This kind of thing has actually been a real source of stress for me over the past couple of years that I've been exclusively doing private based and indie. They make snap judgments based on appearance, which means I basically need to change my appearance from real life so that they make better assumptions about my personality. Apparently my desired appearance and my personality don't match up? Maybe when I'm more conscious I'll start a whole thread on this, I've been having an identity crisis.

@Lintilla I've actually played with this sort of phenomenon in real life with some success. When I go to adult conventions I tend to garner a lot of attention because, y'know, busty midget girl. I get stopped, talked to, pictures taken, etc. and it can get really overwhelming. Our posture, idle expression, and the broad details of how we look are really the only things that get processed before judgements are made. You can change those judgements with exposure but those snap judgements are usually all we get from potential customers.
