Interesting question ... i think it really depends on your position and on how much you made that month....
I am at the moment in position #8, which is a lot better than I expected being the first full month on my new account...I love the last day of this month this month ..Financially it was a good month after a month that sucked in May ( the reason I had to change my account) in which I almost made nothing in a fall out with an agent I used and NO pay out.....
When I was going for #1 in February the last day was frightening ...#1 , #2 off and on with Shyteenn breathing down your neck does not make for a relaxing last day.. This month I am totally relaxed..#7,8 or 9 who cares #1-3 is impossible knowing what those girls did so I make it a fun day ..watch CandieCane take #1..try to make some extra money and hope for a small miracle and maybe yet getting into the top 5...lol.... Like I said it really depends on how good your month was....and for girls being at 22, 23 it will be different and if you had a lousy month financially you probably are happy a new month starts ...

I find it slow too. I've learnt from my mistakes now, before I used to be really lazy, and then wait for the last week or less in the payment period to make my rent money, and I'd always have problems making anything the last few days of the month, and not have enough for rent and stuff! So now I do the opposite and try and be on more at the start(around the 1st and 16th) rather than at the end of both payment periods, coz I don't know if more people are on around the 16th too, to try and make as much as possible for that period.

The thing about the last day being so slow for some is that at times during the last couple of days of a month, there could be as many as 1500 or even 2000 models online at one time. So you're competing with so many more models at one time just for attention that it makes it very hard, especially for those further down the model list.
Angelic's point about working harder at the start of pay periods is actually very smart for any model who's working on building a camscore. Get what you can in the first 3-5 days of a pay period and if you can succeed in that, then you don't have to panic as much at the end of the period.

I agree with Mila, the last day of the month really depends on your goals for that month.
If it is high ranking you're aiming for, and you're in the top 5, you're probably pretty anxiety ridden to either hold your spot or get a better one and survive the day with other girls' members coming in to start shit.
If you're just trying to meet a monthly $ goal, it can probably be frustrating with how many models log on that day. Whether it causes MFC crashing issues or just takes more focus off of you, it affects you.
This month I am stoked. I am extremely happy with my rank and only hope to keep it in tact if I log on today. I am in no way trying to bump Mila out of 8th. I'm excited to be right there with her. :romance-admire:

Heh, I'll probably be taking it off in the future (been off line for the past week due to other issues) because it doesn't sound like fun, unless you already have a following. Rather curious as to why so many girls jump on. Last ditch attempt to boost their take home cut?

I usually work the last day of the month but don't have high expectations. I'm just trying to make the most I can before I get paid!

I despise the last day of the month. Its the day where randoms tend to pop in and be like "ooooh xxxxxx model just got tipped 20k in ONE TIP!" ....while I sit there and deal with the regular beggars. Totally makes me feel like scum and its totally rude for guys to go announcing when another girl is raking it in, while others sit there in the knowledge that you're going to bed empty handed lol. If that all makes sense. Alot of crazy tipping happens on the last day of the month, and while I'm happy for the other girls, it sucks having it flashed in your face by the fans of those girls.

I personally try to avoid talking about any model besides the one whose room I am in unless she brings it up. Guess it's a shame not everyone shares my method.
English Guy, yes I did ...only a very small part ( not like a studio taking like 50% like a lot of Romanian girls)..but still they got paid by MFC and were supposed to pay me out ...which they did for 9 months until they ripped me off for a $$$ amount the size of a small car....I am working on that now and it seems that I will get the money back ..but still....I get paid by MFC directly now..
Yes guys coming in telling the huge amount of token tips some girls get is annoying and disrespectful to other models ..I agree...

Yeah, it is so annoying anytime of month. And then you have the guys who come in and say "Why aren't you in the top 20?" and its like you stay in my room enough, I don't have the tokens flowing in here like they do in their rooms. Its like gpoifusoidf dumb question. LOL
The responses were pretty much what I expected. No matter where you are at on the ladder, the last day of the month is more of a pain in the ass than it is a good thing.
My reson for asking the question in the 1st place is, that I as a non-model member try to avoid the last day too! Many models, even ones that I consider friends do things on that day that they normally wouldn't do, including begging. It's kinda sad when someone that has been on sparsely during the rest of the month expects to make an unrealistic amount in 1 night, along with the things they are willing to do to get it to pay their RL bills. To each her own, but I think more girls need to treat this like a real job and put in steady week by week WORK instead of scrambling the day before a pay period ends.

Freq, that is true, you see girls on the last few days of the pay period that stay on for 14 hours a day to pay their bills. haha.
At the end of last month, I saw a model claim that at midnight, MFC would totally crash. She was wrong then. But we know now, she was just a month early.
I should add that MFC has sent me to the "connecting to MyFreeCams" screen 5 times in the last 11 minutes now.

lol...one of the reasons I stopped my set 4 hours ahead , very few girls online , I missed a lot of regulars and still MFC lagged...
This must have been the tamest month ever when it comes to the fight for #1....a straight 1 to 31 win for Candie........What I heard with a token total over the 1 million mark.... So it never really was a competition ...lol.. I am very interested in seeing if her hardcore base really tipped away their second mortgages to keep her at #1...Congrats to Candie ...we never will be friends (too much happened for that in February) ..but her run was impressive

This was my first full month on MFC. The highest I got to was #99 for a few hours then it was back down to #104. I have no idea where i finished in the end but ive been hovering anywhere from #111 to #103 for the last week.
I dont know if thats good or bad...or what it really means, if anything lol
I think being around #100 in your first full month on MFC constitutes a Victory...That is really good ... 
And yes , if she really made the 1 million tokens ( and I am sure it is very close when she did not make it) then that is a new record...I was #1 with almost half of that in February...... the last 3 months have been crazy with huge tippers and tips ....10-20-40 and even 70K tips....but like I said in another message it is not all what it seems like.....

In terms of a pure $out-$in - she's also spent a lot on expenses this month.
The contest is a great way to get the top models working really hard for MFC - directly competing against each other, rather than simply kicking back after they've made their $x for that month, and going to the beach.
(From a purely MFC perspective - if it's good for anyone else is another question)
