I don't know if it really fits the topic but, a pet peeve of mine.
I like watching (hetero) couple on Chaturbate, and often they have a "cum at goal" topic.
Why is it always about the man orgasm, why can't it be a female orgasm at goal for once.
Because, just like in porn, watching the man ejaculate on the female's body is what's more appealing, and therefore more tip-worthy, to the majority of heterosexual male viewers. Which is a damn shame.

Even if I do enjoy watching a man ejaculate on X body parts, I am not gonna believe the man who tells me he prefers that over hearing a woman moan and see her writhing in pleasure. Besides, even if he ejaculates at one point, why do they have to stop the show at that like it often happen, ok dude you had your fun, now let's help the lady finish too.

I just don't know. :?
It seems to work for the "cute & very young looking" type of model?

The female orgasm is much more interesting to me, men are just boring for the most part. That is why I stopped buying mainstream porn, there is always too much focus on the male performers.

Aw man... lol I do that sometimes at the end of the nights when I don't wanna do anymore shows but I wanna keep hanging out for a bit. But I normally do "X if you like me, y if you love me, (massive token amount) if you hate me" to keep it silly and light hearted while still reminding them that tips keep me online.

When you're Comcast late.

If you tweet, advertise, schedule, announce, etc... when you plan to be on cam but are late "mostly" every time, then I find that really annoying. C'mon, it's common curtesy to be on time for business appointments, doctor appointments, meetings, and especially at your employers work site. Why can't you plan accordingly? ...even factoring in the little quirks that may make you late every now and then?!

If you're consistently late to work, then I can not be made to wait to support/tip you. I value my time as much as you do yours.

The point I want to convey is that some of you set cam schedules which you never follow. Like saying you're gonna be on cam in 10 mins but in reality mean 60 mins. It's no bueno and it turns me off. It may turn others off too... those who want your services but can't be dicked around waiting for it. Don't be like Comcast ok?
Aw yes, the power of the "ish" in cam land. I've been trying to be much better about not guessing a length of time because I will ALWAYS be wrong, and then appear to be super late to my own made up schedule... and yeah I could see how that would be annoying.
This may at least shed some light on it just for a little general understanding maybe? Hair/makeup/oufits and lighting aside, I personally have TERRIBLE social anxiety and stage fright. I go through waves of panic and can never really guess how long it will take to be in the right head space to click that button that broadcasts me to the world. I know I'm far from the only model with this type of anxiety, it's actually extremely common in the cam world.
I'm still working on it myself (sometimes I get excited and throw a time out that's more than a window) but I would encourage any girls with the same issues to stick to more vague-ness.
Just tweet "setting up" instead of "on cam in 10" if you know you'll likely not make it.

I would also ask members to remember that the schedules on the profile should almost always be treated as a window of time vs. a punch in/punch out time.

I don't think you can be late to camming though. Some people find comfort in a schedule with it, but I know I'm totally opposite. I'm very much the kind of person who cams earlier, and more times a day, when I want to. And later in the day when life happens. It's why I like camming. I don't like punching a clock. And on MFC for example, those schedule hours... I don't even remember what mine say off the top of my head... but they don't offer you the option of more than one shift. You can make your own little box I guess but I just like to throw down hours that seem like a window. If I'm "late" from time to time according to my hours.. then I'm also on hours early half the time, and broadcasting on my "days off" 9 times out of 10 :-D I switch my time offline every other week.

I know you have to be consistent to have the same people all the time.. but I also like the variety of camming all different times. :dontknow:
Some people also cam on multiple sites and kinda bounce around on which one it's going to be for the night. It would stress me out to say for sure I'm going to be on at an exact time. I usually only know about 10 minutes before I hit broadcast :? I'm relatively consistent... at a few different times.

I know consistent schedules are a big thing for MFC but at the same time so many things in life are so rigid...can't I just hang out ,or get naked, or rub my vagina for others when i feel like it? But then again I don't expect the same members to be in my room every single day and time and I'm ok with that. And I've never had a member complain about it. Live and let live maybe?
Camming is work for me but it's also fun and if I treat it too much like a 9-5 job for me I don't like it all.

tl;dr not everyone's into camming schedules though...

I always think of late as saying "hey guys I'll be on at 7pm tomorrow!!". Them when tomorrow comes, it's "oops, it's gonna be 8:30" and at 9pm saying "see you in ten mins" then logging on at 10:15. Not necessarily late to a strict schedule, but later than you said you'd be.

This is something I struggle with sometimes and I know it can be annoying for my friends because lots of them are on Eastern time so if I get on at 11pm my time, that's already 1am for them - if they stay up to hang out, that's shitty to then have me be late. If I know my timing is iffy, like when I plan morning shows, I'll say "I'm gonna TRY too wake up on time so you'll MAYBE see me at 8am if all goes according to plan" so it's not set in stone. I also try to tweet if I'm late or plans change but really it doesn't fix the problem if someone's set aside time to see you.

I'm not a consistent "every day from 5-9" type of model either so I don't even know if I still have hours on my profile (should check that...), but I think I can definitely be late for my own hours.

It can be really hard to plan this stuff out too.
When you get on cam, I know for me at least, I don't just have to get myself ready, I have to get EVERYTHING ready.

So if I plan on getting online at 3, I can be showered and made up and totally prepared to sign online, then I remember I'm pulling a 5 hour shift that day and I'm probably going to have to take my cam into the kitchen with me at some point so I should probably do the pile of dishes sitting in my sink because it just doesn't look presentable. Now I'm already 20 minutes late.
It's small, unplanned things like that which usually make me late.
I was ALWAYS on time for my old 6-3 because that just involved me getting my own person ready, camming involves so many external factors that it's hard to be completely on time 100% of your shifts.
Landlord stops by? Late.
Cat pukes on duvet? Late.
Internet cuts out? Late.
Sooo many things can go wrong.

I always add 25% to models time. I figure if you wanted a 9-5 job you'd get one. So if I model says I'll be on at time is 8 hours, I assume that means 8-10 hours. 2 hours that means 2 to 2.5 hour etc. Some models camtime is off by 50% which can be a bit annoying when you have other events scheduled. On the other there are models who log on with 1/2 hour of their normal time pretty much everyday they say they will, that is best.

The bad habit that a fairly small but still substantial number of models do is log off for the day and say I'll be on tomorrow. Then go completely silent for one to several days about their camming. It is even worse when the tweet about other subjects, but nothing about" oops change plans I won't be on". Shit happens and plans change, but tweet only take minute, lack of communication is awfully annoying.

Not being on when you say you will is annoying. But I find that annoying just in general. If someone tells me to meet them someplace at a specific time and they don't show up, I figure they must not appreciate my time so I don't worry too much about appreciating theirs. I'd rather they just say, "I don't know when I'll be there exactly."

Well for me the most annoying thing is to chat with those members who promising me for months that they will have tkns on friday night! And never had. Its not about tkns, but about lie over and over. You better tell me that you are broke, and i will enjoy chatting with you if you are great in conversation(I really do, I have my old best tippers, who is broke now long time, but we still chat every day), but dont lie to me! Never!

I usually avoid being late by tweeting the time that I KNOW is longer than I will need to get ready. If I plan on being online in 30 minutes, I tweet I'll be on in 45 and so on. This way, if anybody is waiting for that exact time, they will find me already on cam.
I also share probably the unpopular opinion that since this is a job, being late is disrespecting your clients - members. At my day time job I meet different people 3-6 times a day. I am usually pissed if somebody's late without a good reason. So I try to value clients' time because I want others to value my time too.
Things can go wrong with any job. Cat puking, landlord coming and traffic jam happen to people every day, damn they happen to me every day. I still have to be there at noon for a meeting if I promised to be there. It's much easier to stretch the time with camming, I agree, but I try to avoid doing that.

I'm guilty of the showing up on cam later than I said I would. I'm trying to be better about it though. What I've been doing lately is waiting until I'm actually on cam to tweet so I don't look like a flake LOL.

Most everybody is late at times. While I think it is awesome that Evelyn under promises and over delivers on her camming schedule :handgestures-salute: , it is hard for a lot of people to do that.

In my ideal world a model announces early in the day, "I plan to be on cam late afternoon, normal time, early evening. etc." If that changes for whatever reason, a simple sorry I won't be on cam is pretty important.

Then a tweet a few hours before your plan on camming. "I'll be on 8 ish EDT"
Finally a tweet after you actually get on.

I treat cam shows from my favorite models, like my favorite TV shows in the days before DVR, on demand, torrents yada yada. I won't plan my life around watching a cam show, but I'll prioritize watching a cam show from a favorite model over grocery shopping, playing poker, or a computer game, since I can do this most any time.

In addition to the disrespecting of time which has been discuss already. Here is dollar and cents reason to over communicated. If my favorite model announces I'll be on cam, and I plan to watch her I'll generally have a figure in mind for how much I'll be tipping that night. If you flake out and don't show up, I'll generally be on MFC waiting for you but watching somebody else and tipping them. Those token that were yours, there gone now bb.

I noticed a pretty successful girl saying on Twitter that she doesn't have money to feed her kids. It really irked me. Complain about bills. Whatever. But, using the idea of your kid going hungry to tug at heartstrings is below the belt in my opinion. If you don't make enough money to feed your family, apply for food assistance. If you don't qualify, hit a food bank or make sure your kid eats before you do anything else with the money you have.

was regular tipper for months, never made a request. One day I asked her to ban me for mfc can be very unhealthy under certain conditions. She didn't do it. Leads me to the question, how much loyalty does a camgirl owe a member?
One might say if you are on mfc, you can't expect respect or loyalty or if you are a grown up and you don't want to be on mfc, then don't go there, on the other hand I think there is a minimum standard of respect everyone deserves and as a grown up you should know how pathetically weak we are at times.

I've seen members make that request... "please ban me." It strikes me that it's psychological exercise one plays with oneself to move blame or whatever from yourself to the model. I don't think anyone has that responsibility but you.

I agree. If you were friends with someone who was bad for you, you can say, "Please don't call me anymore," and that's fair. But saying, "Don't answer my phonecalls anymore and please actively avoid me because you're a bad influence but I can't help myself," is not fair. The onus is on you to get help.

@nordling: You consider blame, responsibility or whatever before you give a helping hand? So I suppose you hardly ever do.

@Lily: She is not my friend, I don't call her, I live a 2 hrs flight away from her, we never met or planned on doing so. I am not asking for changing her life in any way. I am just asking for 2-4 clicks on her interface and to forego some tips.

I said nothing about the person who would GIVE the helping hand; I was only exploring the motives of the one asking for a helping hand IN THIS INSTANCE.

If you are thirsty, I can give you water; if you are hungry I can give you food. If you're trying to save yourself FROM yourself, I suggest going to a counselor for help.

I was giving an example.

Conversely, all it takes is for you to make 2-4 clicks and shut down your account. You can also block models, if it's just one in particular you spend too much on. She should not be blamed for your inability to control your spending, sorry.
