I'd just like to say that out of my 20 top active tippers the count of them that have quit MFC in the past month is up to 6 (that have informed me they are not going to tip me on MFC anymore or can't access the site). This shows how much the recent crashes and issues with the site have driven away members. At least for me.
I personally have had serious issues with the broadcaster either not working or logging me out at random. I also sometimes don't show up as online when I am in fact broadcasting. The past few days have been fine, I haven't done a show but I've tested the broadcaster and it seems to work okay. I hope it stay that way.
My room count is about half what it was before the crashes, which is in part my fault since I went to stream at a different site for a while. But also, these factors are definitely contributing to the slowness of MFC for me.
If the site continues to have issues and go down at random times and fail to solve broadcaster issues for their models, I forsee these numbers continuing to go down. If things continue to work like they have been for the past few days, I think MFC will gain it's traffic back in no time. Essentially, I'm just riding it out and also focusing on my twitch streams more until these issues are resolved. I've thought about other camsites, but I just don't have the energy to put in the hours to build up another following right now (especially since I'm doing that with twitch already). I think these next few months will be crucial to my decision to keep MFC as my main-earning site. Though I'm sure I'll never totally quit the site, it is currently too scary to trust it as my main earner.
