As a member yeah, it totally pisses me off when I see another member refer to a model as "bb.". My ADHD and OCD kicks in and I want to yell at those members, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?! ARE YOU TOO DAMN STUPID THAT YOU CAN'T SPELL OR JUST TOO FUCKING LAZY TO DO SOMETHING CORRECTLY???"

And then I'll think about squirrels or some shit and I absolutely forget why I got upset in the first place. Hey look! Cats! :)

Does anyone actually know what a Hun was? soooo not sexy :p

I dunno, I personally find vikings incredibly sexy, it's not much of a stretch to imagine someone with a Hun fetish.

All I told him, was to calm it down on the abbreviations...hah. Seriously though, "bb dol" ugh.

I'm super-introverted and easily put off. Some guys that call me 'bb' actually do end up buying shows, but whenever I read it, I just imagine it in this super-sleazy voice. It's kinda like how some people react to the word 'moist'. It just feels wrong to hear.

Yes, "sultry" is so much less creepy. :)

If you are someone who chooses to skip the a and the y in baby then you owe me a token every time you do it.

If you are someone who i dont know well, pet names excessively will irritate me. One occasional luv or hun in there wont bother me but if its constant.

Members who write bb tend to be pretty obnoxious personalities with a few exceptions.

Also: I call most models bb.

I always open with hi bb hru when I join a room, it's funny to see the model and other members reactions especially when she acts all sarcastic then shes you have a boatload of tokens and points

In particular, when I see someone calling a woman who is not someone he is involved with baby, bb, babe, etc. I think... What am I, in some old b&w Frank Sinatra or James Cagney or Humphrey Bogart movie? And when they call a woman "hun" versus "hon," I think they're calling the model an ancient member of a a barbaric tribe that swept through Europe destroying cities for fun. :) Unwanted terms of endearment are just creepy.
You've taken the "hun" thought right out of my mind. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels irritated when called "bb", "hun" or "babe". It drives me nuts - also because these dudes want to be "dominated", but they don't know a thing about etiquette in general, even less BDSM etiquette.

This! Holy crap it amazes me...I'm fine when I'm called hun or whatever when a friend says hi, but when a sub says it, I'm like "Really?!"

On occasion, I see people type "bby" or "bbe".

That's 1000x worse than regular ol' "bb". Your finger couldn't snag that "a" while you were at it?

Members who are pleasant to have around rarely call me hunie or typ lyk dis bb . hmmm

But seriously, calling pet names to someone you don't know is squicky. "Hun" also has confrontational/sarcastic meaning to it where I'm from, and its hard to dissociate it from catty girls and creepy rednecks.

Chatspeak is hard for me to read, I dont expect perfect grammar every time, but a 4 letter word, really?
In a busy chat or twitter shorthand (tn, tmrw etc) makes sense, but in mails and a normal paced chatroom I give members the courtesy of typing coherently...it comes off kinda disrespectful and lazy. Especially if you're asking for something or trying to negotiate a transaction.

Why is it necessary to say BB at the end of every damn thing??? BB this BB that, omfg just shut up.

A guy typed 'sx c" the other day instead of sexy. What in the damn hell?
Ha! And really, I don't even like "sexy." Too often it's used as a noun, and even when used correctly, it's become so overused that it's lost any meaning.
