I mentioned in another post that I bought a model something off her wish list, and it was an unpleasant experience for me (no thank you at all). So I am prepared for this OP to be taken as me whining, but I have been thinking about this often lately.
I saw another MFC model this morning who was asking for gift cards to buy a new Mac, as well as specific tips with notes for a trip she plans to take abroad.
First I want to say that I think the last part is ridiculous (just my opinion). How do "I" know that the tips I give for the trip will actually be used for it? Why bother tipping specifically for that and labeling it as such? Why not just tip and the model pool all her funds for the trip?
As for the Mac, I do get that. She would (hopefully) be using it for camming, making it a good thing for her regulars to pitch in for.
Then we have the model I am somewhat grumpy with. So yeah, I am biased. But what I have noticed with her is that all of her topics (except today, which surprised me) have directed guys to her wish list. Her list has included phones and tablets (she has received 3 that I know of), jewelry (LOTS of jewelry) and bags/purses (again, so very many). And her regulars have been buying her loads of stuff. She makes a production of being "away" so she can run to the mailbox to get her new stuff daily and then opening it all on cam. Which I think is smart (the opening on cam part. The running to the mailbox is obviously untrue, unless her mailbox is the size of a shipping container).
A couple days ago she said she was sad that her camscore keeps dropping. One of her regulars suggested removing the wish list so guys actually tip (kinda surprised she never thought of this). It seems to me that this is something MFC would really hate (no, I am not going to report her ), since it means she is using their platform to mainly get Amazon gifts.
What are your thoughts? Is there a point where you think the wish list is ridiculous and members become virtual sugar daddies?
