So many times I have gotten tip notes where - just as Amber said - the guy said, "Don't add this towards the countdown, it's just because." And then everyone else yelled at me because they didn't get free tits.

MyFreeCams public chat must be a freeloader's dream...lol. I remember one time I got a tip, and then some other premium (who DID NOT tip) said to me "Okay, you've gotten a lot of tips tonight, so you can get naked now."

I'm not denying the fact that some models are scammers. In some situations it's uncalled for, as when she does not deliver any content or show after she promised to.

Those silly boys can't be trusted with their own money!

This.

If all the model cares about is how much money she can get out of your wallet, and she's willing to make false promises to get that money, then you'll soon learn your lesson the first time she rips you off. Anyone with common sense will not return and spend on her again, after being ripped off by her once already.

There are hundreds of models (sometimes over 1,000) logged onto MFC at any given time...don't waste anymore time in Ms-I-Suck-You-Dry-BB's room...lol. Click 'Next Model' and spend your money on models who are legit, honest, and actually care about their chatters. There's plenty of them out there.

And the one recurring thing you hear in model's room for the last 5 months ?
Why's it so quiet, why is no one tipping ?
Well maybe the percentage of guy's that have been ripped off on MFC has increased and they are doing what Frankie stated and are watching for a certain period time before they decide to tip or not.
Today I went into 4 model rooms I don't normally frequent and guess what, 2 of them blatantly scammed.
The first was 19 tokens away from a 2000 topic, took a private and came back with new topic, no show.
The second was tipped 300 tokens by one guy for her topic to get naked and she promptly banned him and no he was not rude to her or anything like that.
So it's not only huge tips that are being taken but also small ones and many times over.
Maybe the models should be more concerned and not have the attitude just click next because I'm sure the models that scam guys are costing all the other models revenue and the reputation of MFC.
How many new models ( Not new models that have been offline tipped before even coming on cam ) starting with a 1000 camscore have made a success ? Not many I would bet.
Other peoples spending habits are no concern of mine but when people lose money that's just worrying.

This makes absolutely no sense, unless the dude said something incredibly disturbing in his hidden tip note.

I agree that it is not the strategy of many models to block big tippers for no reason. But we can't know what actually happened.

Yeah, some comments I'd consider disturbing would be.....

"Can you bring your kid on cam with you right now?"

"If I was in your neighborhood I'd rape you good."

ETC.

On the note of the girl who gets most of the money, leaves for an hour, and then comes back with a new countdown...

When I leave for an hour and come back, 99% of the people in my room after the break were not there for the original countdown. Why should I not start over when none of the people who tipped for the countdown are there anymore?

All this is why I'm not going to be doing countdowns in my room when I get back on MFC. It will be a simple "tip xx for xx" menu in my profile, along with a list of things available in private and how groups work (I do what I want, same as public tips for requests of things I'd do in public, and a list of prices for other things if I'm not already doing them, along with things like "once I do anal, the show ends as soon as the anal ends" and "spreads must wait until after I cum".)

I get on during the afternoon and usually have a goal of nekkid or topless. I stay on for about two hours while I play video games and sometimes I can get my goal around 700 tokens (down from 2,000 tokens). When it is time for me to leave, I take a break for about two hours and then I come back, go to the room I cam in and put up a new goal.

I am not about to leave 700 tokens on the countdown for a NEW group of people to tip towards.

If I am online for 3 hours and I can't make my 1,200 token goal and I end up somewhere around 500 tokens left, I tell them they have 15-20 minutes to help me reach my goal or I am going to log off OR I am going to put the 1,200 goal back up. There's NO reason whatsoever that I cannot, as someone that engages my room, make at LEAST 1,000 tokens an hour.

I certainly should be able to make a 1,000 tokens towards a goal of naked or show within an hour to an hour and a half depending on traffic.

They all know I don't work for free. They know I have bills to pay and if I am not making any money then there is no real reason to stay unless they are talking and we are having fun.

With that being said, it's been slow as motherfucking molasses in Antarctica in my room lately. I dunno da fuck why, but no one is talking, no one is tipping, so when I have an EASY goal up of less than 2,000 tokens and I am online for two hours already and I can't make the goal, I am leaving.

I don't OWE it to you to stay, you CHOSE to tip me, and if my conversation and occasional titty flashes aren't enough for you, then chances are you are in the wrong room. The fact is that models somewhere out there will scam, they will trick and they will lie. Complaining about it will never change that.

Whenever I don't finish a countdown, I always receive a lot of pressure to continue it the next time I'm online.

Like everyone else said, it is unreasonable to expect that once a single token has been tipped towards the countdown, the model must continue it forever and ever until it is complete, regardless of how long it takes her.

When a model gets 1500 tokens out of a 2k countdown, if she continues the countdown later, it doesn't mean she still gets 2000 tokens for a show. She will make far less per hour for the same quality tits.

When I worked at a deli, I would not have been pleased if my boss said, "I know I promised you $8 this hour, but here's four. And you don't get $8 for the next hour either, you get $4 more to complete your wages for the first hour (so in reality you make nothing for an hour of work) and when we get to hour three, we'll see what happens."

Oh also, for every hour I make less my employee score goes down and I might get fired.

The countdown contract is clear: The room tips x amount of tokens, and a show happens. If x is not reached, the show does not happen. The model is under no obligation to do a cheaper show just because the room did not tip x the first time around.

Most models are highly aware of their time constraints. I use timers, and I know I'm not the only one.

Also - as mentioned - if group A doesn't pay for a show, there is no reason group B should get it for 75% off. If a model leaves for hours or comes back the next day, the same people will not be there, excepting some regulars.

For me If I dont make my topic any big tippers I send them videos pics or offer a free show. Otherwise I keep my word!

Problem is bc there are so many scammers if I lose my internet or something I get oh she scammed us and unless a regular is there to defend me it makes me look bad.

Wifi isn't always reliable and for that matter neither is MFC. 2x this week i was in a show that messed up. One I got naked and didnt kno the chat was frozen bc it looked ok on my end. Another time i was in group and look at all the cum im shouting...again froze but looked ok on my end the guys missed it!

I think most people who hang around for a few weeks understand this. Those that don't probably never will.

There is already built in motivation for a model not to abuse the system: people won't come back.

I have seen a few models do scammy/sneaky things with how they handled countdowns. The worst, imho, being when they reach a countdown for a show, and a few minutes into the show they are saying they'll only finish it in private.

But that can only work for so long, and it seems to me that the only way to "make it" in this line of work is to build up your reputation and your regulars.

So while it definitely sucks getting "scammed" in this way, I think members can take heart in knowing that the model is dooming herself in the long run.

Just had a model tell me she thought that she had added me to skype, someone was pretending to be me. Do such things happen around a model often, besides taking credit for anonymous tips? In this case, think the guy wanted to trash my name with her, jealousy (I recently got some bad messages from guys in her room).

Scamming members is bad but different members have different expectations. Say a guy tips 10 toks do doggy bb a member might say you are a scammer because you didn't fulfil his 10 token doggy bb request.
Yes it's annoying when guys expect you to carry on your countdown from two hours ago A popular theme in my room is people tip for tits then nakey then not a sausage when I'm doing a show countdown I'm not going to stay online for four hours if we aren't progressing to the next countdown. I come back in my underwear and start my show countdown again this time removing clothing at certain milestones.

I have also heard a lot about models scamming etc. I don't know what happens so haven't got much to say on it, besides that if it's done intentionally, then yes I think that is very wrong, and really can't believe it goes on. I'd say, get to know the model a bit before, and if she does that deliberately, never go into her room again!

In my room sometimes people just refuse to tip for the countdown, I can't stay on forever, and quite often it ends up that all the guys who tipped for the countdown have left! So actually I'm in a room full of freeloaders who haven't tipped and don't plan on it, just waiting for someone nice to tip the rest.

I hate not finishing countdowns because finishing countdowns usually brings other people into the room, creates a good vibe, people are happy.

If I didn't finish a countdown and I come on in an hours time, the people in the room have mostly totally changed. Why should these people who haven't tipped get a cheaper show because a few people who aren't online anymore tipped earlier? And if the tippers are back online but had chosen to leave before, then they accepted that loss when they left! If they were still in the room and everyone else were refusing to tip the last stretch of the countdown and I had to leave, for what they've spent there is other merchandise like videos etc.

Countdowns are always a risk. If the model is continuing to and deliberately setting high countdowns so she never has to do anything, then she's eventually not going to do very well. But sometimes we just get bad nights.

As for banning, yes I have heard lots of people complain about being banned for no reason or after tipping. I personally have never banned anyone for no reason.

I have also (only twice) had guys coming into my room and complaining about the end of the countdowns not being good enough, and both times it was freeloaders complaining that me and my friends didn't fuck each other on cam when we came online together. Well the countdowns never said we'd do anything of the sort! sometimes guys get different ideas in their heads what we should be doing.
And I've only just run straight after a countdown, which was a naked countdown, reached it, got a phonecall from a drunk friend, and as I was buggering off and everyone had been wonderful with tipping and chatting, I did a quick cumshow to make up for it.

This!! So true about working in the deli! It does put it in perspective.
I don't get why guys think the countdowns should automatically continue! I mean yeah, great for guys on the doll who have nothing to do all day except perve for free on mfcs, but most tippers have long gone! new crowd!

Hahahaha! You guys would HATE my room! I'm the biggest scammer when it comes to topics! Sometimes, just for kicks, I'll put something like "DP show in 37,777 tokies!" (Knowing there is no way in HELL that I could ever make that many tokies... I don't do public shows, so the regs know it's a joke)

Best night ever? Set the topic as "Donkey Show XX,XXX tokies!" Long story short, my regulars decided to band together and as we were nearing the goal... the best quote of the night was me saying "Now where the FUCK am I gonna get a donkey at 2 in the morning?" Let me just say that NO, there was not any actual bestiality involved... but that was a HILARIOUS night.

And I agree with Amber; if you're not having fun, just find something else that will be more fun. Don't waste your time being miserable. Happiness is a choice.

I have seen more and more new girls online lately, and more and more of the models are doing this very thing.

For me I am now very hesitant about tipping models I have never saw before.

I am just affriad this kind of stuff if it keeps happening is going to take away some good tippers from MFC and damage the MFC name more then it is now.

So tonight I found myself at "The Hut" for a soda and a slice. When suddenly I heard the table next to me order some cheese bread. I was so stoked I love me some cheese bread. So i'm waiting for my food, took forever there was this group of ten that ordered right before me. I was like what the eff why you helping them, I mean i'm just one dude, I know they got there before me but come on, i'm more important then them. So long story short my soda and slice shows up, and no effing cheese bread. I specifically heard them order it where the eff is my cheese bread! Came right home to vent about it can you believe that shit. Worst part is next time I go I bet they still try to make me pay for cheese bread if I want even though I never got it this time. Life is so unfair, be warned pizza places will scam you!
