Trying to tell my new Girlfriend about MFC.

So I got back together with an old girlfriend, we dated about 10 years ago, and we are getting along great. She asked me about the stuff I like to do on the computer. So, I mentioned I liked to watch videos and look at funny cat photos...then I mentioned MFC and explained it in detail. Needless to say her look *WTF* was priceless. I told her I only go there when I'm single. :liar: :shhh: L O L Anyone else have this happen?

And that's because I personally would have avoided that fib of yours. If there are things worth lying about in a relationship, I don't think watching MFC would be one of them.

That said, I've never been in your predicament. Hopefully neither your confession or your little fib come back to haunt you.

Frankly, I cannot envisage it. The distance between the world of open-minded and sexually liberal girls that I see on MFC, and the factual prudence and mental fragility of the 'sophisticated' real world people around me... is mind boggling.

Most people are going to straight-up see MFC as being a porn site, because, well, it is.

I admit it's kind of weird when you ask someone what they do, and they say "I look at porn! It's awesome; here, let me show you." No matter how we see it, it's going to take a lot of work to convince someone to the contrary.

I have a different task explaining MFC to people because it's my job. However, if I was just a premium member, I doubt I would share that part of my life... just seems like more of a private thing, even if you see the models as your friends and buddies, not sex objects.

Nah, I don't think that's necessarily the case. But no matter how open people are, jerking it and the porn they like just seem like a personal thing.

Yeah, once I get close and intimate with my boyfriend I would like to watch porn with him, but as a girlfriend I probably do not want to hear about all the hot amazing beautiful women he watches. I don't consider watching cams to be cheating, but neither need a man necessarily point out the interpersonal connection to someone who might not understand.

There's been one person total I've talked to about MFC from real life. That person was an acquaintance who started the conversation down that road. I mentioned MFC and then attempted to curtail the entire discussion because it wasn't one I wanted to have. My friends and family do not need to know. If they find out and ask me about it, I won't lie, but I am also not going out of my way to include it between video games and listening to music on the list of things I enjoy doing on my computer.

I told my wife about MFC a while back. We'd watched porn together and she knew I watched it on my own, so I don't think it was a huge shock. My big mistake was waiting longer than I should have to talk to her about it. Her biggest concerns were about the one on one interactions and potential emotional connections, so she and I set boundaries about what was and wasn't acceptable to her.

That said, I don't think she "got" what I saw in it, and I wasn't able to explain it very well honestly. Nor have I made a strong effort after our initial discussions to try and get her engaged in it.

Well the girlfriend bit is a N/A. But, if it were to become a question, or looked like it might, I would evaluate many things. If I thought the new girl was very important to me, and also thought MFC would not be acceptable, I would close my accounts there. I had understandable given it no thought before now, knowing that she will be a Cam Model. :lol:

What I would not do, is hide it or think it was acceptable to go there under certain circumstances, if I knew, or thought it was something that would not be acceptable.

A question that has not been asked, that would be much harder for me to answer, is. How would explain, and/or would you be willing to give up ACF, to/for a loved one/gf/bf?

As far as revealing it to friends or even non friend folk whom I am friendly with? I would have, and do have, no concerns. That is not to say that if I am at MFC and my room mates 86 year old mother stops by, that I am not going to close the tab.
