I went tto the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival last weekend and saw eight great bands in 12 hours in the 90 plus degree sun.
It was as amazing as my 10 previous times!

That sounds kind of like a dream come true. Is it like burning Man or something? What’s the vibe? Or is it more people dressing up in medieval costumes etc Thise medieval things are something else?!! Those nerds can fucking party! (Lol - I would assume anyways ). I mean, I know some cool bikers too though. No judgement. Whenever I hear festival I always wonder what kind of US group kinda predominantly hangs out there. The US is super cliquey or groupish or whatever.

Nothing like burning man. It's primarily music with a slew of vendors, some art installations and organization booths. Multiple stages and tents. Seven stages, music going constantly. Goes pretty much 24/7. Lots of EDM late night.
The vibe is super laid back, LGBTQ friendly. Some people wear costumes and some very little clothing, but everyone is mostly cool. No fights. The motto is "radiate positivity."
It can be hot, dusty, wet, muddy, but I love it. Everyone is cool to each other and I met some wonderful people this year.
It's on a farm southeast of Nashville, Tennessee. And only 2.5 hours from where I live.
It's a four-day camping festival than can draw, 60,000-70,000 people.
It's huge, but not as big as Glastonbury.

My partner talks about Carnivale a lot. That sounds really fun and positive too. But you have to go to a different continent for that one. And I’d imagine there’s more serious dancing going on there.

Honestly most people are in shorts and T-shirts. The sun will roast you. Women in bathing suits. A lot of people wore loose, long-sleeve tops and pants this year due to the heat. You have to know how to find the shade or hit some tents for a while.
