what is the back story of Chaturbates record breaking single tip of 338,338 tokens?

I was reading the blog on cb when i saw that the record has been set for a single tip in the amount of 338,338 tokens! (for those of you not wanting to do the math that is an almost $17,000 tip!!). All to a broadcaster (named fitlariss) who has a whopping 3567 followers! This means that either this broadcaster is BRAND NEW, is a cammer from another site who had a viewer from that site follow her to cb and tip her or she had a new screen name made recently and retired a long time profile. Otherwise it makes no sense for a viewer to spend over $38k (half to cb and half to the model) on a whim. The only times i have seen massive tips have been tipped by a group that compiled them for say a birthday so they communally can tip a single huge tip. But not from a single viewer and to a cammer who did not just have a birthday. All in all it doesnt add up to me. There has to be more to this story than i can figure out on my own. Anyone have any idea about this all time high tip?
My curiousity is dying to know!

Instead of assuming there's something nefarious if you aren't explicitly informed about why a big tip was given between two people you don't know, why not work hard enough that you get a tip so big, random strangers accuse you of money laundering?

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, whatever, nobody has to justify their tipping to random people on the internet.

And if anyone needs to launder some money, my tip jar is always open.

I'll never understand why someone else's tips are any concern of someone else. She probably worked hard to cultivate that relationship with that reg. Just because she's new or has a low fan count doesn't mean she can't still land some whales and bank.

No need to get your panties in a bunch. Yes no one has to justify their tipping reasons to a message board however there are other people there that witnessed that tip happen and i am curious about it. I would not even be aware of it had Chaturbate not made a whole posting on their blog about it! And if you make a blog posting about a story why would someone not read it? And when it doesnt make sense one starts to wonder.

I did not accuse that innitially and in fact i did not accuse that at all. I was brain-storming as to what was the deal with someone tipping what appears to be a brand new model $17,000 and give CB an additional aprox $17,000. I put all of the reasons i could think of for a tip like that to have happened. Notice that in the original posting i did not say anything about the idea that there could be fraud involved in that tip, just that things didn't add up which was why i was asking the cam community in the first place. That is after all what a message board community is for right? It is all just brainstorming different scenarios that could fit until i find someone who actually knows about what the real deal is. That tip is so far out of the normal it stands out like a sore thumb. That gives me pause. And it is pretty well known that camming is an industry that can be at risk of its service being used to legitimize illegitimate currencies. So, i did say that could be a possibility but i also said a lot of other things could be a possibility too.

If you think it is an easy feat to convince someone to give up over 38 thousand dollars because they find you oh so sexy, then more power to you. I have been working as a cam model now for almost 5 years and in all the time i have been one i have only seen a handful of tips that hit the thousands of dollar mark. If you think it is as easy as just going out and making it happen then good luck to you! I hope you are as successful at that as you make it sound it to be!

Or you could not worry about it? I understand curiosity but I don't understand feeling that the peanut gallery has any reasonable entitlement to finding out "what happened". Nor do I understand speculating negative things (like laundering) when there's no evidence of anything negative. Can a tip sometimes just be a tip? Rich people do crazy stuff all the time. More importantly, the chance that he's gonna come and say "oh yes, it was money laundering" seems pretty slim. I doubt you'll get a concrete answer and don't know why you think one should be given.

From what i get is that they use stolen credit cards to buy cam shows where the model is aware of what is happening and is part of the scheme. I have only heard rumors over the years of these types of cams existing but never seen it myself.

Money laundering is about washing clean actual cash e.g. using a legitimate looking cash business (one that takes in cash not card payments like a pub or a taxi firm) to explain where all this other dirty cash came from.And you do this by bullshitting the accounts e.g. you say the taxi had 20 fairs not the actual 10 - with the extra 10 explaining where the cash came from

By contrast a big tip leaves all sorts of paper trails from money entering the system (which money laundering is all about covering up) and the site owner takes a hella cut. e.g. the launderer is paying 50 cents on the dollar

So unless the site owners where involved, don;t make no sense. And even if they are - still don;t make no sense cos its the point at which the actual cash gets paid into a bank account for the first time is the issue/the risk/the bit to be covered up

I know 2 studios that makes like this one is from Russia and another Roumanian
And this sistem works on chaturbate just fine because once you have tokens in 1 account you can transfer them from 1 performer to another without loosing any cent.
I do not work from a studio and i never did but i have a friend that did worked from studio and her studio owner made like this with every girl, tipped in their rooms. ( even if i personally see it disgusting because i have to feel joy for a tip that is not mine not even half )
I am working on cb personality and i have to say is imposible to recive such a tip with 3000 followers.
I had an account for 5 years and because of personal reasons in had to close it.
Now i have a brand new account since 1 may ( 14500 followers) and only 1-3 times at month i see some 1000 tks tips. But the rest of the days guys tip only small amounts.

Token swapping is definitely a thing on chaturbate,can help juice up the atmosphere in a room and get a model close enough to a goal for real tippers to step in. I reckon the tip in the OP was most likely a mental 'murikan
