These are a far cry from olives, but what about pepper shooters? I LOVE these things but people always get so grossed out with I eat them.
Its a hot pepper stuffed with cheese and prosciutto.

This reminds me of one of my favorite creations! Bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with pistachios and cream cheese!
If I were still on the market, I'd try to wrap my dates in bacon, I think.

I don't know how I managed to find a wife....

This prosciutto thing... I've never heard of it. It looks like some sort of lunch meat?

It's basically a really thinly sliced dry-cured ham. It tastes wayyyyy better than lunchmeat, IMO.
I googled how it's made:
"Prosciutto is made by salting and pressing the ham for about two months, until it is drained of blood; it is then rinsed well and left out to dry in a cool environment. The aging process can take up to three years, depending on the patience and quality of the producer. Nitrates may or may not be added."

It is created by the pig gods

Re: A beautiful woman just fed me olives, but had a bad atti

so it's like a pig-jerky. okay.

I like jerky. I should try this sometime.

Re: A beautiful woman just fed me olives, but had a bad atti

I remember going to Albertson's butcher block once asking for prosciutto. The guy behind the counter said something like, "we don't do them fancy meats here; I dunno what that even is." lol I went to a proper deli.

Hmmmm

Now its almost breakfast time and I wish I could make some Lox roll ups.

Made this a lot growing up. Lox with creamcheese on the inside with a lil chive. Some people put cavier on top...I like to put a capper or two.

Re: A beautiful woman just fed me olives, but had a bad atti

Oh Damn Lucky ! That looks sooo good. I need to find one of those .... :-D

The best prosciutto I ever had was from an Italian specialty food shop. Supposedly it was imported from northern Italy and like many other food things from the region, had won a wall full of awards. I'm beginning to think its time to have a foodie gathering. Everyone bring some sort of Deli made something and a bottle of wine or something different to sample. Olives of all types, cheeses, prosciutto, stuffed/pickled veggies, Lox, pastrami, some "not run of the mill" crackers or tiny breads or flat bread.... Mmmm... I smell the makings of a party.

I also enjoy the little melba toasts you get at the deli in the plastic wrapping sometimes with melted pepperjack...
I'm a total food nerd, so I'll be at that imaginary party with bells on. but I'm also one of those total weirdos who goes a few days every now and then not eating any meat or dairy. (not forever....don't nag me.. just a thing I do lol) and am in the midst of that right now so this is basically just torturing myself here.PLUS I used to be able to find any of these foods on a moments notice... and now I live in bumblefuck USA where I've yet to witness a deli :crybaby: WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY

We be mad educated yo

Also---if you mean katz, and in THE katz (not sure if they have opened up other locations or something) they are almost never closed. They open real early and close real late. They are without a doubt defintly open on Sunday!
My mother and I used to travel all the way cross and downtown as a tradition, after Sunday School. :)

Yesterday I ate a burger with caramelized sweet plantain, bacon and nutella.
It was delicious but I think I want to try it again sans nutella.

Yes, I think this is a rare exception for nutella.
I do enjoy nutella, brie and apple "grilled cheese"!

Cupcake/muffin pan, line with prosciutto, fill with egg, top with cheese, bake.

Delicious carnivore breakfast.

Put all of that wrapped inside a crescent roll. It will blow your mind ! Or keep it in the muffin pan and mix it with the homemade biscuit dough. Add syrup for dipping, and sausage on the side. :)
