Heard this one, for the first time, on the radio while I was driving around this AM, it's fun...
And ofcourse this one, just because the lyrics are ridiculous. If a guy kneeled before me w diamonds in his pocket, I'd assume he was having an arthritis attack, after doing a robbery
The closer you listen to the lyrics of songs, the more ridiculous a lot of them are.

I'd really appreciate anyone's thoughts on the similarities between these 2 songs.
I was checking out the new release by Sloper, and as soon as I heard their song 'Dirty Heart' (released October 2024), I was strongly reminded of 'The Gift' by INXS (released 1993).
Here they both are - what do you think? Especially when the vocals start off.
Also unsure if it's a coincidence or intentional, but the INXS song is from their album 'Full Moon, Dirty Hearts' and the Sloper song is called 'Dirty Heart'.
And from 31 years earlier:

I'll check it tomorrow night. It's only 5:27pm here, and I'm toast for the day already. My brain feels like it's slushy. Terrible. Way too early in the day for that.
Anyways made me think of Sweet Dreams and then the Petey Pablo Get me out of Jail. Lol, they are a bit strangely similar too. There's nothing truly original in this world, or so some people have told me in the past.
( Is that even verifiable through AI at this point?? Idk how anyone could ever say such a thing. It's cleary impossible to know that for sure...)

(Sting sued Diddy for a lot of money a while ago, and won, for copyright infringement. He gets all the royalties on "I'll be missing you" until 2053). I think Marvin Gaye busted some nuts for similar stuff too.Apparently Patent Law is one of the least stressful type to get into.

BTW meant to say thanks for considering and responding to the INXS song similarity question a few posts earlier. Glad you heard that too.
I don't know how any artist can avoid being influenced by other's content, even without realising it, but that one seemed to be so similar that it was probably deliberate (and ballsy, if so).
