18"x24" canvas (high quality, none of that half-inch-deep crap) will run you $30-$35 prefabricated from a store, $45 custom made, maybe $25 if you make it yourself (this is not including the labor factored into building it, or the tools you would need to do so.) Oil paints can cost anywhere from $2-$24 per ounce, depending on the pigment and quality. Good quality paintbrushes that don't leave hairs in the paint cost anywhere from $4 to $50 per brush, again depending on size and quality. (I understand that paint, medium, and brushes are things you purchase once and then keep around; however, paint doesn't always stretch as far as one might assume, and these items are in constant need or replacement or upkeep.) So let's put the rough cost of materials alone at $60.

Shipping a painting is a pain in the ass. Not only do you have to wait for it to dry (and cure, if it's oil, which can take over 6 months) but then you almost always need a custom built wooden crate, unless you want holes punched through the canvas. A crate needs to be three inches from the canvas in all directions, so one for an 18x24x2 would need to be 18.5x24.5x2.5. I cannot find an estimation for the price of this, but I would guess $50-$100. This would probably weigh 15-20 pounds, plus another 3-4 pounds with the painting inside. Shipping costs for that would probably run you at least $130. So now our total is at about $300 just for the painting materials and shipping.

Now you're basically down to the labor costs of the painting itself. If she spent 50 hours on it (not really an unusually long time) the labor costs come to around $34/hour. Which, as a camgirl, may even be below her usual hourly income.

OCD kicked in. For the crate IF you had your own jigsaw you could do for around $10 each.
Lowes. Get a sheet of half inch plywood (OSB,but there's even cheaper 1/4" if you like). It will make the front and back for 3 crates out of one sheet with the dimensions you gave. Then also 3 studs (1 for each crate). So the total price for that lumber is:

plus a little bit for some nails.

And if you don't have a jigsaw Lowe's will do cuts for you. Some charge a buck or two per cut, but if you sweet talk them beforehand they do it for nothing. Shipping would go down a bit if you did 1/4" but it's still gonna be up there.

OCD didn't kick hard enough. That's materials alone. For someone who doesn't have the lumber around, and only occasionally does woodworking, the time and cost of going to the store and time spent putting the crate together has to be taken into account. Each canvas is likely a different size, so it's not like you can knock out a dozen in advance all at once for future use.
