I'm curious whether anyone here knows from actual experience about how vulnerable the so-called reverse image searches make us. People can upload an image to a website that will search billions of photos taken from the internet for matches. These services are offered to the public by some companies free of charge. I'm afraid to try it out on my own images for fear that simply searching might help train it and improve its accuracy in finding me (maybe paranoia, maybe not). So my question is: does anyone have any real-life experience with the problems that AI facial recognition poses to we models? Has anyone of you dared to try it on your own images to see what happens, or had a creepy viewer use it and find your social media photos. I'm mostly talking about the risks of being outed, doxed or stalked because of people using image searches.

That's not a reverse image search, reverse image search is like what Google has. You are referring to facial recognition searches but that's not an ai thing and it's not going to improve accuracy.

If you submit multiple photos of your face when you are doing a facial recognition search then that particular search will have more accurate results but the system is not learning from it

My advice is to opt out of those types of pages, it can only find photos accessible to the public so just keep that in mind with your social media. Watch out for things that are very easily accessible like for example public wedding photos (sometimes the photographer posts them too), publicly accessible work/school photos, etc

Your own friends/followers on your real social media might use that type of site and then message you with some ridiculous story "oh my god I was just randomly browsing the web and your photo came up" feel free to ask them to explain step by step how they found your photo :giggle:

hey so….

Yes. This is a super real issue that absolutely can out you. There’s two issues here.

Issue 1 - people you know might run your face and find your porn. VPN block your area, and opt out of anything you can .

Issue 2 - fans get curious and find your real life info.

The best thing you can do is to control where your image is online - outside of sw. Examples:

Ask your friends not to publish wedding photos with your face on photography websites. Ask your hairdresser to blur photos of your face on social media. Do not allow yourself to be in any local news coverage. Your personal social media should have NO public photos of you. And ideally should not be under your real name.

And I think more of this is helpful to discuss in models only since there’s info that pertains to safety. I’d encourage you to get access and ask there - there are tips for specific sites, like how to pay to remove yourself etc.

Facial recognition is only getting better.

You reminded me of a site that could find all your accounts based on your photo. These accounts were only related to webcams (all sites). I once used this to find all my old accounts and names. I was surprised that he showed a site where I only did one test broadcast and never opened it again.
But they also give you the option to remove yourself from search. Using a photo with a special caption next to your face.
I have cleaned this up to minimize the use of such information by scammers.

If anyone is interested I can search for the name of this site. Or maybe someone already knows about it.

Yes, I also think that it is not worth doing this, since unfortunately it can be used for different purposes.
But I want girls to know that they can remove themselves from this search. It is safe and they do not require documents like most scam sites.

One of the easiest things to help is to NOT post the same photos (even from the same series - photo set) onto your SW platforms and Social media platforms.
The unfortunate reality is, some guys can be real creeps and stalkers so will go to fuck knows what lengths to find people, so this like anything isn't a foolproof way to prevent it, but it certainly is one good way to stop it.

Don't even show photos you have on your real social media on screen for a second to guys, so many of them will record or screenshot and then find you that way. Be mindful.

That is what "opt out" means, we are saying they can remove themselves from those searches.

@MaLiNka__ : I take it that the site you mentioned is exclusively limited to sexual webcam sites and not mixing it in with general images on the web. I wonder how well it did. Did you get false hits?

This got me thinking: the image libraries must be identified by source. Maybe the mainstream Facial ID sites might not include all the sexual webcam sites. It may be wishful thinking but I imagine companies not wanting a bunch of false positive smut showing up in their customer's searches. I suppose I'm just going to have to investigate myself. I'm just trying to find any hope in the situation. But at least nobody has mentioned any first -hand privacy violations resulting from this technology.

The main stream facial id sites include webcam sites.

I've seen it first hand a few times, not writing to me directly but to my partner.

The photo I added was taken freshly (not taken from the gallery).
Yes, there really were girls who really looked like me. (For example, an identical nose, or the position of the eyes.
But since this site provided accounts that were created 8-9 years ago. During this time, I also changed a little, so several erroneous photos of girls on the list were quite normal. But what surprised me most was that this site accurately provided all the webcam accounts where my face had ever appeared.
So yeah, barring a few outliers who actually look like me, I'd give her 99% accuracy.

I found the name of this site, if anyone wants you can ask me in private messages .

Actually yes, I remember one girl who made that mistake. She was "new" and had just come to our studio. She uploaded photos from the photo shoot, which she used for her social networks. These were not exactly the same photos, but they were from the same line. It is expected that she became a victim of scammers who demanded money from her for silence.
Of course she had no money, and all her friends from this network received a photo mailing where she was naked. It would seem that this is a banal story, especially for those who have been in webcam for many years, but nevertheless, "new" girls still fall into this trap.

Um…why are you so determined to give any ‘ole Tom, Dick, and Harry this information??? The only people on here who should have access to this are cam models, and there is a whole separate area of this forum that’s for VERIFIED cam model. Please stop volunteering information like this which could be problematic for cam models…..

I meant girls who would like to check it out.
But you don't have to worry about those guys who want to use this to their advantage. They have similar resources.Unfortunately, the site I am talking about is not the only one.But I actually removed myself from it and it worked without any additional information or problems .
Perhaps someone would like to do the same. But apparently they like to twist everything here.

If you feel you must do this, I hope you would only provide it to ACF-verified cam models....... (but likely they would already be aware of it)
In fact, there are a lot of similar resources. But in reality, yes, I would pass this information on to the forum owner and if necessary, she would then provide the information to other people. Because she has more information about the people who are here. But there was no such request. That's why I think that girls already know about it, or, on the contrary, don't want to know.

This info is shared for verified models in the models only section. please do not dm it to anyone who isn’t a verified model. I appreciate your care. While it is true that this info is out there we do not want to add to it, especially since this forum comes up easily in searches.

Honestly, this subject is really something that should be avoided publicly. The more we talk about it publicly the more people look for this stuff

Good for you. :) And nobody’s twisting anything. If you care about fellow cam models like you want people to believe, then listen to what we’re telling you…and don’t make this the next topic you obsess over on the public section of this forum. At least three people in this thread have already told you that this is a discussion for verified models to have in MO. And you pretty much just dismissed it, even though it makes us uncomfortable.

You said you’re just telling the girls. Well, just because a poster on here has a picture of a woman as their ACF avatar photo doesn’t mean they’re a woman. Anybody on here can upload a photo of a woman they think is hot. Lol.

Glad to read you guys speaking up. The fact this is even a topic out here is super cringe imo. I wish people would have some common sense. I really do. Even worse that posters are offering to go into detail about sites etc 🤦‍♀️ can't believe there's even push back on that tbh. Seriously c'mon 🤦‍♀️.

In case you haven't noticed, I don't have a "verified model" badge. Judging from your words, there is a section to which I do not have access, and it is logical that I cannot read what you write there.
I didn't try to get it. The topics that appear in the various available sections were enough for me.
If after explaining that I was able to delete and other girls can do the same It wasn't enough to understand that I was saying this for the models, not for the ill-wishers. Then I think there is no point in talking about anything else.

And yes, I see the icon that you and others active here have. I also suggested the option of giving the information to the owner of the forum so that she could use it at her own discretion. But for some reason it was just ignored. Trying to blame me for something. Why?

To be honest, it’s strange for me to see such a reaction in the form of an “attack”. I really don't understand. It's not something hidden. Yes, there are few such topics on this forum. But do you really think this isn't discussed on other sites, especially by non-models?
I already understand that you are somehow trying not to spread this. But let's be honest, I found this information somewhere.

Overall, there are no problems. I have never seen any taboo topics for discussion on the forum. I think it was written that you can talk about everything. If there is some list of taboo topics for public discussion, just give it to me. There are also other girls who are actually models and would like to protect themselves. Which also do not have access to the section you are talking about.
But in any case, you can rest assured that if necessary, I will pass this information on to the forum owner, and let her decide what to do with it. If there is no request, the topic is closed. I will not "encroach" on your safety, girls!

Oh for real do you ever stop arguing and just take accountability? It seems like you spend more time here arguing and playing the victim than you do camming. Are you even a cam model? Or a full-time arguer? Hobby Wankers never fail to make themselves super annoying.

You shouldn't need a list of things not to do and bring up on a forum, you should have common sense. So childish. Just take accountability that your idea was bad, apologize and be quiet for once. All the constant playing the victim is so beyond old.

It's not like people relish having to scold others here. Because it's rarely met with apologies and accountability taking, it's usually just responses to with a ton of defensiveness, arguing & immaturity. It's tense af, but it often needs to be done. I doubt Yummy enjoyed having to call you out on that, but I'm glad she did. Just listen to her already!

oh please. its pretty easy to get verified here and other camming forums aslong as you have an active camming account.

Yes, I have noticed. I do have eyes, ya know. I, and others, have already explained this to you, and will not spend another moment of my time going back and forth with you on this topic…just because you, as usual, are stubborn and like to hear yourself talk. Have a nice evening.
