Tip - Many or 1 Big - Which Do You Prefer

So, I've debated this many times with myself. Is it better to give one larger tip, or many smaller? Both equal the same total.

What are your thoughts models and members?

Lately, I've been leaning toward larger # of tokens per tip.

When you consider how many models have contests that say "Highest single tip gets X", I would suppose most of us like to get a big bomb vs. lots of smaller ones. My preference depends on my mood.

Honestly I'm flattered no matter what method tips are delivered to me in, but yeah the big ones make jaws drop, and that's fun all within itself.

I think it totally depends on the attitude of the model and the vibe in her room, ie: some of my most beloved premiums like to "help get the ball rolling" in public chat by riling up the room with smaller tips and it creates a really fun vibe! But if your girl is stressing about her camscore then she would appreciate knowing you rated a larger tip. If she's *really* stressing her camscore then an offline tip does the most good, and it's really sweet to receive a little note when we're offline that somebody is thinking about us

well me personally i like alot of small tips from different people...
i dont think i will ever get a big tip.. but aside from that i just like the yellow things... and if its a whole bunch its makes my head spin.. hehe
and lemon is totally right about offline tips.. they warm your heart... like aaw i wasnt even on and he or she thought of me...

Tipping is kind of situational. I generally prefer to give fewer ratable tips, but if there's a countdown or a flurry of small tips, I'll go with the flow.

If we had some insight as to whether, say the CS bump from 5 x 100 was equal to, less than or greater than 10 x 50 or 1 x 500, I would always tip according to whatever helps the model more. I like for my model friends to get the biggest bang for my buck.

And yeah, if you really want to get someone's attention, offline is the way to go.

Great question! I do like bigger tips because they can be rated, which obviously improves my cam score... However, I try not to dwell on the cam score. I would hate to let Prems see me so preoccupied with tokens and scores... the tokens are great, but I'm here mostly for the fun, sexy times! I like to think that if I'm fun and sexy, the tokens will come eventually.

All the same, I also love the little 10 token tips because they come in more frequently and create action and conversation and emotication in the chat!

a bunch of small tips one right after the other make me blush just as much as a big one. Some models, big tip is bigger than other models. My room, average tip seems to be 10/20 toks. 50 seems "big" while 100 is WOW! Getting a 500 followed by a 200 from the same person was "OMFG THANKS!"

Some of the higher scored models, getting a 200 tip is no big deal, and anything less than 20 is instaban.

To each their own.

The problem with the "highest tip gets X" approach is it can actually alienate the Prems who are your bread & butter. As somebody who doesn't have the highest of incomes I tip what I can, when I can; and for my fave models I'll be there tipping regularly if not spectacularly & I'll try to garner enough tips for special nights/birthdays etc. But when I've dropped what is for me a high tip (I managed 1000 tokens on a models birthday) it's not good for the ego when somebody arrives, drops a 2000 token tip, and then has the models undvided attention for the rest of the evening - especially when you know that guy won't be around again for a looooong time (if ever). You may assume we all just think with our dicks, but we have feelings too; and if I think I'm being used, ain't no way I'm coming back to your room again - it's why the "Friends" on my profile have dropped from a stupidly long list to just 3, because these are 3 ladies who respect their regulars & their regulars respect them.

I think it's really disrespectful when a model turns 100% of her attention to someone just because they tipped big and ignore everyone else. If I get a big tip I will be very very thankful, but I make sure the rest of my regulars/patrons know that I appreciate their tips as well, especially if there had been some sort of major tip storm right before that big tip. I have had guys in the past say that they can't compete (right after a big tip) and I firmly tell them that they don't have to compete, I appreciate everything that everyone gives me because I am not entitled to tips, they do it out of the generosity of their hearts. Some people just have bigger wallets.

To answer the question...I like big tips, but when my guys do smaller tips to try to get everyone else to pitch in that's pretty awesome too.

Maybe I'm weird, but I like smaller tips. I'd rather one of my regs tip me for whatever here and there while I'm online (or offline) than drop a token bomb on me. Mostly because I generally like my regs for the conversation and I'd feel bad if they were dropping some srs tokenage on me too often since I'm normally just shooting the shit. Not that I don't appreciate it though! It's always entirely unexpected when that happens.

I don't need nor expect some giant tip to be impressed/thankful, hell, send me 12 tokens with a funny joke or something, that's totally ballin' in my books.

So just because someone drops a huge tip doesn't mean they expect, or even want, the model to jump through hoops afterward.

I love both!! My landlord has no issue accepting my rent checks that were an accumulation of 10-20 token tips at a time versus a 2,000 token tips :lol: Obviously if the person wants to tip a bunch, I would prefer 90 tokens/tip versus 89 tokens/tip because they can then rate (which is why a lot of my guys will tip for a couple of my countdown numbers at once instead of tipping 10, 11, 12, 13,...). And big tips are fun for the "OMG!" aspect But I am super excited over any tokens that I get!!

I think the only time I get silly about tips is when my OCD kicks in (ask any of my regulars!) and I want to end the day on an "even" number (i.e. have zeros at the end of my tokens gotten for the day). In fact, I think I'm contagious b/c I have at least one reg who now has to make sure that he has an even number of tokens left at the end of the day now, too!!! :lol:

On a slightly side note, I definitely try to be equally thankful for all the tips that I get and don't want to alienate someone who doesn't have as deep pockets. But this also means I don't want to alienate the person who did give me a very large gift by not being extra thankful for his generosity. In the end, though, everyone in my room benefits from all tips since the more tips/bigger tips there are, the faster we can start the show and all cum I guess what I'm saying is, if you feel that your tip got passed over because it wasn't as large, just remember that a lot of times the bigger tippers are not just random guys, but good friends. Make sure that you don't just tip the model once and never say a word to her, go back to her room and chat and hang out with her and the other guys... make friends with us!! I'm just as thankful for my guys who don't have huge pockets but hang out with me and keep me company and cheer me up during slow times as the guys who are friends who also happen to tip big.

rofl, I had that happen the other nite. I got the highest tip I've ever gotten and immediately the random guys in the room started piping up with "so what are ya gonna do for that tip bb" and "so you better put on a hot show for us" lollll. I was like "do you go into a five star restaurant, and tell the waiter you want the filet mignon for free because the dude at the next table just paid for one?" :lol:

It's true, sometimes the tips are just for something silly or nothing in particular at all. But there's always someone who has to keep track of what someone has been tipping and pipe up about how so-and-so has tipped ___ tokens and the model hasn't started humping anything yet. I find that this person is often someone who hasn't really contributed at all, or very little, token-wise or conversation-wise, and only speaks up when they feel something should be done whereas they really have no say in it.

im more known for and prefer speed tipping 1s, and 10s, I held the MFC record of tipping 1001 tokens in 2 hours and 42 minutes, all in one token tips :-D .......but a guy i taught how to speed tip broke it by tipping 2000 tokens in 1 token tips :crybaby:

How about dropping nice tips one day, but then nothing the next time? Is that rude?

My tips are kinda random and are usually just tipping for the model having a good friendly personality. I usually drop a few tokens in these situations, but I wonder how it would be taken by the model if next time I was there I didn't tip? Would that be viewed as rude?

I've avoided rooms at times after tapping out my daily limits before. (which happens more often than it should, damn you MFC limits!!) lol

I don't mind, I understand that if the guy dropped a large amount the day before it's still the same pay period for him (as it is for me), so he may not be able to afford more. I won't lie, if the guy tips a lot regularly I may come to "expect it" (ie count on his help towards reaching a show countdown or something), but I would never view it as rude if he wasn't able to. Rude only applies when they tip once to get something and then expect the world or go months without tipping, but still expect the same amount of PM time you gave them when they were tipping you daily.

At this moment a big tip would ROCK MY WORLD! My biggest so far is 200 after 12 days...It seems that if the others saw someone drop a big one....they might up their anty. Also....I can't figure what else is going to get my Damn Camscore in a good place. So please, if you visit me and are inclined to tip I think one big one might be more helpful to my situation.

It`s the big bombs that cause the most havok and get the best reaction but honestly I think showing appreciation by at least tipping some thing is the way forward, it shows you appreciate the models time and what she is doing for her pervs.. ahem! sorry fans. Sweet comments go nice with small tips.

I dropped my first big bomb the other day and bless her she nearly cried. I also think tip rains are very good fun especially if you can get 2 or or more ppl involved.

I'm a bit like you OP. Big tips get a good response at the time but once it's gone it's gone.

say you really like a show later on in the day/month, then you got no tips to show it with. Rate and admire and compliment all you want and we know the girlies like that but nothing says I love you like the dlingalingaling of a yellow bar across the screen

I'd say unless you have 5000 or so tokens to drop in a month then stick to <=50 token tips and keep em regular.
