biggest problem here but I thought I'd ask anyway.

So any advice or information would be much appreciated and hopefully I've got the balls to give it ago, ahahahah I'm so funny )

I love chaturbate! I've used a number of different bots and apps. I like to use auto-reset tip goal, ultrabot, hitachi torture, and token keno, and rotating notifier! I've been trying to branch out because I feel like I've been in a lull this past week.

I cam mostly solo and do all of my shows public. I only do a crazy ticket show when I'm online with my boyfriend. The turn out is pretty great. I can imagine it will only get better the more followers I get.

I have a few mods. I guess I was lucky enough to be approached by someone who was truly interested in helping me and has been my mod since day one. I also mod people who I've gotten to know. NEVER tip anyone who asks. Especially gray. I once let someone mod because he promised me he could get me tips within ten minutes and if he didn't then I could unmod him. He then said no tips = no talking and silenced anyone who posted in the chat and didn't tip. After I removed his mod status he insulted me in tip notes until I kicked him out of the room. Never making that mistake. I don't like to PM because I think it takes away from the public chat. I do charge for PM's to help with that.

I do only broadcast on chaturbate for now. I have a profile set up with MFC but haven't broadcasted yet. I'm kind of nervous about it. I've noticed that chaturbate gets the most traffic from any other sites and there isn't so much competition involved without cam scores. It's simple to use! I do wish there was a way to message members directly outside of my own broadcast though.

One thing that chaturbate could fix is the model verification screen. I find it confusing, you have the agreements section then the submitted id's part. However if the model id is not accepted it lists

Yes , my point the verification page is ugly and becomes even worse and more confusing if you have to re-submit id's multiple times. especially in accounts that have multiple models

They have to Tip a certain amount to PM I pick the mods I want not just based off of "Make me a Mod Pls" and most of the time its people who are loyal and show respect to not only me but users in the room.

I enjoy chaturbate alot I started on another site and i didnt like the way they favored other models and it seemed like it was all a sham, with other camming sites they put you on the main page you interact with tons of people (traffic) and people are considerate to your rules. I also enjoy camming on Streamate the only thing i dislike about SM is that you cant promote your social networking sites.

I really like the "No grey graphics" bot. I actually set it to block all graphics, and yay, no weird cock emotes in my chat!

I use the auto-renew goal app, with each goal being 25 tokens. Each goal gets a flash, and when I'm 1/4 of the way to my cumshow, I get topless. At 1/2, I get naked.

I don't do mods at all. During my countdowns, I don't have a problem keeping my room in check, and when it's time for a cumshow, I set it so that only people who've tipped that day can chat, which keeps trolls and distractions out.
As for Pm privileges, it's pretty much only for discussing a private, or if a finsub wants to chat a bit and be commanded to tip. If someone says that they don't have sound, I tell them to grab some headphones.

I think the 2 biggest things that new models need to consider are having patience and being interactive. As a new model, are you going to encounter a bevy of freeloaders and people that just immediately turn you off? In a word, probably. Building a fanbase takes time. What you can do on your end is decide what your limits are and decide what kind of audience you want to cater to. When you have that figured out, you know what your cam identity is. Utilizing that, you can get an idea of who in your room is receptive to that and you can start to sort of mould your shows around your cam identity and what those fans of yours are looking for. Interact with your fans. I find that the most dedicated of fans don't just want to see your "goodies", but legitimately want to spend time with you and get to know you as well as your personal boundaries allow them to.

I guess I should have clarified is the reason I was confused is that I already have camming experience and felt like I was doing everything I do on MFC the same kinda stuff and still nobody. Also just thought that maybe new model status was supposed to bring in traffic. Either way I gave up CB. Tried it two more times and didn't even make a cent.

Ohh! My mistake. Hell, I don't know enough about what goes into "new model" status between the two. I don't even know if "new model" is as big a thing on CB as it can be on MFC. I mean, you get a "new" tag on CB, but there's no camscore. At any rate, it sounds like you've got things well in hand and I apologize if I came off like I was trying to "school" you or whatever. I assure you that wasn't my intention. I was just trying my best to help. Cheers!

Maybe I am wrong, but seems chaturbate goes in a bit wrong way. In last period they banned many accounts. Some of those people been normal users for years, with normal behavior, I'm one of them too. Reason for my ban is someone's report as underage user (I'm not underage). My account was not verified because I didn't know I must to do that and I'm not interested in tokens. I liked to spend my time there with people what I meet there. When I asked support some questions they answered me with some kind of automatically answers such as read this, do this.
I think they should make some other way to solve those problems, not only one way, as age verification. In age verification they ask for too private data and I'm not ready to send them my private datas of my ID and my photo, even if I want to send them I haven't nothing to make good photos now (I know guy who tried to make age verification, after few tries on the end he give up). Maybe they should make some other option, without all this data and easier for people who are not interested in tokens and all this things. Also they maybe need forum like this for communication between users and administration.
