Why did you go premium? Poll

I saw a post in the let basics talk thread that said the poster went private because they met someone they really wanted to talk with. I was a basic for less than one night, because I wanted to see Eugenia dance naked. So I would really like to know why other people felt moved to pull the trigger and go premium. I am using a poll in the hopes that the lurking members who never talk will contribute to the discussion. I realize your reasons may have changed over time, but this thread is about that first impulse and what it was.

No that is what the freeloader slot is for. If you never went premium, but still want to participate in a poll about why you went premium you can.

I was on MFC for about a day and a half before I went in the room of the model that made me go premium. It was about 1 day more as a basic until I pulled the trigger because I thought she was awesome and wanted to talk to her and be part of the room conversation.

It was pure accident that I landed on MFC, I was searching for a place called Spy Cams. Anyway, I thought I would check it out. After looking at two or three different models I ended up in Starz room. I loved the way she talked to everyone and was just being herself! It only took a minute to grab a credit card and go Premium.

I joined MFC as a premium the same day I was told about it by a model friend from Streamate. She quit a studio and wanted a fresh start by moving to MFC. She ended up quitting all together a few weeks later.

When I first discovered webcams I spent a few week visiting a site with only 2-3 active models (I can't remember the name). I learned about the site from a TV show I saw on Showtime in Canada. Then I found ImLive and spent 6 months or so there, then I moved on to Streamate for maybe a year and a half, then I joined MFC (January 2011) which is by far the best site of them all. No regrets going premium at all...

My desire to become Premium started my first visit to the site, not being able to participate in the conversation was annoying. It was still entertaining, though. I didn't end up becoming premium for 2 weeks after I found the site, I was very broke at that point. I was very excited to have my first tokens. First model I tipped banned me 5 mins later, LOL.

I spent a lot of time visiting different rooms and watching the interactions between the models and their regulars. It was completely different than the idea I had in my head of what a camsite was. Basically, I always thought it was some foreign girl sitting there waiting for people to take her to a private show. One night on MFC changed that. Really the first model's room I went to changed that. I pretty much had 3 faves at the time I joined up, TattGoddess, EmmyLove, and GoddessZoey. I became regulars in Tatt's and Emmy's room's but Zoey went on a cruise or something right when I was going to become a premium and I ended becoming invested in other room's during that timeslot.

I stumbled onto MFC via 4chan. Someone had posted a link and whilst I knew cam sites existed, I had never actually bothered to check one out. I'm not big into porn, why would I bother with a cam site? Anyway, curiosity got the better of me on this occassion and I had a look. I won't mention any names, but I clicked through a few of the models on the front page and couldn't see the appeal of the site.

Ended up finding OhMySTARZ' room, and she wasn't on cam. I noticed the other people in the room were talking to each other and joking with each other, something that wasn't as present in the other rooms, so I stook around for a moment. Starz came back on cam smiling and laughing. I stayed. I found her to be funny, intelligent, beautiful and really good 'company'.

I enjoyed talking to her, and I picked up on the room in-jokes and stuff quickly and felt like the room suited me.

I never intended to sign up as a premium but a couple of days later after I had come back every night and enjoyed my time in her room, I premium-suited-up.

I guess it was more of a riddle because she didn't realize who I was one of her regulars started asking questions about "why that poem, what does it mean?" The lightbulb finally came on in front of a good hundred or so people and it totally made my day to see her smile. She never did out me to the room but it was very satisfying to see her amusement.

My first impulse to go premium was to figure out how to answer all those questions new premiums kept asking me about how the site works.

Sadly, I wasn't able to find the money to go premium for a long long time.

Luckily, back when AlexLady and I were gonna do a group-to-group show (it never happened, our schedules never matched up ) I emailed MFC to let them know what was going on, and bam! I got premium status without ever spending a penny O.O (the group-to-group show hinged on the idea that we would both be able to be in the other girl's group show, so it would be like cam-to-cam with spies. *sigh* would've been so wonderful!)

Eventually, I did buy a token package just to feel legit, cause I felt kinda bad about having tricked my way in like that. Hence, I am, to this day, a $20 prem. But then again, I don't perv much.
