They sent out newsfeeds and a model news update earlier this month apologizing, and leo did apologize in the #1 room the other night...

I saw the newsfeed thing...but that was after the third or fourth time the site went down...and I acknowledged the fact that Leo said something in JennyBlighe's room and was thankful she tweeted about it, but I just don't think that's enough. SM is the example I cite as being very involved and going above and beyond--when the site was struggling, they were emailing, messaging, and even upped payout percentages. I don't expect that, by any means, but seriously...those two things really aren't enough, imo.

It would not be good business to say if you were getting DDos attacked, could scare away customers, but what I have heard might be a move in the right direction for the recordings bots, if its true. If someone has an excessive amount of rooms open, the account gets blocked. So these bots that sit in every room and autorecord when model logs won't work any more.

Ever wonder why there is always that one basic sitting in room even if the model takes a week off?

Just guessing

It's never gonna be a good thing to admit that your IT systems are vulnerable to any specific type of external attack, which could lead to disruption of your business. To do so publicly, would dent consumer confidence, pulls traffic away and will ultimately lose you money. MFC ain't that daft! That being said, they also didn't need to wait for 3 days before finally admitting that there was an issue. We (members and models) didn't need to see a detailed report about the problem, just a few simple lines in the MFC newsfeed stating that it was recognised and being dealt with. A little reassurance goes a long way y'know.

Coincidentally, I did notice that when MFC did eventually mention the issue on the newsfeed (late on the 3rd consecutive day of outages) that it came after quite a few pissed-off models had already posted their intention to just do skypes for a few days, go and do shifts on CB etc etc.. So perhaps MFC was reacting to the idea that people were already heading for the lifeboats, before they admitted the good ship MFC was taking on water... but not yet sinking. :D

;)

I do think it's shit that there has been little communication on MFCs part, and all the down time always seems to be when I'm getting on cam which sucks. It has had a big enough affect on my earnings that I've noticed it. However is MFC dying a slow death I don't really think so, just my opinion I'm pretty sure things will pick up for most of us and tbh I'm doing better when I actually do get on than I was last year. Sinking ship no a couple of leaks maybe but I don't think it's anything that won't pick up again.
