Yeah could be age, could be a "cultural" thing (I do not mean ethnically cultural). I know a lot of adult native English speakers who use what I consider to stupid "baby" terms for many things.

Also could be a translation thing, I do not know all of the slang words for body parts, or bodily functions on other languages.
