Hello all,

First things first, I created this account specifically for this thread. Ive been a lurker for a while but now I had to post because, well, I was hoping to get some advice.

Ill try to keep this as short as possible. I met a camgirl on mfc a few weeks ago and she seemed like a nice and sweet girl. A little over a week ago, I purchased content from her and was told that Id be receiving the content after she finished her show. I didnt get it that day.

The next day, I messaged her on mfc about not receiving anything, and she gave me her cell number and texted me the photos but no videos. After some back and forth, she told me that she had to reshoot the videos and would send them when she did. She sent some small clips through text in the meantime.
Eventually, this conversation lead to her asking for me to loan her money because she needed a hotel to stay in or she would have nowhere to go. I bought her story and ended up buying her a hotel two nights in a row. Looking back, Im not sure how I could be so stupid.

Through it all, she insisted that she would pay me back but everytime the subject was brought up, I got some lame excuse. Her check didnt clear, her dog needed food, her phone was broken. She would literally vanish for days and only turn up when she wanted more money. I was patient and cool for almost a week.

Last Friday, I got a message saying that she would pay me back that night. I never received anything. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, I messaged her to ask what was up and got no answers until I saw her log on to mfc Monday night. I messaged her, pushed her a little bit on the issue, and then she just completely loses her shit on me, promising to pay me back last night. Of course, that didnt happen.

I saw her online today and, admittedly, I started messaging the other users in her room to warn them of her scammy ways. This lead to her suddenly being able to text again where she insulted and threatened to slander me on ACF if I didnt stop. I created this thread mainly because of these threats.

Im over the money being taken, to be honest. I just dont like sitting there on mfc while she is probably scamming others. My question would be: what other options do I have? Everything took place outside of mfc. All transactions were Paypal (send to friends and family so Paypal doesnt protect). I did report her but I dont expect them to be able to do anything unless shes a repeat offender. Anyone ever run into something like this before?

i don't even know if posting MFC names is allowed on here.. but at this point it would be a he-said-she-said so i doubt anyone would care. who knows which one of you is telling the truth?

but as far as your money goes i think you are screwed m8. if this is all true i'd say block her on everything so she can only contact you on MFC that way maybe you can report her threats to them, and have actual proof of your story. just an idea

Paypal is not an adult friendly payment method and generally if they find out any one in the industry is using it they will shut down not only your model account but any personal accounts tied to it as well. You probably won't get your money back but don't think that they wont do anything.

So. Basically. What's done is done man. Can't change it. You could warn every member that ever entered her room again, but it would just be a waste of time. You can't really blame the girl if you bought the story. Essentially, that's what you paid for. Is it a shitty way to make money? Sure. But obviously it works sometimes and they're likely to not change that hustle. It's not worth getting upset over and making a scene.

And this is coming from a guy who has definitely made some scenes so I know how you feel lol.

Way to soon, you are stressed, you stressed the model. I don't think about sending a reminder on mfc for at least a week.

Yes, you are stupid loaning money. The situation creates even more stress for both sides. Why not give the money with mfc tips? Or simply say 'no' to the loan.

How could you think that this is a good idea? Like ever? You don't give her any options with such a shitty action.

Send her an apology for stressing her out. Write the money off to experience....yet better still, unconditionally give the money by letting her know you don't require it back or anything else. You are not going to get it back anyway because of your attitude and contacting her other users, so that helps you draw a line under the situation.

You should be able to get your money back if it's PayPal. They don't allow adult transactions and typically reverse them if they find out about them. You could name her if it makes you feel better. It might stop others from being scammed. If she posts here though, then it's likely she'll post her side of the story. Be sure you're on the right side of this before you name anyone.

For reals though, if someone is asking you to pay for their hotel stay after you've paid them for content that they haven't yet delivered, and yo you do it, then camsites might not be the best place for you. Even if it's all a big misunderstanding and the model was truly planning to pay you back and send you your content, you might be too easy a target for models who actually are looking to scam members. You're probably better off removing yourself from the equation entirely.

It's shitty this happened & I'm sorry it did, but maybe take it as a lesson not to give more when someone already owes you. Even if they seem sincere. This is why I tend to warn people about model/member "friendships". It's one thing to friendly and tip for a show or content, it's a whole 'nother to expect a model to hyperfocus on you (which is just an example, not an accusation) or in your case, expect a member to be your bail out guy.

It sucks, but now you definitely know what not to do from here on out in your porny/camming fun.

Send her an apology for stressing her out.

Dude gets scammed twice, and lied to for weeks. And you want him to apologize to her??? Gotta say that was a clunker piece of advice there.

She told him she'd have the content to him that night. She didn't. I would have messaged her the next day too. I wouldn't have been rude about it, but I would have inquired about it for sure. She then scams more money out of him. Yes, he's a stupid fuck, there's no doubting that. Sorry OP, that's just the way it is. But that's no excuse for to continue to lie about not getting the video he originally ordered, nor the money he loaned her, back to him.

IF all is as he said it here, and who really knows without hearing her side of it too of course, then she's a scam artist. She deserves no apology. She deserves being kicked off every cam site in existence before she continues to give other cam models a bad name. Fuck the bitch, and fuck an apology.

I'm sorry but everyone should go into these situation eyes wide open and know that there are risks for all parties in this relationship. The biggest risks are for the models (usually) depending on where they are. Many of us have had a situation where we may have felt we didn't get something we paid for in life (and Cam world). But in this industry my sympathy is generally for the model and the customers should just move on, take it on the chin and go elsewhere. Its hardly a regulated industry with standards of supply and expectations. We (the consumer) need to know that and behave accordingly without ever attacking the models or undermining their livelihood their work or their lives. Think about where the power lies. The power lies with you buying sexual serivces. I don't have the same sympathy for sites, billers, studios and other players who often exploit the models

I wrote a lengthy follow up yesterday but it hasn't been pushed through yet. I know I'm still in initiation but can't figure out what's wrong with this post. Is there a way to contact someone to figure out if I broke the rules with that post?

Yeah, I thought about it but ultimately decided not to because I didnt want to start a he-said-she-said. It would likely turn into a shouting match and nothing would actually be accomplished.

I do have proof in my text messages but stuff like that is easily faked and passed around so that also seems pointless. I would need to show her cell phone number and have someone else verify that it is indeed her cell phone number. Im not going to go through all of that. After sleeping on it, Im caring less and less.

Ahahaha, Thanks for the tips.
And for some clarification, last night was a one time only thing. Im not going to stalk this girl every time she logs on so that I can ruin her night. It was a spur of the moment thing after reaching my breaking point on Monday, over a week after this whole thing started.

Way to soon, you are stressed, you stressed the model. I don't think about sending a reminder on mfc for at least a week.
I take most models at their word. And, for the most part, the bulk of them send the stuff minutes after payment. The ones who dont will do it in a few hours. Before this girl, I never had to wait more than a day.
Point is, she said "15 minutes". I gave her around 23 hours.before sending a friendly message.

Yes, you are stupid loaning money. The situation creates even more stress for both sides. Why not give the money with mfc tips? Or simply say 'no' to the loan.

Im dumb. Naive. Gullible. Whatever word you want to use, Im it. But they say that hindsight is 20/20 and I have a shitload of it now.

How could you think that this is a good idea? Like ever? You don't give her any options with such a shitty action.

But what options do I have? I get that I willingly paid for content. I willingly gave her more money. All that is on me. But I was still taken advantage of. I might be biased, but Im a pretty nice person. I felt like she recognized that kindness and saw an opportunity. I admit that I wanted to stick it to her a little bit while also extending a helping hand out to the other people she might be conning that night.

Send her an apology for stressing her out. Write the money off to experience....yet better still, unconditionally give the money by letting her know you don't require it back or anything else. On Monday, when I mfc mailed her my paypal, I simply said "Im sorry things worked out this way". A pretty hollow apology but I feel like thats all its worth. She has the money I sent her. I dont feel like she deserves much more than that.

You should be able to get your money back if it's PayPal. They don't allow adult transactions and typically reverse them if they find out about them. You could name her if it makes you feel better. Paypal already told me that they wont do anything. The money was labeled as "send to friends and family" which isnt protected with paypals buyer protection thing.

And regarding your last point, I dont know. Ive been on these sites for a while. Id say that 99% of my experiences are great. There was a few times where I was almost scammed but I catch these before they happen. I didnt catch it this time and thats all on me. You live and you learn. I think its best that I just move passed it.

It's shitty this happened & I'm sorry it did, but maybe take it as a lesson not to give more when someone already owes you. Even if they seem sincere. Yes, thank you. I see that now. This girl even said things along the lines of "Youre a really nice person and I can totally see you being someone I could talk to". Its funny that you use the word "hyperfocus" because, looking back, she definitely seemed hyperfocused for a bit. Until she didnt need me anymore.

I am friendly with other models and I think its pretty cool but none of them EVER pulled this shit with me. I guess I got too complacent.

Dude gets scammed twice, and lied to for weeks. And you want him to apologize to her??? Gotta say that was a clunker piece of advice there.

100% agree with everything you said, including the part where you call me a fucking idiot :p

This thread is honestly feeling a little pointless right now since Ive decided to not share her name. I guess I wanted to just get it out there because she was threatening to put my name on here. Ill leave this little bit from Monday when the "falling out" happened. You tell me if Im a dick or a bully based on these messages. If Im out of line, Id like to know.

For context, Friday (6 days after the original content purchase) at 10:20pm, she texts me and says "I can pay you back later this evening on paypal if thats ok. I can do 200 for now. Thanks so much for everything. Seriously."
I was asleep at this time because I was taking a trip Saturday.
At 7:14am Saturday, I gave her my Paypal email. No answer.
Sunday at 10:48am, I text her "Hey, I didnt get the email with those videos yet". No answer.
Sunday at 4:17pm, I text her "Are you getting my messages". No answer.
Monday at 4:58pm, I text her "Hey, Im sorry for sending you another text but Im starting to think that youve just been blowing smoke up my ass the past week. I know youve been on mfc but, for some reason, you cant answer my texts. If you have no plans to send me the content that I paid for or to reimburse me the money that I loaned you, can you just tell me? Dont string me along." No answer.

Then I see that she is online so I PMed her. Thats when this happened:

https://i.imgur.com/P3EOAwJ.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/xxu6BWg.jpg

Towards the bottom of the second image, youll see that I sent her my paypal email again. At this point, she logged off and back on. Maybe she was having connection issues? Or maybe she was going to use that as an excuse for not getting my message. Thats when I mfc mailed it to her because then I would be able to see and prove that she read it. She did. Shortly after, that, she sent me the "I got your message, let me finish camming" and then she banned me.

Believe it or not, at this point, I STILL had a small shred of hope that she would send it. It never happened. I was bouncing around the idea of just letting it go and eating my losses but the next day is when I got the ill-advised idea to message people in her room. Thats when this happens:

Again, If I was out of line, please tell me. I try my best to be nice but my patience was reeeallly wearing thin here. Still, I think I handled it ok all things considered.

Thanks for the advice, tips, kicks in the ass, slaps in the face, and for letting me vent.

Very much this, she is abusing people, which in turn abuses what we work so hard to do, create a trusting and happy environment for fans...Spesh when they pay ahead for getting custom content..

Sorry you had to go through this, put it down to a lesson learned :) - i hope you can claim your money back, if you give sufficient evidence that she is an adult worker and report her to paypal, it will shut her account down with any money she has in there asap, not sure if they will give you your money back... but it will make things difficult for her..

It's a very regulated industry, and content video market places are here for a reason.
I've been working with trusted colleagues in C4S, Manyvids, Customs4u, and MFC to name but a few.
If there is a bad apple, everyone will assist you. This is the only industry and community I know in which models and content creators are willingly compliant, transparent and meeting all regulation standards above and beyond.
Just see how supporting and helpful are the models on this thread, and you can see that the vast majority are honest.

Thanks to both.

This hasnt soured me on camgirls at all. I take each experience by itself. One bad egg doesnt ruin the whole batch.

For example, last week, I was talking about this same subject with another camgirl....a really cool and interesting girl that I met on mfc a few weeks ago. She gave me her input and just let me vent. I appreciate that. A few days later, I bought 3 of her videos on mfc share. She threw in a 4th for free just because she felt bad about what happened. She wanted to prove to me that not all camgirls are bad and was willing to just give up a video to do that. I didnt ask for it but she did it just because shes just a cool person.

Thats the kind of thing that keeps me coming back.
And I do plan on paying her for that video anyway when I can :p

I normally don't like it when someone outs a model but if she really did what you say I think she deserves to be named here so anyone who reads gives her zero business.

I work fucking hard on my content and custom videos and it pisses me off when someone in our industry is so unprofessional.

We have run into this type of situation before, both personally and through stories from other members.

We agree that this is not the location for naming names. If you do feel that others should be warned, feel free to DM us (@MemberBlasts) to discuss. We can at least review the evidence and if we agree that you have been outright scammed (and that looks to be the case), we can at least keep you anonymous and post the blast / warning to others via our account to hopefully reduce the number of people she's able to scam.

So much advice, all I'd add is this. Scamming is receiving the cash - and there are ways to help without giving cash; i.e. paying for the hotel room directly.
Sure some will point out safety/privacy as you'd know where they stay for 1 night, but everything has it's trade off.

Helping doesn't have to be direct cash, and if they don't like the alternative i'd say it's an indicator the cash is the important thing, the cover story is a bluff.
