Hey everyone,

I started camming approximately 4 months or so ago and am finally feeling I've pretty much got the hang of it now. Being a dancer I understand how to talk and flirt but all the technology can be confusing and frustrating to say the least.

Anyway.

I got forced to leave my house in Las Vegas and had to pack up and move across country back home to Canada in under 30 days notice. Because of this I couldn't work, over a month off and on top of that some crazy expenses I wasn't prepared for. I'm finally settled in my new place and I love it! I have space to hang my aerial hoop and my fetish props, have loads of room and some really unique exciting shows I have planned but, sadly I have been majorly struggling all week to even hit my first goal. I've been averaging around 14 people in my room sometimes less, usually not much more, yet I have been resilient and am still upbeat, bubbly and entertaining. Smiling chatting telling silly stories. I even did a cooking show where I made steak and potatoes and had fun with it.

People come in my room and have been commenting on how they don't understand why people aren't in my room, or why no one is tipping. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. I think I have great music, great lighting, sexy and fun wardrobe, and am offering something a little unique in terms of shows. I'm not a prude, am super open minded to most things, I am a nude / explicit model, a squirter at that, also I can be silly af but turn on sexy pretty quick, and I actually enjoy it! Sadly, all the effort, investment, and time I've put in seems like a waste.

I cammed last night from 8pm - 1am EST and today from 6pm - 3:30am ((I took a break from 1:30 am until 3:30am because I needed to get fresh air and to avoid a meltdown cry fest on cam )) I have made maybe around $200 in the past two days during all of those hours. I have never received what most would consider a "big tip". I've never had anyone purchase anything off my wishlist I don't get spoiled and all that is just fine but, I just want to be able to make my countdowns and put on a really unique show, but sadly I can't seem to make it happen.

It's a shame because I really love this job. Its so much fun and I have so many fun exciting things planned but I can't even seem to make my first countdown to bra off. If anyone has any advice I would so very much welcome it. I know its most likely hard to gauge what it is that I may or may not be doing wrong since you most likely haven't been in my room... or.... maybe it's just been a slow week all around? What can I do to drum up more viewers? Is it because I was gone for so long? I have zero idea. It's sad to say I'm about to throw in the cum towel but before I do... if any of you (male guests or female models) have any tips I would be so thankful.

Time to wash off the makeup and sleep the day away... Photo on 9-8-17 at 6.21 PM.jpg19424532_1583918851653113_2829529543290653852_n.jpgPhoto on 9-8-17 at 2.00 AM #2.jpgPhoto on 9-4-17 at 1.52 PM.jpg

You seem like you know what you're doing and you have a good show from what you've said. Keep putting in the hours and keep building relationships with members. You have a decent camscore, a chill vibe, and you're stunning. These things take time on a social camsite, especially after being gone for a period of time. Also maybe try to spice up your profile a bit and add some offline tip incentives.

I'm not a cam girl (or am I?) so my advice is based on observation rather than first-hand experience, but I don't think you need to worry too much. A month is a long time in camland, so by being being away during that month (through no fault of your own), you're now in a position where you're basically having to start over, only this time you're having to do so without the "new model" status, which seems to boost room count.

You seem to have a lot going for you though, which is why I wouldn't worry too much. Your camscore is good (some models take years to grow their camscore in to the 2000s and some models quit long before they ever get there), you seem to know what you're doing, you have professional looking content, you have a presence on social media, and you're incredibly pretty, which obviously helps things.

Like Magnolia said, maybe some offline tip incentives on your profile and social media would help make the slow weeks (which from what I can tell are pretty much unavoidable, even for the most established and successful models) a little less disheartening - highest offline tip at the end of each day gets a sexy fansign, anyone who contributes x amount to your countdown before you get on cam gets a bonus pic set, highest offline tip of the month wins a custom video, etc. etc.

Definitely keep at it. There are very successful ladies on the forum who at one point were performing for an empty room with a 500 camscore, but perseverance got them where they are now.

If you want to see a faster return, try other sites, or branch into clip making for an extra revenue stream.

I can tell you. You have trouble splitting attention. You tend to do this in both your MFC and SM sessions and I don't really have advice for how to fix it but I can tell you it's giving the wrong vibe.

You seem to have one or two people you give 80% of your attention to. Even when someone else gives you tips you tend to give them one or two seconds of attention then go back to those main two people. Maybe those people have good conversation but you don't invite the rest of the room into that conversation so it appears inclusive and maybe stop people from even 'trying' to tip into it because you can keep this up for a good amount of time (I was in your room for 8min trying to get info about a pvt and didn't respond once), this was both on SM and MFC. I know there's the cliche that people are bending over to throw money at someone but there's even a limit to that before you have to make yourself available. This is my two cents

Thank you that's very helpful. The problem is not everyone talks obviously. Sometimes I'll see someone new come in and sit there for a bit so I say hi, and they leave. This happens especially in SM. If you join in the conversation Im move than happy to chat with you too, and in most cases the tippers are talking more. I give you attention when you tip of course, but if you don't join in the conversation with us I'm not too sure what to do. I usually am talking about things anyone can join in on. I often ask questions to the room but no one responds or maybe just the same two tippers. Thats what happened yesterday.

I'm surprised I missed your private request. Unless you wanted to ask me personal questions as "what I do in private" in group chat I wouldn't ignore. I just ask that sexy details are done in PM. Sorry you felt ignored, that wasn't my intent. I'll work on trying to jerk all the cocks at the same time. ;)

For sure hoping to spice up my profile but have been waiting to decide if Im gonna stick with it. Offline tip incentive for sure, just have to work on building content which takes time and $ but I haven't saved any yet for that because I've been moving and tying to rebuild my funds with camping, but sadly its not going to well. Catch 22 I suppose. lol

Those are all fantastic ideas!!! Thank you so much!

Oh also I don't really go to SM too often I like how MFC is more interactive. They're usually only one or two guys in SM they leave and come back in. Not too many talk. Which might be why you felt that way on SM, perhaps I was talking to someone then you came in the room and there was only two of you... I usually expect people to come in and leave like right away on that site, Im shocked when people chat and stick around. I've yet to do a gold show cause they run out of time before it happens no one tips into them.

Honesty all of this is so helpful! Thank you so much you guys :h:

I kind of mushed both things together in my past post so let me expand a little more.

On SM you weren't talking to anyone at the time I was on. I only do exclusives and I asked you if you had toys available and if you allowed audio in C2C in exclusive. Now sometimes SM has tech issues and messages might not reach the models so it may have no been your fault at all but I never got a response so I left.

Then on MFC you were talking with someone. I actually didn't talk at all in MFC but there was a guy asking you about how much for spanks in public since you do not have a tip menu and you completely ignored him and another person asked about if there was a tip menu and he was ignored also so at that point I decided to leave. I was only in your chat for about 5min so only talking about what happened in that period of time.

Thats so strange I don't remember seeing that. If this was last night, it might be because I logged back into MFC and forgot to close out SM I went back later and realized it was open and had both on at the same time (oops) totally my brain fart. Or maybe this was prior and SM had a glitch. I would have answered you 100%!

Okay so this is weird, there might be a glitch in MFC because I have ZERO recollection of any of those questions. Seriously I would have of course answered. I do have a tip menu it's in my whiteboard as I don't have a profile designed yet.

To answer your question, though its a bit late... Yes I have toys... toys for days! Glass, vibrators, various sizes of dildos, plugs, beads you name it! My friend works for a company where they review toys so I basically can get most anything. :) Just purchased a lush Lonvense but it wont work there's some weird glitchy things happening in my electronic world apparently. Technology fail much? Geeze! I do go C2C for 300 tokens audio is free :)

You were only there for 5 min? well thats not long. There is also sometimes a big lag in MFC from when a person types to when I see it. I've noticed this with my perv account when I tip a girl and talk. It happens to me a lot... but 5 min really isn't a long time... you should hag out with me longer... but actually say hello I like that. :)

I looked at your profile. Nice pictures. I Loved the gifs you have on there. But I highly recommend you create a tip menu. List a bunch of things... with values that are low, medium and high. Then when guys visit they instantly have options and might use them to "try you out". I suggest putting a tip menu on your profile itself and then for MFC at least also using the Whiteboard feature as an additional area for tip menu or deals or whatever you like.

Yes, viewers check profiles for tip menus. The white board is still new to a lot of us and folks who've been around for a while may not be checking it.

I don't know how to do css or html. I have tried to type it in my about me section but it doesn't work and it appears as a paragraph and less like a menu. This css stuff is very confusing to me. I've tried to find tutorials but I'm having a hard time with it still. I do have a tip menu on my whiteboard though.

Maybe people use a graphic program to make a tip menu. It's easier. You could use "paint" or anything really. Then you upload it to your profile and put the link to that URL on your profile in your about section for instance. Much easier then trying to do the whole thing in HTML/CSS.

girl, ive seen you online on streamate before. you totally have what it takes to be successful at this. get those hours up. get a schedule and stick to it.

i believe in you!
