Piercings.. i don't like them. Same with tattoos.. I can, sometimes, understand the reason behind them.. but mostly it seems to be social pressure.. And the point is: you can take out a piercing and it will (somewhat) heal.. but undoing a tattoo is difficult at best.. one does wonder why no one thought of invinting a kind of tattoo ink that is bio-degradable in a span of years so you can wear a tattoo to see how it fits... and if it's bad, it will be gone in, say, 5 years or so.

Of course this whole thread is about expressing things that you don't find sexy that other people do which is a really cool topic and I am often really interested by the posts here! I absolutely respect your opinions, if you don't like plastic surgery, shaved pussies, or piercings/tattoos, that's no big deal at all, but there's really no need to insult people who have those things.

I prefer my pussy completely shaved because I have always been more comfortable that way (and it's TOTALLY fine that plenty of people aren't into it, I don't care), but that doesn't mean that I'm not a woman. If I shaved the hair on my head no one would tell me I'm not a woman anymore. It's just hair. That's just a silly thing to say and super unnecessary.

Also, although it's obviously just fine for you not to be into piercings or tattoos, I don't think that it's really a good idea to speculate about WHY people get them. I would say that it's likely that the most common reason people get them is because they WANT them. Sometimes it is likely to be social pressure, sure, though I haven't seen that to be the case among friends and acquaintances who have them. But I can't really speculate about why each individual does something either, so I would say that overall those things are personal and the reasoning isn't our business. It just doesn't seem very nice to minimize something that's usually important to someone by suggesting that they probably didn't even want it or didn't make a well-informed decision as an adult.

I'm sure that the idea of ink that fades over time isn't a new one and if it doesn't exist, it's probably because no one had made it work yet. Fading ink would likely be a win for the tattoo business, too, because after they fade people can pay all over again to get new tattoos (though I suppose people do that already when they get cover-ups). More people would probably get them because the pressure of "forever" would be gone. I think the permanence can be part of what makes them special for people, though!

Anyway, just some thoughts! Sharing in these kinds of threads is awesome and I think it's even better when everyone tries to be considerate and respectful while doing so.
