careful with some models

I wanted to warn some members to be careful with some models.
A friend of mine was scammed by a model. Well it was stupid to believe in some things.
I'll explain.
A friend of mine knows one model of my free cams a long time.
He always helped her eith big tips, up camscore. Until one time she asking for money. Needed to pay bills. he transferred money several times to her account bank. He transferred money for she buy a car for example. she came with a conversation say thatliked to meet him. he even sent money for her buy plane tickets.

He told me that only in tokens spent about 700 000 tokens and transfers $ 80,000.

The problem is that she now arranges always excuses. can not meet him because she is busy, sick ..

I told him mfc not a dating site and the models are not escorts. He said the meeting was not anything sexual is only a dinner, movie .. How many models make in raffles..

Members beware of some models.

The models that frequent this forum are good people.

I can not say the name of model. but she is not from USA, CANADA or UK.

He said to me is planning to send an email to the administrators of mfc. and tell everythingh. the mail is not for the money he lost but because of lies and attidude of model.

the model can be banned because of this? Receive money?

No he will not receive anything back from the site, no matter if he's asking for tokens back or in cash. And I also imagine highly HIGHLY unlikely she'd get banned.

It sucks that she led him on, but it's a lesson learned. The scamming goes both ways.

So far no takers and I was starting to get discouraged and wonder if it was all worth it but it turns out there are people stupid enough out there and this story gives me hope.

Don't hate on me, I'm an opportunivore, and this model you're talking about is an evil genius, I don't feel there's any shame in it, I suspect the MFC legal department agrees with me.

tbh, in this sort of situation, I'd have no issues with "name and shame".
If a model is willing to "scam" raffle prizes like that, and since tips have no refund policy on MFC (yet MFC say all transactions to be conducted off site should be paid via tokens on site) - then naming and shaming is definitely a way to deter such behaviour...
(of course, screenshot of tip via members token payment, and the archive chat permitting).

It's one reason I don't ever go for "raffle" despite some prizes looking great (unless I knew the model, but the models I know don't do raffles).
There's no way to know the model isn't fixing it...

i do prize boards with skype shows, or at least i used to before i got screwed over by too many members. if you win a skype show, great. use the damn thing, don't hold onto it for 3 months and then ask if you can still use it. that answer would be a big fat no because i reminded you several times to use your prize and you kept saying no you wanted to wait. it goes both ways with scams. as a model i get a lot of members crying to me that they got scammed over by another model and can they get a free show or make up show from me because of it. uh, no that should be obvious. be wary the first few times you do any transaction regarding tokens/paypal and keep an eye out for anything shady. don't throw your money out the window like confetti and you won't find people stealing it off the street, it's the same for models.

I have done Skype show stuff from raffles or high tipper of the night gets one, I always tell the person right after they win to set up a time with me I am available ___ and ___. If they dont schedule one or never show up for the time, that is their fault.. not mine!

I've heard of this type of thing before. Similar scams happen frequently on dating websites.

The only way to not get burned is to never give cash to or otherwise financially support someone you're not married to. That includes live-in girlfriends who break up with you once you buy them a brand new car. I make more than twice as much as my wife does, but until the day we were married, I made her pay 50% of all household expenses.

This scam can also happen with genders reversed. I know a middle-aged female co-worker who met a nice guy via a dating website and eventually started wiring him cash. She never met the guy in person. She was under the delusion that she was in a real relationship with the guy, even though she had never met him. She learned quite the lesson when she stopped wiring him money and he stopped talking to her.

Good points on both. It is up to the member to take things into moderation, not the model. Every member on the site is a grown adult (hopefully) so they take responsibility for their own actions.

Yes... paying in advance for a Skype show from a girl you don't know if you can trust is a gamble. If you want guaranteed shows, go private on the site you're visiting her on and pay per minute. That is, afterall, what cam sites are built to do: guarantee you're getting the show you're paying for.
