Suggestions for models from members

I searched but didn't really see a topic that addresses this kind of thing. I want to make a thread where members can make suggestions for models. If this has been done to death already then feel free to delete this, I'm new here so I'm not sure. Anyway, as a member of MFC I have some suggestions for models so here goes

• Get an HD cam. I'm not watching somebody who's blurry and neither is anybody else. Need more proof, name one girl in the top 100 who doesn't have an HD cam. You can't.
  I hear some girls say they can't afford one, but they're only about 100 dollars. These same girls probably have a 200 dollar phone that costs 80 bucks a month. If you can afford internet, and a computer, you can afford an HD cam. If you can't, stay off the site until you can.
  
  When you're playing music on your laptop, you need to understand the speakers are close to the cam's mic, and the music is A LOT LOUDER for the guys watching you then it is for you. Also MFC has this weird thing where you have to reset the volume everytime you go into a new room. So the first thing I have to do every single time I go in a models room is immediately turn down the sound. It's annoying, so turn down the music. I've also noticed the top models don't seem to have this problem, I've never been blasted in the ears by some God awful dubstep crap when I go to GinnyPotter or Leas room. These girls are smart.
  
  Don't look at your phone when you're on cam. I'm going to repeat this because it bears repeating. STAY OFF THE PHONE WHEN YOU'RE ON CAM. As soon as a girl starts texting I know she's not interested in being on cam and I leave and usually never come back.
  
  Don't PM me if I don't know you. Definitely don't PM when I'm not in your room unless we're friends. It reeks of desperation and it just annoys me. It's fine if I get PM's from models who I do know, in fact it's nice. I wouldn't get upset if a friend called me at anytime of the day or night, but I'm not OK with telemarketers calling me ever.
  
  Don't beg for tips. Don't threaten either. It's fine if you say, well guys I'm going to get off here if we don't reach this countdown by such and such time. I understand you have a life. Hell it's probably better and more interesting than mine, so I understand if you have to be somewhere by 5, but don't say things like "Come on guys, if nobody tips I'm outta here!". That just annoys people, and makes us feel guilty. And it doesn't lead to more tips.
  
  You're in the customer service business, so don't come on cam if you're upset or annoyed, because it will show. I've seen so many girls, even ones I like, who were on cam when they really shouldn't have been. And they ended up taking their bad day out on the members. We've all had experience with a waiter who was upset and giving us the bum's rush when we were at their restaurant, and it sucks. But guess what, they don't get tipped very well at the end of the meal. I understand life sucks sometimes, but if you can't be on cam without the attitude, don't be on cam.
  

If any other members have suggestions please respond. I also have noticed that the top models every month are rarely ever guilty of the crimes I listed. I realize they're top models because they're beautiful and interesting, but they also don't do anything that could annoy a member, and I think this adds greatly to their appeal.

I am simply a user of this forum that's all. Just a little nobody, but I am throwing you a suggestion right now.

I know your new but here's a good suggestion, just ask to remove the post and take a look at the entire forum again. Maybe spend a little time before posting something like that up.
I am not being mean, I am not trying to be bossy either, believe me when I say this you need to look at this forum a little bit more.
It will do you good to see how things move around here and understand the flow of the forum. There is a tonne of nice ppl on here.

And if there is such a topic, it should be stickied. I think the advice a model could get from a member is just as important and useful as that she could get from another model. I also wish those people who didn't like my original post had more of an explanation than snark. Edgar Allan Whoa, great name by the way, had a good response, the rest I don't understand.

I know I didn't respond to your PM, but I'd appreciate it if we just talked right here for now.

We don't know you, and it's like you just came strolling into this forum for the sole purpose of creating a 'Here's my complaints about you models' thread. We've been getting new members on here lately who join the forum and then start creating threads listing all of the things that models do wrong, and telling models how to do their jobs. It's laughable. And I think we currently have a few different active threads on here about all the annoying things models do/WTF things that models say, etc.

Oh, and top models don't do anything that annoy a member? LOL. I doubt that. You make it sound like all top models are one and the same.

Models get tired of people telling them what to do all the time. Most of the advice is often obvious or is the teller's personal kink. Allow me to give you some non-snark advice though since you seem to desire some. Most computers have a main volume control mixer, and you can turn down the volume once instead of having to do it for every room. Not all models can not afford to drop $100 dollars for a new camera. A lot of models are friends with their regulars and need to talk to them when things are bad. You are not the center of the models life, and her offline life may need to get occasional attention, the same way I pay attention to mine at work sometimes by way of text messaging.

Please understand that most models know these things, but some don't or would need help. For instance we cant see our cam on your side. Nor can we tell how loud the music is at times. MFC doesn't tell us. If your girl needs a better cam maybe ask her about it, or buy her one. Im sure that would get you loads of thanks, and some content to boot Not every girl can afford $100 bucks at any given time. Especially new girls. As far as music volume all some have is their laptop for it and we cant't tell how loud it is for you. Just remember saying "Hey turn your crap music down" is far less inviting than "Hey is the music to loud for anyone else? I can barely hear her lovely voice." Maybe just asking the room and other joining in will let her know in a polite way.
As far as texting or picking up my phone i rarely do but sometimes it's another member (one who tips) tweeting me so I will answer if i can. I'm quick though. I agree that just sitting texting is rude though. If im watching a new girl i give her a bit before clicking next. I don't expect them though to just never pick up a phone, things happen, sometimes important emergency things, so it's to be expected in real life.
As far as coming on upset i fully disagree with you. I came on a few days last year very upset over issues and my guys appreciated seeing a different side of me. I let them into my own personal world and life when i did that. I did show i was upset, i cried, and what i got from them was support. I didnt take my bad day out on them, or give attitude, it was just the real me. Normally im a happy bouncy bubble of fun times, but they enjoyed seeing that i am a real girl, with real tears. It made me approachable for quiet a few, and im glad i did it.

There are two types of advice out there. The stuff that the successful models already know and give out freely to the other models, and the stuff that's based on personal preference, which we still give out to other models as a "here's some things that work in some rooms".

As was already stated, some successful models DO get on camera when they've had a bad day. But they don't take it out on the members. They tell the members, sure. They cry with the members, sure, but they don't take it out on them. This is because in some of the models' rooms, there is a community, and it helps the members see us as real girls, instead of fake ones.

The HD webcams... well, many that advertise as being HD are pieces of shit. Some of the worst video feeds are probably from where the model bought a $100 lifecam thinking it would be worth the money, and they found out differently. It's not about buying an HD camera. It's about buying a LOGITECH camera. The webcam pro 9000 is not HD, but plenty of models have found that it gives a great video feed.

And yeah, you're right if the model does have the $200 phone and the $80/month cell phone bill. But many models out there don't have that. Shit, when I graduated from college, my parents paid my cell phone bill for the first... uh... 2, 2.5 years. In fact, they were still paying it when I started camming. I was lucky, when I started camming. I had been given the 9000 as a gift a couple years before I started camming. So I already had the startup. But, at that point, I had been out of work for 2 months. I didn't have a cent. So if I hadn't had that camera, I would've been using the shitty built-in webcam on my laptop until I could afford a new camera with my webcam earnings.

I appreciate you trying to help, I really do. But honestly, everything you've said has already been mentioned in other threads.

I, for one, appreciate your effort, Malek. I can see it was not your intention to piss off everyone here. But I agree with every other poster, and have become a little offended, too. But it's ok. You weren't trying to do that. I get it. Anything you've thought of, these girls have been obsessing over and perfecting forever. And I've been reading about all of these suggestions (on these forums no less) for a week, almost non stop.

Think about it from the model's end. She is bored that nobody's in her room, so she picks up her phone and wastes time on it. We sit there and dance for an hour and just watch people come into our room for a second and type, "hey bb nice bod show me ur ass" ... We can see they have no tokens... It gets frustrating. With nobody speaking for a half an hour in our room, we run out of things to say to the camera that nobody is listening to. We pick up our phone, because we are bored.

We get disheartened that nobody is there. And then we get sad when someone who was tipping has to leave because it's taking so much time from them and they feel like they're not getting they're token's worth...

Trust me. All your suggestions fall on deaf ears who have already heard all of this before. If you're here to encourage us, make us laugh, and sometimes think of what it's like to be us, then please stay a while (and listen...lol...I can never just say "stay a while" any more)!

Just on a random note, not all of these things necessarily equate to success either. There are more tricks to being a great camgirl than just having a great camera, not texting while camming, or not begging for tips. There's more to it than being in HD, or being in the best mood ever. "Top model" this and "top model" that. Not everyone cares about being a top model because life is different for every girl on there. Some do it for fun; some do it to pay the bills. And yes, some of them do it for the competition of being a top model.

These seem to be revolved around you and what you prefer. Don't want to hang around because she quickly answered a text? Good for you; gtfo. Frankly, you seem like the type of guy I wouldn't want in my room. To say someone is "guilty of the crimes" you listed makes you come across as a pompous jackass.

Also, my phone is an "expensive phone", but it didn't cost me a dime because I upgraded with my plan. :dance:
