Replace "enhanced" with "photoshopped" and you'll be closer to reality. As I mentioned pages back, you can't enhance a digital image and reveal things that aren't there. The new photos [finally] released bears that out; those long streaks people were calling lacerations make NO appearance in the newer photo...which only shows blood.

You should sue ABC then for falsifying evidence since you're such an expert.

I should sue ABC because I disagree with someone on a message board? lol

Really.

If the pics I posted of Tray were not him and the Twitter info was wrong, by all means show me the errors.

Others in this thread have tried that (to prove to you that it's not Trayvon), but you're too damn stubborn. You just believe what you want to believe so that your boy Zimmerman comes out looking like the "good citizen who was just using self-defense."

As much as you've been defending him in this thread, I'm surprised you're not out right now having a "Woohoo! Zimmerman's going free!" BYOG party (bring your own gun).

I think you're mistaking the images I posted and what Havrath posted, but you'll believe whatever you want anyway.

It doesn't matter if you posted them or Harvrath posted them. Both of you are on the killer's side and act like the victim was nothing more than a "thug."

I pretty much all ready figured out it didn't matter what I said since I'm not jumping on the Zimmerman is automatically guilty bandwagon.

I like the description of 6'2" 17 year old football player as a child too, nice touch there.
Well, unless you're disputing the legality of his birth certificate or that the guy was indeed Trayvon, it's a fact that he was a child lol. He was legally a child. You can go ahead and call him a juvenile if it makes you feel better, a minor, a teenager who hadn't reached majority, whatever. Under the law he was a child.

Wrong again. http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/child

child n. 1) a person's natural offspring. 2) a person 14 years and under. A "child" should be distinguished from a "minor" who is anyone under 18 in almost all states.

"You're a child until you leave this house, kid! Want to be an adult RIGHT NOW? Be my guest!"

Gee, I'm sorry you have to somehow diminish Trayvon but putting him in a special category. To me he WAS a kid, a child. He had not received manumission; he was still under the care of his parents. Dictionaries, once again, REPORT how words are used, not how they SHOULD be used.

He was a MINOR child.

He will always be his parent's child. I was pointing out Jup's FACT was indeed wrong. I'm glad you think that's another reason I'm diminishing Trayvon by correcting a mistake. It just show's how ridiculous your accusations are.

I do agree, that it's not nice to call your kids "child" after they reach 14 or so... kids, and adults for that matter are often sensitive about their maturity, or lack thereof. But the reality is, a child is a child as long as he/she hasn't received manumission, no matter what dictionaries say. Legally? Sure, he's a minor. But none of us to my knowledge in this thread are lawyers or jurists in this case.

Seriously, we set arbitrary points in a person's life to call them children, adults, infants, etc. Very rarely are these points EXACTLY accurate in any meaningful way. I call a kid a kid as long as he or she is still under the control of his parents. You may call them anything you wish.

No, he was a child. If there was anything wrong it's your legal system. The "Land of the Free" is the only UN member state aside from Sudan and Somalia not to have ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child - despite drafting much of it for everyone else to ratify.

Anywhere in the WORLD, aside from those two war-torn third-world countries and the USA, Trayvon Martin is considered a child.

As of November 2009, 193 countries have ratified, accepted, or acceded to it (some with stated reservations or interpretations) including every member of the United Nations except Somalia and the United States, as well as the new nation of South Sudan. Somalia had announced that it would eventually do so.

Probably because until very recently some states in your country were sentencing children to execution, which for everyone else is a breach of international law.

You might be correct in the definition of your law, but your laws regarding children are outdated and backwards.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convention_on_the_Rights_of_the_Child#United_States
President Barack Obama has described the failure to ratify the Convention as 'embarrassing' and had promised to review this.

Trayvon was born and lived in the U.S., therefore his legal age terminology is defined by U.S. laws, period. Fuck the UN.

Ha ha! @ "fuck the UN."

this from a guy who got all tearful when I said, "fuck the founders."

Isolationism is the word. Worked really well after WWI...led to WWII.

Now you're talking ratifying a convention to argue that U.S. law states a child is legally defined as anyone 14 or younger?

Really?

Whatever
In this thread, we weren't even talking about a LEGAL definition. In law there's all kinds of legal definitions that are not used by people not in law practice.

Trayvon WAS a child.

Bocefish said:
Yes, fuck the UN in regards to how the U.S. defines a child. You want to argue all the other useless points of the UN, start another political thread.
Heh, the US only thinks the UN is useless when it doesn't do what you want.

This reminds me of an argument I got into with an aunt and her son-in-law about the metric system.

Aunt Dorothy: "So, I'll have to throw out all my recipes! Why do we have to do what everyone else in the WORD does?"
SinL: "Yeah, and all dem lumber yahd gone hafta throw out all dey lumbah!"

Me: "You people are morons."

She never made me a zucchini cream pie again.

Jesus, and then I said

I admitted you were right about the law. It doesn't change anything, he's still a minor, move on.

Lesse... Zimmerman is how old?

I'm 25, and anyone under 23 looks like a teenager to me. Sure, it may be legal for them to C2C with me, but it always makes me uncomfortable. So whatever the fuck the law says about how old a person must be before they are considered an adult, when Zimmerman looked Trayvon in the face and shot him, he was shooting at what looked to be a very frightened or angry child.

Yeah, you're part of the "Who gives a shit about Trayvon" club. Such a swell guy you are! Gee, I wonder which of the posters in here we should nominate as President.....

It doesn't matter to me how old Trayvon was, and I don't know why it should. Trayvon could have been 30 for all I care, Zimmerman still shot and killed someone that was unarmed. Zimmerman not knowing his age or if he was armed or not should have made him wait for the police, not get out to pursue on foot. Which one of these men have a history with violence again? Should I ask Zimmerman's ex-girlfriend how she's doing?

Sure is possible Zimmerman got himself amped up thinking trayvon was the guy breaking into people's houses and was armed and dangerous and he was looking for any excuse to use deadly force, because I believe the "I was simply walking back to my truck when Trayvon asked "Are you looking for trouble? You found it" before jumping me" version of the story about as far as I can throw Zimmerman.

But if you want to believe that story, and believe Trayvon was at fault for reacting hostile to a man who was following him for ever how long do me a favor tonight- drive around until you see someone walking outside off a main street- slow down so they know you're following them, stop and get out of your automobile and then act shocked when they don't act like you aren't freaking them out. Oh and bring your gun, you may have to shoot them.

The only one that seems to whining in this thread is you, as evidenced by your last post. The rest of us are discussing the case.

That's bullshit. You're getting butthurt over people calling Trayvon a 'child' and repeating yourself about how Zimmerman was "defending himself." LOL. You can stop fighting so hard for the child-killer now...the decision's already been made.....
