Crazy weather here! Already have a few tornado touchdowns south of us and it's been storming like mad. For November it is very warm right now (68 degrees F) but we'll drop back to around 45 by tomorrow.

I FINALLY got internet turned on! It only took them 2 freakin' days! *insert huge sigh of relief here* I'm now in my new apartment, which is more like a flat, but living where I do, no one knows what a flat is, so they say apartment. Somehow, this place had never been hooked up for internet in like the last 50-100 years it's been around. The past two days I have been unpacking, because I can't begin to tell you how boring it is when you normally have internet, and work on the internet, and then it vanishes.
Side note of actual conversation I had with the cable guy to hook the place up for internet:
Cable guy: So, all should be good, and if you want a a better connection for wireless, there's a device you can just plug in if you'd like...oh wait you probably don't want wireless for your work, that's right...
Me: Uh...my job? I didn't mention my job.
I swear, no toys were out or camera...nothing on my desktop to make anyone presume anything (my folder on my desktop with cam related stuff, pics, vids etc is called New Folder to avoid awkwardness). Ugh I hate how I can't block areas on SM without losing income by a ton.
Aside from the creepy cable guy I love my new place! Everything it came with object-wise is really small like me when it comes to things like the kitchen counter stove fridge and stuff. I feel like I got my kitchen made from the Same people who did the houses in The Hobbit. The ceilings are really tall though, it gives kinda weird effect, but it amuses me so yay! :dance:

So I was in a models room tonight when it was raided by a bunch of members from the lounge. I had never seen a raid before so I don't know what its purpose is. They didn't tip. They just spammed the room with emotes and insulted the model until she logged off. I thought to myself they were a bunch of broke ass college kids, home from school, with nothing to do. I was curious so I clicked on some of their names and some had profiles. According to their profiles, they were in their early to mid 30's! I almost fell out of my chair. Is 30 becoming the new 15? You would think that one of these 30+ year old's would tell the other 30+ year old's that "you are in your f ing 30's now. Its time to stop pulling on the girls pigtails.".

I'm now thankful we had the protest outside my office. Just had a phone call on my mobile whilst I was having dinner, asking where I was at a meeting I apparently was supposed to be at started at 6pm.
A small white lie about still being at the office, having finally got the protesters to leave this afternoon and then having the debrief meeting, and I think I'm in the clear as this other meeting is an hours drive away. Finishing dinner, the media coverage showing footage of the eviction is broadcast, just to sort of confirm what I'd said.
I hate what I've done, but it sounds better than me forgetting about the meeting.

Really need intonation in written conversations with people. Just logged in to an MFC mail stating that a model whose room I go in now and again was offended by me saying she had a memory like a sieve, after what had been a jokey conversation initiated by her about how she forgets everything!

Finally changed the board preference to show new posts at the top and older ones below, basically all reverse from the default setting. Way better this way. When i read the latest post now it's just a single little scroll wheel up to hit 'View unread posts.'
The only thing is now every time someone references the posts above, I have to think about it cause there are no posts above. :-D

I'm trying to find clothes. I've been putting it off knowing I'd have to find bra, panties, top, bottom, stockings that all match. (Still haven't organized well since my moving and it's all a big pile in a closet. I also need to make a ton of content on Sunday (also catching up due to the move) Frustrating trying to find things that match. Darn my OCD wanting things to coordinate! I think I'll surrender if I just find a bra and thong.

Getting to visit my biological family is always fun. I feel like I'm home, no matter how long I've been gone. And nothing beats the main city. Even though I never lived in the city, touching down there I instantly felt at home. And I've felt at home ever since.

Today I went to some TV studios to film an audition for a TV quiz game show. They auditioned groups at a time, and gave you general knowledge questions.
The idea of the quiz involves both team work and individual general knowledge. They gave a few tests, see how everyone got on. I got the vast majority right (and learned I need to study more French), set a new record in one of the rounds, encouraged the team, as well as getting a few laughs out of people.
I wasn't successful in getting onto the show. One person from our group of 8 is going on there. Someone who has already been on a rival quiz show (and lost early on!) and done worse than me in several rounds. No feedback given, but I imagine the official line would be "You didn't come across well on camera" whereas I'm more inclined to believe it was because I was very good and risked taking a lot of winnings from them.

Models that once in awhile take time to just have conversations in PM's, not just camming related or pervy talk, but real conversations about every day stuff. I know you could be doing other things, both on and off cams. So I just want you to know I appreciate you. You know who you are.
