Hi ladies!
My name is Blaze (well, stage name) and Ive decided to be a part time webcam model in addition to my part time "normal" job. I'm a 20 yr old gay man looking to market my "alternative" pierced/tattooed look. I have a question; I searched the forums but found nothing. I'm thinking about starting with Pandora Entertainment. I don't know if we can post links here so if you're interested just search "pandora webcam modeling" on Google. Is this a studio or agency ? Even if it is I know they help you get started so their training might help and I could always sign up for streamate if Pandora isn't good. Does anyone have any experience with Pandora Live Models? Please let me know. Thanks! :)

Don't sign up with a studio. Whatever 'training' they provide isn't going to be worth giving up a % of your earnings and not having control over what you do on cam - a lot of them will also have you sign an exclusivity contract that says if you leave the studio, you won't be able to work on the site you were using for a year (or sometimes even more), which is how models get 'stuck' in studios. It's all around a bad, bad idea! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

You should sign up directly through Streamate or Chaturbate (those are the direct links to sign up to each site, respectively), watch other male models and what they do/how they run their rooms, and figure out what you're comfortable performing before logging on for the first time. You can also check out our Male Cammodels Thread for some awesome links and to use to ask any questions you might have! :)

Thanks for your reply! The thing is I don't know if pandora is a studio, agency, or just a separate site. Do you know exactly what it is? It looks like a studio to me but I just want to be sure.

Honestly? It doesn't matter which one it is (though after a quick Google, it seems to be both?) It's not one of the large mainstream camsites; they claim to have 4 million 'unique' visitors per month that frequent their models... I can tell you that sites like Streamate/Chaturbate have AT LEAST 50-75 million unique visitors per month (and probably many, many more than that, I'm guesstimating low.) So basically you'd be tied down to a site with NO traffic, with them taking a % of your earnings for pretty much nothing.

Again, sign up directly through one of the major camsites (which I linked for you above), check out other guys cams, read all the info in the Male Cammodel thread, and go from there. :thumbleft:

Pandora is a studio. They signed me up on flirt4free, which is the site they're affiliated with. practically no traffic compared to other sites

Do they have an exclusivity in there contracts? I'm most likely going to go with streamate but hypothetically could I sign up with pandora and then work there for a while, then just switch to streamate whenever id like to? Maybe even alternate them just to get a feel for which one I like better? I like the idea of being clothed in public chat and going into private to do the explicit stuff

I still cam on flirt4free occasionally. No one has said anything to me about switching to MFC or streamate (which today was on my first day on SM) I think the only thing is you can't cam on two sites at the same time, BUT if you want to do flirt4free, don't use the studio. Jordan's nice but he doesn't actually do anything to help you and just takes part of your profit

Just go there and sign up instead

There really is NO reason to sign up with a studio.

Just sign up directly with the sites you want to cam on. Period. End subject.

Amber is completely right. I wish I had known better when I first started
