I think what punk is trying to say is that even if we spend hours a day hunting down caps and fighting recorders, it will continue to happen. The only difference is that the battle causes a lot of upset and time.
Don't get me wrong, I don't condone recording and I'll send a link to MFC if I happen upon it but spending hours of time and energy to fight just isn't worth it and in the end, only costs me money. I'm far less likely to get on cam in a good mood if I'm worrying about being recorded constantly and fighting with defiant toddlers on a site dedicated to being defiant.

Terrible use of an awesome quote. So the forces of evil are a bunch of betas recording camgirls and the good men are the white knight goofs protecting and saving the camgirls.

Since this needs spelling out in simple words. The forces of evil are the putzes who are doing the illegal capping and posting to web pages with compensation to the original artists in any way. And the good men (i never said white knight) are the people who don't approve of that illegal activity.

Directly responding to your post would mean if people just stand by and do nothing because they are under the impression the evil guys are going to win anyway then they have indeed already won, since all they need to actually win is for people opposed to them to do nothing.

Now all that typing was rather nicely summed up in a simple quote from a poet but I was under the mistaken impression most people would understand simple words and be able to relate them to a current topic being discussed. I agree 98% with what he has to say, only because I don't think it hurts to care a tiny bit but honestly, I think a lot of models are just hurting themselves the more they fight. Some of the most outspoken models on fighting cappers are also the most capped, and majority of that capping started after the war began because people do it just to spite the person who obviously hates it.
He makes a very valid point that I honestly wish more girls would take to heart, mostly because I hate to see any of my fellow models get so upset and bothered by anything. Especially something this abundant.

Not saying anyone will, but because I seem to defend him often I will cover any possible jumps to conclusions. I do now know Punk outside of the forum, and aside from liking NoFx have zero reason to kiss his ass.

WTF are you even talking about? My "needing something fun to do" comment was referring to the cappers. Notice that I said 'dudes' (plural). It wasn't referring to your friend punk.

This whole thread is silly, and how some of you are so quick to defend Punk, who only comes into these threads to instigate. Some of us actually post because we're interested in the current topic...not because we're bored and are looking to instigate.

From my experience, being labeled as a "White Knight" makes you even more suspect than being called out as a capper. Somehow what the cappers do seems to make sense to everybody here. However what White Knights do, doesn't - unless it's understood as a subtle form of blackmail. So better to do what you need to do to give people a "heads-up" on the QT, and say nothing further about it..

That is the description of a troll, and there hasn't been any hateful posts like that in this particular thread.

Obsessing over cappers to the point where it's controlling your camming career/money is unreasonable. But there is such a thing as going about your business as normal (cam models, I mean) while attempting to minimize the problem. If a model chooses to have her video taken down and then it is taken down, I don't consider that "wasting time," nor do I consider it obsessive. Wasting time and obsessing would be if you were to sit in MFC public chat neglecting your room, because you're too busy Googling yourself to see what videos you'll find.

This is what led me to the question, "then why are you posting here?" If it doesn't concern you, it leads me to believe it doesn't interest you...if it does, then it's bizarre. Are you generally interested in things that you don't care about?

I would love for you to post examples of the so-called hate and insults that I constantly post. I can tell you right now that if you were to post some examples (which you won't, because you won't find much), it would show that the recipient of it was either a troll or a person who was very nasty in that particular thread. And you would find that I'm not the only one making such comments. But nice try in trying to make me sound like a horrible forum member...when it is you who causes nothing but trouble on here.
