Which reminds me.....a guy on SM was like "So you're in Maryland? I know that because I looked up your IP address." :? Not the brightest idea admitting that to a cam model, dumbass.
How did he find out your IP address via SM? (You can send me a PM here if you want...)

I have no idea how any of that stuff works, but I think in bawksy's 'How to stalk a model' thread, people were explaining different methods. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

And I don't get why people want to know where a camgirl lives.

Nor do I. "Where do you live?" and "do you have a boyfriend?" are two that annoy me increasingly - as if the answer has any bearing on anything. Even if the model answers them, then what?

"Oh, I live nearby! Wanna meet up and fuck?"
"Nah"
"Oh, okay"

"Oh, you're single? So am I! Wanna fuck on your night off?"
"Nah"
"Oh, okay"

:?

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! :snooty:

He bought you the domain name 'playboymegan.com'?
Yes, without my permission!!!!!!!!!

My immediate thought was he was going to try to sell it to you. If he bought it as a gift, he'd have just given you the info you need to use it, no? I know there are companies/people who buy up domains they think will be popular in order to sell them, but targeting individual people seems kind of yuck.

Seriously, if you're gonna stalk someone the internet is the stupidest possible way to find someone close enough to stalk conveniently anyway.

The only reason I would actually care is to find out which timezone they're in because a lot of models say I'll be on at 4 pm and it'd be nice to know if that's actually 4 pm for me as well and you don't need anything as specific as their city for that.

I'm under the assumption he could get my IP if I go there.
The word "playboy" cannot be used without their consent for a web address anyways. So the whole thing was just way off.

That happened to me when I got into camming (3mos in). The guy kept contacting me, asking if I wanted to work for his team (a very popular adult model's team) and get under contract / have them build a solo site for me. I declined since I wanted to remain independent. He held onto it for a year and continued emailing me with their offers. Then I registered aedanrayne.net and he left me alone. He didn't reregister it after a year and I bought it myself.

I figured they might take issue with someone using their brand. I'm sure Playboy's legal department could get him to relinquish the domain pretty quickly.

It's probably the same dude, I doubt they all do it just once and then never again lol

That happened to me too. Now they're trying to sell me Lacielaplante.com for $100.
lol I'm very seriously thinking there's some dude/dudes out there who've noticed successful camgirls start websites sometimes, so he just buys any that go over a certain camscore.

Just now in LilyEvans room a guest showed everyone, as Lily put it, he does not know female anatomy.

I dont know why girls dont just buy the domain when they start camming, or even shortly after if it proves to be something they may want to keep doing. To me it was no different than investing in a good webcam. Not absolutely necessary I guess, but will likely pay off in the long term. Plus buying a domain (even with the anonymous proxy whatever security option needed) is silly inexpensive.

Pinkiepixi.com is alllll mine - with nothing on it even. Hell yeah. :D

So, there was this guy pestering this model to let him PM her because he had something "important" to ask. The model told him to just ask in public chat. He told her he had no speakers and asked again if he could PM her. While this was going on, people were tipping, which pissed him off greatly and prompted this gem...

Knock it the fuck off
im trying to talk to her

Haha :-D I did a genuine lol :shifty:

In this thread that one of my regulars found via Google, every single post is one big WTF. :(

http://www.ign.com/boards/threads/i-was ... 452489395/

Jealous guys. Jealous guys, everywhere.

Lol The Vestibule is the cesspool of the internet. IGN had the most popular message boards last decade, and they created a subscriber only section to the boards that people paid for just to get away from these trolls. I wouldn't worry about what anybody said about you there. :p

Lil while ago in Mary's room a 'member of the brain trust' posts this.... It's just wrong on so many levels.... :snooty:

chundles: this girl is so hot i want to cut her vag out with a knife, freeze it so i can microwave and fuck whenever i want forever and ever

I have two:

"You can tell me things about yourself you don't tell other guys. I'm your friend. You can trust me."
(I mention boundaries, potential stalkers, etc)
"What, do you think I'm like that? I thought we were friends, like real friends."
(I mention boundaries again, he gets butthurt and we end up having the dreaded meaning of a camgirl friendship talk)
FML.

A regular buys two large items off my wishlist.
The day that the items are supposed to arrive comes and goes.
I double check and the purchases have been cancelled.
The regular didn't tell me and has been receiving special treatment for a few days.
I understand that he may have not thought the purchases through and had to cancel.
I try to politely discuss the situation so we can figure out if/when the items will be reordered and move on if not.
All I get from him is, "I messed up my zip code"
DUDE, SERIOUSLY?

He may have been scamming you. This is a known Amazon wishlist scam that some guys will pull.

He buys an item off your wishlist, you're so excited that you send him some free videos (or give him a free Skype show) as a way of saying thank you, and then he cancels the order. So you end up getting nothing while he's gotten himself free videos (or a free Skype show).

So what a lot of models will do now is just wait 'til the wishlist item(s) actually arrive before sending the guy free videos.

Oh, I know! I never fall for that crap! Plus, I don't have any videos.

He's been a regular for a while, so I just prioritized his pm's and text him more often as the special treatment. We were going to have a Skype date AFTER the items arrived.
