Dude, you are not understanding what I am saying. If you see a video there to click on, then you will be able to access that content. It's the content that they removed from you, which you can't see in your collection, that is inaccessible.

You can click them all and they will work. I do believe you. But what you are not getting is that there is content that was removed from your collection without you knowing. Like I said previously, if you only had a few purchases then there's a possibility that you will still have them. If you had a lot, then it may take a while to catch on that your content links were removed. In my particular case, it was my personal and most expensive content that was removed. That's why I noticed it. Besides, CB did not deny that the content links were removed. In fact, they doubled down that they had a right to do it without any reason or cause.

You're presenting an assumption about a fact. The only fact you have presented is content you purchased was removed from your library. You can't prove why, only assume.

That's actually when I noticed my content links were removed. Like I'm really going to buy new content knowing it will be removed immediately.

Are you sure the model didn't delete the content herself? I'm not familiar with CB, like at all, but this is what it sounds like to me. Especially if other people are saying they haven't had these same issues.

It's not completely uncommon for models to delete older content that isn't really selling well. Especially if it was highly priced custom content that they had up in their store (not too sure how CB's clip purchases work) and you were the only buyer.

Have you actually tried talking to the model/models and asking them about the missing content? Like, I solely do content now and I have a few regulars who pay quite a bit for their customs. If they somehow lost access to their customs I'd do what I could to make sure they get access to them again.

Easily verifiable by going to the model's page and looking for that content. If they purchased the content and the content was still available on the bio, the token/fan club status requirement would be removed.

Instead of getting worked up and wanting to sue a multimillion dollar company (which we all know wouldn’t lead anywhere), it would be so much easier to just talk to the model instead. I already said this, but if a member had verifiably bought my content before and through some random glitch no longer had access to it, I’d just send them a free link to it. MV makes that an easy option, as does MFC Share. I’d imagine there’d be a way for the model to do the same with content on CB. And if the member was a whale of mine who I was in good standing with, I’d rectify the situation as soon as possible (but like I said, I’d do that with any member as long as I knew for sure they had already purchased the content).

Models can leave this industry at any time with absolutely no warning, and a lot of models will delete their accounts and all the content with it and do their best to erase all their content from the internet. So, at any moment, a member can lose all the content they paid for if they haven’t downloaded it, and I don’t think that the site the content was bought on should have to refund the members in those instances.

So basically, if there’s some really amazing content (whether pre-made or custom) that you bought from a model that you know you’ll want to rewatch, download it if she allows it to be downloaded and save it to a special porn file.

....how old is this video you are talking about? Because models deleting content hasn't removed from collections in like.....4-5 years or something like that. It's been a while.

Chaturbate doesn't allow members to download content at all. As far as custom content goes, when uploaded to CB it's really hard to make it exclusive to just one person without pricing out everyone else which is what he said the model did -- she made the price so insane no one but him would buy it. (Maximum is 9999 tokens just one token short of $500 (or $250 for fan club exclusivity).

I routinely delete the stuff on my hard drive that I recorded for OF. It's kind of an OCD, "it's done, they have the content" thing with me. If she doesn't have snap or MV or another clip site it would be hard to get that file to him without doing Dropbox or another open file sharing site.

In truth, I do not believe she messaged him to buy the new video if he didn't outright request it as custom. If he hasn't been tipping, she can't DM him because that window only lasts 24 hours since last tip.

I have no clue, because I only use external hard drives myself. Do you know the benefits? I think I have a few clouds, but they are full, amd I never pay them attention.
I get notices all the time saying this and that is full though, but I disregard and focus on external drives. I can get a few terabyte hard drive for $50.

MV does make that incredibly easy. I always send the indie guys over there for that, when I need to sell clips for cash etc.
Pretty sure they can join free, and then the link can be set to downloadable too. Which is super convenient. One of my Fave things about MV for sure. I only have a small portion of my clips up there though. Like maybe 1/3rd if that.

I wish it were that easy on LF.

Honestly, if having access to the content in perpetuity is a big deal for a member, I’d imagine either buying it on a site that allows downloads or working it out with the model beforehand to where she sends a download link for it after being tipped for it would be the best solution. Otherwise, they have to accept the fact that they can lose that content at any time, like if the model decided to randomly delete the content or her account.

I only really store personal/life pictures and videos, and imo using cloud storage is definitely the better option versus using an external drive. I typically have pretty bad luck with my electronics randomly breaking, and I’ve lost a lot of my personal pics and vids over the years because of that. Being able to save to the cloud means that as long as I have the password, I’ll still have access. Downside is that you usually have to pay monthly for it, but you can get some pretty big storage plans for under $10, so I personally don’t see that as much of an issue to have peace of mind that if my phone/laptop/external drive decides to randomly break down I’ll still have my pictures and videos.

I just want to give a nod of appreciation to all of us who stepped in and are like it's like this here and like this there and how it works for one model/situation may not work so much for another.

This is what real sex positivity looks like and I thank you for reminding everyone about the other side. How these guys walk into the room and think they're taking things off the shelf like it's Target, when there are real hurdles to this.

I spent thousands of hours on AOL in the 90's and live chat is my bag. It's something entirely different for others, the newer models maybe don't understand the value there and it's cool. I appreciate every thread where we are vocal and get to bounce off of each other.

Sadly, it really does all boil down to preference and there's only so much of that that matters when it's not a broadcaster's preference or a potential client but there is really room enough for everyone. This community has been a wealth of information for myself and I hope for others.

I'll maintain I'm a hot-headed Leo and I'm gunning for anyone who thinks the disparity weighs on the man's side.

I've sent you a link for a MV video before, right? I know I sent MV download links to two other models I chatted with on here when they wanted some help with very specific niche fetishes before.

And I don't know how common it is now with all the new updates MV has done, but I know a few years back it was somewhat common for models to swap video links so that way they could leave five star reviews for one another, haha.
