Things Members Say That Make You Go "WTF?"

I kinda get the impression some members use compliments as a substitute for tips too. They can't (won't?) tip, so they take it upon themselves to compliment the model every few seconds. In fact, the more I think about it, the guys who I notice incessantly complimenting models in the gushiest of ways possible, don't tend to be tipping all that much. Whereas the guys who are tipping, seem far more interested in getting a show started or just talking to the model, and don't seem to feel the need to find 50 different ways to tell the model how beautiful they are. Maybe tips are the best way to compliment a model - a tip says that the member enjoys the model's company, or that they want to see them naked cos they think they're hot, or both; all without the member having to take the time to articulate an over the top compliment. Plus, compliments can (and in some cases probably should) be construed as disingenous, whereas tips can't :twocents-02cents:

Do compliments like these lead to models becoming desensitized to compliments in general? I kinda feel like there's only so many times you can be told you're beautiful or fuckable or have a "life changing" smile before you stop being flattered when someone tells you this and just start to get bored of it all.

im very guilty of over the top compliments. its the poet in me i guess. i try not to be cookie cutter when i want to say something complimentary and it just seems that for me the best way to do so is to be flowery in my speech/typing. ive read so many romance novels and watched so many movies that simply saying someone is pretty, or nice or has a great smile seems... i dunno empty? thing is i wont give a false compliment either. if i tell someone they are beautiful in whatever words, then i truly mean it, or i would give a different compliment.

i always worry that my verbosity will wipe out the good intent, but i decided some years ago that those who take it as intended do and those who dont ill just be simpler for.

I wonder this same thing all the time. I would guess most Models don't feel, "there's only so many times you can be told you're beautiful", if it feels to be a genuine compliment? But I wonder if any of the compliments feel genuine after a while? (I know many if not most I see seem less than 100% sincere.) With the exception of mine of course, b/c I have the advantage of knowing...

Though to be honest, yes I feel my compliments are sincere, but I am also aware that often the most beautiful young lady you have ever seen, can be similar to the best book you have ever read, - the current one. I like to think my complements are taken as being sincere. I think one caricaturist of my compliments that might distinguish them as being a bit more sincere than many, is they tend to be anything but cookie cutter. Though if one gets too carried away with freestyling, it can be very :? :cya [close tab]
The only thing served less well by explanation, than a joke, is a compliment.

I was just in a room where a guy was going on about how beautiful the model was, how she was much prettier than other models on the site, and asking "how much to marry me?" When tipping stalled for long enough, a couple of us tried to start a group show that failed when no more than 2 people would sign up for it. I guess marriage material is a lower bar than tipping...
