If you knew a model who was starting CB, but didn't know anything about the site at all. What's the first, basic advice you'd give them? Other than to turn off grays (which is probably the only thing this model knows so far).

Anything about the interface is especially helpful, since this model has information processing issues, and gets overwhelmed easily.
(Don't worry though, she does at least know the basic stuff like don't have unverified people on stream, don't do ageplay, don't give out personal details, or anything else that's super weird.)

I'd tell them to learn to use bots, and also to spend some time in other rooms of other models (and not just the first page) just to learn the overall culture of the site.

Take as much advantage of the first 7 days after verification, this is the promo period so try to gain as many followers as possible.
During the promo period try to avoid privates in the middle of the stream, but maybe try to schedule potential privates for the end of the planned stream.

Password is when you put a password on the room and give it to the other party, but you do not get tokens automatically.
A Private request will be seen as a pop up in the stream.

If the goal is not reached it is cool just to end the stream with a thank you.

Depends, how many viewers in the room. Dont give it all the way at the start of streaming.
If there big tippers, then can the goal perfomered. otherwise Thanks see you next time

Ohh...charge for PM, there will be a lot of requests for PMs...and it is perfectly fine to ignore users that pm first, they pay for a supporter on CB that enable them to instigate PMs. But they should still pay for the models time.

Make sure she's already aware that most girls don't make alot of income based on dollars. (Personally if person was living in uk, I would tell them not to bother unless they were really into exhibition as the average income doesn't seem better then minimum wage jobs)

the green "new" tag is the single most important tag to have, when she first broadcasts try to broadcast every day of the week until she loses the tag to get more followers and raise her chances of earning more income.

If room is quiet look busy, more users are more likely to enter a room if the thumbnail has a girl looking like she's dancing or about to take off her clothes then if she's just sat there.

Pace herself! If getting overwhelmed just type BRB and leave the room for a breather.

Look around and see what the popular models are doing and also check to see what prices people are charging.

This is ofc a point of view from a user rather then a broadcaster.

Set your private rate to at least 120 tokens per minute, if you allow spying that rate should be at least half of that amount or more than that amount, your choice.

Low menu prices = small tippers.

Never pay to promote your room yourself, have a viewer do it. Or don't, there's no turnover there and it's just giving tokens back to CB.

Have a fan club membership. Base the rate on the amount of content you provide every month. Or no content at all (I don't post anything on CB. There is a reason and I won't discuss it here in public.)

Oh and as soon as you hit broadcast, go to your settings (the gear icon next to the PM tab) and set your banned word list up. Cunt shit piss et al.

Ban anyone for any reason.

And sort your users by token amounts not alphabetically.

If a user is above your name they have more tokens than you. If they are below you, they do not.

Do not play any music where ads can pop up. But do play music.

People will threaten to report you for it, it's a non-issue, ignore them.

Leader boards are up to you. I find they are counterproductive because people will arbitrarily decide you're made enough money today and stop tipping.
