I'm trying to get into podcasts since I spend two hours walking daily and just listening to music is starting wear on me. My favorite podcast, Synodus Horrenda, just got cancelled, and I'm trying really hard to find new ones to listen to. I listened to Pick Me Up I'm Scared after @Miss_Lollipop mentioned them in another thread (specifically the love scam episode) and it was good. Are there any good podcasts you've been listening to lately?

The two I keep up with are Holly Randall Unfiltered and Tanya Tate Presents MILFS Making Money. Holly interviews various people in the adult industry and sex educators and advocates. She's an icon, and every episode is entertaining and informational. Tanya shares experiences from her life and interviews people who can give insights on different topics to help those working in the industry. She is so genuine and open with her struggles (personal and work-related), and gives great advice. Check them out, maybe your favorite cammer or pornstar was on one of them!

Seconding Holly Randall Unfiltered! She always has great guests, and she is a very skilled host/interviewer with a rich history in the industry behind the lens, so the conversations are super interesting to me.

Totally Wholesome (Not Dirty) Podcast by Molly Stewart is another good one. She cracks me up.

Not adult industry-related:

-You're Wrong About. "Mike and Sarah are journalists obsessed with the past. Every week they reconsider an event, person or phenomenon that's been miscast in the public imagination."

-Dark History by Bailey Sarian. "Bailey Sarian, a professional makeup artist & true crime connoisseur, is taking her expertise from her popular YouTube series, Murder, Mystery & Makeup, and expanding into the podcast world with Dark History! Each week, she will explore the chilling stories of the dark past from US and World History that they don't teach you in school!"

I have never really been able to get into podcasts, but Darknet Diaries was pretty good, it's kind of a true crime podcast but more focused on computer crimes than murders and stuff.

If you are looking for something other than music to listen to while your walking, the dresden files audio books are pretty good (supernatural detective novels) and deathstalker by simon r green (an epic scifi series) I can recommend too.

Last Podcast on the Left has been my go-to for a long time, but ymmv regarding a "bro comedy" take on true crime/conspiracy/weird subjects. I'm not a big fan of true crime or conspiracy, but LPoTL approaches it with interested irreverence, and I think that's how this stuff should be treated. Also, it's fun to listen to Marcus (especially) and Henry both become very good researchers as the show progresses.

Omnibus is my second go-to. The premise of the show is great: a show about the strange history of the little quirks of culture that just don't quite catch on and work out -- "...our attempt to compile and preserve wonders and esoterica that would otherwise be lost ...in the great cataclysm that will surely befall us." Ken Jennings is great, and I think John Roderick is charming, if a bit full of himself. They form a pleasant dynamic. The best part of the show is that I'll often come to an episode thinking the topic will be a snoozer, a bit too nerdy, and it ends up proving to be incredibly interesting to learn about.

Sawbones is my newest fave. Dr. Sydnee McElroy and her husband Justin McElroy really hit the ground running with this "marital tour of misguided medicine," which is a lighthearted presentation of the history of quackery and the evolution of good medical practices. If you're familiar with the McElroy brand (My Brother, My Brother and Me and The Adventure Zone, Monster Factory, etc.) you might already be familiar. I'm a fan of the McElroys, but I like Sawbones especially because Sydnee is chill, and Justin is the least extra of the brothers, their working chemistry is amazing, and that makes for a fun listen on an interesting subject.

I listen to a few at work. I'm in a large room with a lot of low wall cubicles. So, bluetooth earbuds connected to my phone help me tune everyone else out.
Mostly the ones i like are science fiction, or history.

Just finished The Leviathan Chronicles a few weeks ago. It's an older one I thought was finished. But just this past Friday they announced a 4th season spinoff season.

Celeritas is a new one. Off to a good start, but slow in releasing new episodes.

Clarkesworld Magazine puts out a podcast of their stories that are of higher quality writing.

Stuff you Missed in History Class always has interesting segments.

Ooh I just love this podcast! During the last year I became a huge Michael Hobbes fan tbh. He's an amazing host. There's another podcast which he hosts now since he left You're Wrong About, it's called Maintenance Phase. He and writer Aubrey Gordon talk about health in a systemic level and their takes are genius. It's not your old "how to be healthier", but a series of discussions based on methodology, science and sociology. Not to mention that they both are fucking hilarious and even when the topic doesn't interest me very much they make it awesome.

Yesss I miss him on YWA, Sarah Marshall is great on her own but they were so incredible together. I haven't had a dive into Maintenance Phase yet, but it's on my list. I could listen to him talk about anything, he has such funny insights.

I've been listening to Where Should We Begin? with Esther Perel. She's a relationship therapist and it's a recorded session with a couple where she tries to help them with their problems. I love relationship drama, and I also love learning how to have better relationships with people (and I think a lot of her advice is applicable to non-romantic relationships as well), so I have been devouring it.
