Anyone got it yet? A lot of the content still isn't working and it took about three hours of trying to sign up before I could even access it but assuming it works properly (and continues to work properly in the UK via proxies) it looks like it's money well spent. All that content (every WWE/F, WCW/NWA and ECW PPV, every episode of RAW, Smackdown, Nitro, Hardcore TV, etc., documentaries, original content and so on) PLUS monthly PPVS starting with WrestleMania (which cost us £14.95 a month in the UK and at least double that in America) for £6/$10 a month = bargain.

The live streaming on PS3 works fine but the on-demand stuff wasn't working earlier. Hopefully it'll be sorted by tomorrow. I'm digging it so far though. They showed WrestleMania I earlier on the live stream in HD and it looked surprisingly great. They're doing pre (and post) shows for RAW too.

Only reason I would consider getting this is for the "WWF Attitude" stuff and the ECW shows and PPV's. But knowing WWE, they'll censor all the harsh language and replace all the entrance theme's with shitty, generic music.

Language/violence is intact, music's subject to copyright so some of it's dubbed, some of it's not.

Since I heard about this Mr. C and I have been considering it. I believe he's getting some trial for it sometime this week. Stoked to test it out. Will report back.

If you're on the fence, I'd recommend waiting a few days before signing up for the trial. There's still a bunch of stuff on there that's not working as it should, so if you were to start the trial today, you won't get a full seven days of having access to everything.

That's exactly what I plan on doing, because I'm not completely sold on getting it yet. I would like to try it though. I've never bothered paying for a PPV before, so why not start with Wrestlemania 30.

If tonight is half as awkward and entertaining as the hall of fame, Wrestlemania will be great.

Glad they chose Brock to end the streak, crowd was priceless. Great show overall.
Ahhhhh! dude! :crybaby: I really wish I hadn't read that! Not gonna be watching mania till tommorow because I'm still catching up with previous Raw's. Didn't expect to see something like that here, seeing how this is about the WWE Network, lol. Oh well, nevermind. Hopefully it's a better match than last year with Punk. So sick of the likes of Cole & Lawler saying how close Punk got to ending the streak. Were they watching the same match-up?? He got no-where near as close as HBK & HHH did

^Yo sorry. Match was pretty bad tbh and commentary was pretty bad all night but still a solid show.
No worries dude. So no 'this is awesome' chants during the night? Would be suprised if there wasn't for at least one of the match-ups.

Only chant I can think of was during the Cena Vs Cult leader guy match but it was a really good one so I won't ruin it.

I missed it all, because I had to work. I'll have to watch again sometime.

I'm glad I ran across this.

I've been on the fence with it, and to be honest I haven't watched a whole lot of wrestling ever since the Chris Benoit tragedy. Though, I have been following Daniel Bryan and the reactions this kid gets are amazing, especially for the shitty booking they've put him through.

I feel like I should get the WWE network in response for them putting the strap on Daniel.

Other thought about the streak: I'm glad Undertaker did the 'right' thing by putting someone else over, but I wish it was someone who could have capitalized on it more. (ie a non-part timer and younger). My guess would have been someone like Roman Reigns next year. About the only thing they can do now is have Brock go on a killing streak, and then have another face end it and 'avenge' undertaker's loss. I'd still go with a babyface Roman or Daniel Bryan for that.

RIP Warrior. Pretty fucked up, dude seemed fine last night.
Although watching his speech from Monday Night Raw, there were a couple of time he seemed to act like he wasn't feeling well. Maybe that's just me.

Shit. Did not see that coming. I was a huge Warrior fan growing up. Dood has said a lot of stuff over the years that kind of tainted my childhood memories of him but 54 is no age to be leaving a wife and two young kids behind. I'm glad he got to connect with the fans one last time with the HOF induction and the (now eerily prescient) RAW promo.
If you've never seen it before and have the Network, I highly recommend his match with Randy Savage from WrestleMania VII. Just a masterclass in storytelling from start to finish.

I understand the WWE Network is having a tribute show for him tonight (Wed.) at 8:00 pm EDT.

Rise, thread... RISE!

Last week, on a whim, I decided to pass a little time watching some of the Ultimate Warrior Ultimate Collection on Netflix, and I ended up sitting there for seven hours, watching the entire thing. That Wrestlemania VII "retirement" match with Randy Savage was incredible! I even got a little misty at the end. So much nostalgia washing over me.

And with that, I was suddenly a fan of wrestling again, after about a dozen years. I decided to look at what WWE material was on offer from Amazon Prime (none) and Hulu Plus (TONS!) Needless to say, given the fact that there's years of material on offer from Hulu, I've spent all week watching hours of the backlog of RAW, Smackdown, and Superstars. Last time I watched wrestling with any regularity was during the WCW/NWO days, when Nitro was about 90% talk and pay-per-view promos. I've been surprised and delighted to see just how much actual wrestling goes on on RAW and Smackdown! It's been so much fun!

When I was a kid, I was a huge wrestling fan, and I never got to be able to see a pay-per-view event. The WWE Network's deal would mean I'd finally be able to fulfill a childhood dream, which to me seems like a pretty damned good deal, so I'm seriously considering getting the subscription for WWE Network, starting at 1982, and working my way up. Can I assume that the technical kinks have been worked out over the last six months? Is the stream as reliable as Netflix/Hulu/Amazon?

Last Sunday was Night of Champions PPV, and the number of buffers I had to endured was reduced dramatically. The buffering was the only problem I had.

I'm lucky when it comes to streaming PPVs and such. Never have a problem with it. I very rarely get a point where the quality goes to shit for a couple of seconds, but that's it.

In terms of the Network as a whole, I absolutely love it. I watched the Triple H doco yesterday and it was extremely interesting to watch.

That new Monday Night Wars show is great, most recent episode focused on ECW's involvement. Bret Hart not wanting to drop the belt was kinda shady, would have done the same thing if I was Vince.

Alright, I treated myself to a six-month subscription. I'm pretty stoked. I even bought a new tv today, so I could watch the matches with 21st Century technology.

Yeah. I've always liked the guy, and in Wrestling with Shadows, it painted the situation far more in Bret Hart's favor, but how can it possibly be seen as kosher to bring the championship belt to another club, even if it was just ceremonially?

Wrestling politics is some crazy cutthroat stuff. All those Alpha Male egos in one place, and here's McMahon, who's so ambitious that he's managed to create a real monopoly within his lifetime, and then play it all in caricature for entertainment value. It's kinda mind-blowing.
