It was exactly what I thought it was gonna be, which is a little depressing. The first ladder match was really good, the last one was really good until the over-booking kicked in and Dean Ambrose inexplicably jobbed to a TV. Ambrose looks dumb, Wyatt looks lucky, the crowd are sent home annoyed at the stupidity of it all, nobody benefits.
Cena meanwhile carries on a long tradition of working with young guys with a bit of momentum behind them and sets them back six months by making them look like an ineffective joke. It took Rollins the help of two other guys and the ref missing the first time he lost the match just to get a draw against Superman John Cena. And then after all the cheating and being made to look incapable of winning by himself, he lost anyway. And all to set up a match at the Royal Rumble that we've already seen three times since Brock came back.
The tag match didn't get a proper finish, Rowan got unceremoniously jobbed out to Big Show, AJ is probably gone from the company after tonight, Rusev and Swagger was treated as filler, and Kane and Ryback stunk the place out.
I just hope that all the praise that NXT is getting doesn't cause Vince and co. to take an active interest in it, because it's becoming patently clear that Vince no longer knows how to put together a decent wrestling show.
