I want to report you, this night, on a long telephone conversation from my lawyer yesterday, with Vice President of Choice Bank, Ad Kees.
Mr. Ad Kees explained very clearly, to my lawyer, the current situation of his bank: Choice Bank literally found itself without much of its money because of the closure made by Master Card to Choice Bank. Due to a situation connected to a break with WireCard company, the Choice Bank bank has been freezing the money processed by Master Card, putting this in danger the bank and forcing it to a forced liquidity.
Now, according to Ad Kees, the situation is evolving positively: Master Card is reopening the liquidity towards Choice Bank and this will allow the Bank to take back its money and, therefore, of power will begin to pay its creditors, starting from those affected by the FCP card block, in particular the ones with lower amounts.
All this should unblock in a few days, however within the end of the month, these are the words of Ad Kees.
According to the lawyer who spoke with Kees, the explanation of the Vice President of Choice Bank is entirely true because the same lawyer has in the past handled similar proceedings between banks vs. MasterCard.
In my constant requests on the good faith of Ad Kees, the lawyer told me that "Yes, Ad Kees is speaking in good faith and really working with the Bank to solve everything in the best possible time".
Now I think, like the hundreds and hundreds of other FCP users here affected by this crisis, that we should expect these days promised by Kees to see the evolution of this process: a process that, paradoxically, has also become a bit slower due to the Belize Central Bank which, in some way, has placed under special control Choice Bank to ensure that no fraud will be committed and that all creditors will be respected and paid.
As for the class action option promoted by Avv. Caporaso di Panama I think it can be a useful action for the future, better after June 31 and especially if Ad Kees and Choice Bank were for the umpteenth time disregard the promises gradually made.
