What is the most annoying thing a model can do?

An annoying thing (CB) models do is vary how much effort they put in depending on how regular a user is/how confident they are he'll be back. Examples I've encountered include
- Model turns up a lil early for a prearranged show with a new user tipping X. Whereas for me, the regular, I got a last minute notification that the prearranged show I'm tipping 4 x X for is getting delayed. Then that there won't be sound. Then that it's delayed again. etc., etc., yadda yadda
- General effort in shows; here the more shows you take a model for the more I've found some try to shift it from sexy sex to chatty chat, except here's the thing, I don't want to pay to listen to someone witter on about getting their nails done

So yeah, models who put out hard for new guys but try to dick regulars about are pretty damn annoying

I don't know if this one is annoying or funny. I get that for a lot of cam models, particularly those working from home, a key part of their mental armour is viewing most users as being dumb AF and/or sad pervs, so maybe that explains why some models lose their shit when it's pointed out they're being a dick and/or trying to pull dick moves.

Examples I've encountered include models who do bait and switch re:what's going to happen in a show, trying to sneak snidey price changes without warning and heinous racist chat. And the response is usually the same, the model does a face and chat that says "how dare you, you sad perv have the audacity to catch me being a dick AND the temerity to call me out for being said dick".

There was a gal like this on MFC about a year or so ago, heck if I can remember her name... but she sat in chat and just dirty talked to everyone hardcore (including basics and guests) and had a crazy amount of viewers. IIRC she raked in pretty good money but as soon as her New Model status was gone I haven't ever seen her since. I've seen that constant hypersexual and freeloader pandering stuff burn out so many girls. Stunk because I thought she was really nice, smart, and sexy. I hope she is still around and just changed things up. :/

If girls like this played the game even a little they might have had the chance to go far. My friend I mentioned had potential to be a great cam girl but her attitude got in the way. Didn't research the field at all and only went on cam smashed off her face on booze so she found it very hard to say no to members.

Strategies like this might work in the short term but aren't doing anyone any favours.

I'm a writer that believes deeply in the integrity of reviews, so there's that. But also I wish more models would understand and sympathize with how difficult it can be for well-meaning members to find content that suits them best. I mean, we don't get to see anything without paying. Don't get me wrong, I'm not protesting that. Of course I understand why that is. But this means that members take pretty big leaps of faith every time we make a purchase. Please don't taint one of the only resources we have to prevent potential buyer's remorse.

I mean, I can sympathize. It's gotta be a tricky line to navigate, creating teasers and such without giving away the action for free. But yeah, absolutely, I wish more models would make the effort.

for my part, I was just thinking of chaturbate.
saw a girl with vids for 800tks a piece up the other day, and what does she and chaturbate offer by way of a teaser? one frame at 150x100 pixels. she didn't even put in any more of a description than the video title. as if to say 'hey... it's me, ok. what more could anyone ever need to know? I'm perfect, and you want everything I do, trust me. end of story'.

There's lots you can do to make it so that not _everything_ is given away.
you can blur the vital bits.
you can offer it in lower resolution.
you can omit the sound.
you can put in only a second or two from each scene.
and you can tell them anything else that's in it that they may want to see but not get to see in the preview.

actually filming and editing the video is the tedious thing. once you have your video, chopping out a few nice teasers is not remotely hard at all, nor is muting all or most of it, nor is exporting it in a low res. blurring or watermarking over nudity would be annoying...but geez, the people buying your shit have probably seen it a dozen times already live, I doubt showing it instead of blurring it would be the difference between a sale and an 'I've got everything I need now!'.

Clip customers and cam customers are rarely the same people.

And clip customers on Manyvids, at least for me, are usually new customers who have never seen any of my work before.

I know Americans have had awesome internet for ages, but I grew up without even shitty DSL speed data capped broadband. all porn had to be pre-downloaded -- 20mb per hour at optimum. So, while I knew the term 'camwhore' I only found out cam sites were something you could watch for free earlier this year ...it's not something people tend to talk about. it's all pornhub/youporn/etc.
(Americans over 40 probably grew up similarly, and fit nicely into the can-afford-to-pay-for-porn class)

the way I used it above would be like 'bitches' or more accurately 'fuckers' (because 'bitches' is fairly gendered, still, even though you can say a man is bitching or having a bitch or being a bitch). 'fuckers' just denotes 'ugh, annoying person'. but it can also be used in positive statements, 'I love these fuckers, they're like a second family!'. cunt, used as 'good cunt' is actively anti-gendered, as you'll find people refer to men as 'good cunts' and women as 'good bitches', as though there's an underlying fear of women taking 'cunt' offensively even when it's being used in the same positive way it's applied to men in their society. you can say 'she's a funny fuck' or 'he's a funny fuck', but fear seems to keep a lot of our people from using 'cunt' gender neutrally, still. ...but the world is prevalent.
